Chapter 01 - Conditioning and Preparing your Mind for Workout

Stop Giving Excuses

“You can have results or excuses. Not both.”

Road blocks, brick walls, obstacles, bumps in the road, reasons or whatever you call them - they exist and they get in our way daily in our quest to be healthy and fit.

Stop giving excuses. Never let them hinder your quest for the healthier and happier life. Also, due to the present access to high calorific food, the fitness excuses that one ensured our survival, now send us to an early grave. The best way to get back on board is to stop making excuses.

Below I’ve provided the 5 most common fitness excuses people use to avoid exercising:

I don't have enough time

I have no motivation to workout

I feel intimidated by the fit people there

I don't have anyone to train with

The gym is too expensive or far

These are some of the standard excuses for not making it to the gym that can be heard around the office, school or park every day. Those who are personal trainers or lead fitness classes know the excuses can be much more creative.

To achieve your health and fitness goals, you have to stop making excuses. Not just that, your mindset plays a significant role as well. A positive mindset is the most powerful tool for reaching your goals. The way you perceive your fitness journey will either make or break your goals.

The Power Of Mindset

Fitness begins with the mind, not the body. Never underestimate the power of your mind. The mind has always been at the core of building muscle. Hence, before adhering to any fitness program, the first secret to Muscle Gaining is to get your mindset right. Clear all negative thinking and replace them with positive ones to empower your muscle building journey. Understand that your thoughts are what hold you back from what you truly want to achieve.

The essentiality of having a strong mind is often overshadowed by being strong physically. If you have the right mindset, you will have the mental power to stay focused and push yourself, even when things get tough. Not having the right mindset will result in you end up sabotaging your health and fitness goals in many ways.

So how do you ‘Fix’ your mindset? Here are 5 Simple Techniques to help you achieve your dream body with the right mindset:

1. Set Goals That Are Both Specific & Achievable

You can only WIN if you have a crystal clear outcome. So remember to always begin with the end in mind.

Ask yourself questions like: What’s my ideal weight? How much muscle mass do I want to gain? Is it 10 pounds? 20 pounds? Is my goal only attainable in three months or more? What does it take to achieve my goals? The 2 Rules is to be both Specific & Achievable - do not just estimate or simply see-how-it-goes. It plays an important part in holding yourself accountable to the goals you set.

Without setting specific and achievable goals, you are more likely to stumble and fail. Make your goals specific, write them down! Then put your list of goals onto your mirror, your fridge, your work table, or even your phone screen - just anything that’s clearly visible to you every day. This will keep you reminded of your most important goals every day whether you feel like it or not. In the long-term, this will condition your mind in an empowering way! Mindset conditioning has immense power in fuelling your determination and commitment in your goal to ultimate successful muscle gain.

2. Cultivate Patience

You need time to achieve your desired goals and this requires patience. Be patient for results because muscle gain is not going to happen overnight. Take a step back and evaluate what you have achieved so far. Cultivate patience and learn to celebrate little victories along the way in your goal setting process. This will encourage and motivate you to keep you going.

Everybody is wired differently.

The general rule of thumb is to build 1 pound of muscle per week. Some are able to build more, some less, depending on their diet and exercise regime. So in a month, an average person can expect to put on 1-3 pounds of muscle mass. This gives you a good idea how to set achievable and realistic Goals. If you’re expecting to gain 10 pounds in a month, most probably you’re putting on more fat than muscle mass.

So many people expect results in a minimal timeframe and then lose interest when their desired body is nowhere to be seen. Nothing comes easily. Eat smart, work hard, and most importantly have the patience for results. Remember that Rome wasn’t built in a Day, and so does your body. If you’re working with the right muscle gain plan, eventually the results will prove to you all its worth.

3. Hard Work Is Your Only “Shortcut”

There really isn't any shortcut to muscle gaining. Most of the magic bullets you see in the Fitness Industry today are nothing more than marketing gimmicks. The only way to gain muscle is to invest hard work into building and maintaining it. It is always a gradual process so start small and build from there. There is no substitute for hard work in fitness. The only thing you need to get started is the right knowledge, diet plan, and workout regime. From there, all you need is relentless hard work, patience, and determination to stay on track.

So stop looking for quick fixes as most likely you’d end up burning a hole in your pocket and get nothing in return.

4. Everyone Is Different. Don’t Compare

Do not compare yourself to others. Everyone is different - the way your body absorbs nutrient and reacts towards workouts you do are different from other people.

Do not look at others’ results and think “Why is he/she achieving results faster and better than I do? I worked as hard or even harder but my results are not visible”.

Unnecessary comparison brings disappointment and zero help towards your goal. Focus on your own body. Aim for incremental progress until you finally attain your dream body. Remember, nobody else has your body - you do! Focus only on yourself!

5. Be Completely Committed

Muscle Gain is all about Discipline. The ability to consistently take action regardless of how you feel at any moment. To get started on your fitness journey, all you really need to do is to commit once and do it every single day.

Commit yourself 100% for 90 Days (if not more), set short-term achievable goals – the amount of muscle mass you wish to build, and it shall keep you on track working towards the goals.

This mindset helps you to be realistic. You won’t expect immediate results but instead, you’ll be focusing on the process and duration. Because you understand and is aware that muscle-gaining takes time and effort. When you are mentally prepared to commit to a timeframe, you will persevere through the process.

Here are some strategies to keep you on track when the journey gets too bumpy:

Journaling - It helps you to track of your own progress

Progress Pictures - Super satisfying as you watch your body evolve each day!

Gym / Diet Buddy - Mental and physical support play a big role in helping you stay motivated.

Chapter 01 - Knowing Everything About Metabolism

Before we dig into how we can turn our bodies into a 24 hour fat burning machine, it's helpful to have an understanding of how metabolism works. Welcome to Metabolism 101. Try to pay attention!

All About Energy

Our bodies are always using energy. We use energy when we run, when we sit behind a computer screen and type, when we do a set of pushups, when we have sex. No matter what we do our body needs to raise up enough energy to perform the function. This is an inescapable fact of life, for better or for worse.

We can split the things that our body does that require energy into two broad categories. The first is automatic functions. The second are functions we choose to perform.

Some examples of automatic functions include our beating hearts, when our eyes twitch, the working of our livers and kidneys. We don't control any of these, but as we will see later in our Guide dietary and lifestyle choices can certainly affect how much energy we expend on them.

The functions we choose to perform include absolutely everything else we do in our daily lives. Walk the dog? Or get up to grab the milk? No matter what we "do", it requires some sort of energy expenditure.

All this energy is measured in a unit I'm fairly certain you are familiar with the unit. It's called a calorie. Metabolism is defined as "the caloric sum of both your automatic and voluntary functions that must take place in order for the energy forming process to occur."

Metabolism can be broken down into four parts for our purposes here. They are:

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). This is, by far, the largest part of our metabolism. It counts for over 75% of our daily calorie expenditure. This is where the energy for all of our automatic body functions comes from. Can you see where even small enhancements here can add up to more pounds of fat lost week after week?

Thermal Effect of Feeding (TEF). This is the amount of calories we spend on storing, digesting and absorbing food.

Thermal Effect of Activity (TEA). The TEA is the area we can exert the most influence on. It's the amount of calories we spend on activities like cardio and doing strength training. For some of us it can amount to up to 30% of our caloric expenditure a day.

Adaptive Thermogenisis (AT). We can think of this as our bodies "adaptive" metabolism. It adjusts up and down based on changes in our environment. Things as varied as the temperature we are operating in to our mental state can affect AT. This is an area that can be greatly influenced to our fat burning benefit using the secrets you are about to learn in our Guide!

Youtube In 5 Easy Steps PLR Ebook

Introduction

There’s a good reason that YouTube is the leading video platform online, especially for businesses.

It’s easy to use, allows for maximum exposure in the search engines and the audience is readily available. In fact, YouTube has over a billion registered users, which means it’s clearly a great way to build a business, maximize outreach and develop an outstanding brand.

But we don’t have to tell you about the incredible possibilities that creating a YouTube channel has to offer. You likely already know this. What you may not know is exactly how to get started.

This includes things like:

How to choose a theme for your channel.
How to effectively brand your channel.
How to optimize your channel for maximum exposure.
How to choose the best content formats for your channel.
How to grow your subscriber base.

Well, you’ll no longer be left wondering because all of this is covered in this special report: YouTube in 5 Easy Steps.

We’ll guide you through all the important elements of creating a winning channel.

From how to set up your channel so that it’s designed to attract the most loyal subscribers, to how to plan and produce the highest quality content possible, we’ve got you covered.

Let’s begin!

Step 1: Channel Focus

When it comes to setting up your YouTube account, there are many tutorials online that will guide you through the actual sign-up process, so we won’t cover that in this report.

Instead, we’ll kick things off by talking about what really matters: The focus of your channel.

The truth is, laying the groundwork for your channel early on is key to your success. In fact, the one thing that often separates successful channels from flops is in careful planning.

First, you want to make sure you have decided on one main topic for your channel. Coming up with a strong theme will make it easier for you to grow your audience.

And while you aren’t stuck creating content for only one niche, when you’re just starting out it’s always best to focus on one specific topic rather than trying to cater to multiple audiences.

You can scale your business later by creating additional content that will attract other segments of your market.

The key is to create a channel that is focused and delivers content that is relevant to one main niche.

So, begin by jotting down ideas and notes about the kind of content you want to create.

Research your market in order to better understand what kind of information they’re looking for, what style of content and overall tone are they most likely going to be attracted to and what can you do differently from other channels in your market?

Quite often, the most successful channels are created based on topics you are personally interested in and passionate about. And of course, you want to tie your content in with your existing products, websites or blogs.

The idea is to create one seamless brand where you’re visible on all major platforms, so connecting your YouTube channel with a blog that offers a text-based component will reach a wider audience and help you maximize exposure.

If you aren’t sure what your channel will be about you’ll want to spend some time figuring it out before you go any further. Again, this goes back to researching your market so you can find areas that are lacking in content.

Fulfilling a need in your niche with content that is in-demand but not widely available, will be the easiest way to launch your channel with little marketing needed.

If you need extra help coming up with a focus and theme, here are a few popular themes used in many successful YouTube channels:

How-To/Tutorials/DYI:

These channels are always popular because they teach specific skills. Whether your channel will provide tutorials for things like software, marketing, website building or making money – OR – you create a content based on home improvements, interior design or saving money with renovations, this type of channel is always in demand.

Best of Clips:

Think of these videos as round-ups of popular videos. It could include content like “Funniest Home Videos”, or “Top 10 Vacation Spots”. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure you aren’t infringing on anyone’s content and that you have the right to include segments of videos.

Travel Channels:

People are always looking for reviews on places to vacation and what type of activities are available in these areas. You can easily monetize a travel channel with sponsorships later once your audience grows.

Tech Videos:

Always a popular topic, tech videos simplify technology. You could feature reviews of products such as computers, mobile devices and other gadgets or cover tech news.

Purifying Plants PLR Ebook

Introduction

If you’re like most people, you worry about the quality of the air you’re breathing. There’s just so much pollution nowadays, from factories and industries, vehicles, and second-hand smoke.

And it’s not just outside, either.

Inside, you’re exposed to that same air, plus whatever toxic chemicals happen to be in your cleaning products or the paint on your walls. There are also hundreds of microorganisms living in your house.

NASA produced a report on “Interior Landscape Plants for Indoor Air Pollution Abatement.” This study looked at various plants, plus a carbon filter to see whether the plants could absorb and purify toxins and microorganisms from indoor air.

Based on this report and other sources of proven research, we’ve compiled a list of the top indoor plants that can help purify your home’s air and protect you and your family from toxins and microorganisms.

Best of all, many of these are very easy to grow and maintain, so even if you aren’t a green-thumb, you can have clean air inside your home.

One thing to keep in mind, though. These are live plants, so they’ll need care and attention. If you overwater, you might end up with mold or other fungus that will make the air worse instead of better.

Be sure to follow directions and care for your plants appropriately, so they’ll thrive and help remove all those toxins from your air.

In this special report, we’ll uncover at the top indoor plants that will purify the air you breathe, as well as how to care for them.

We’ll also cover which toxins are most likely to be absorbed by each particular plant so you better understand how each variety goes to work in helping clean the air.

If you follow our directions and put a little work into caring for these plants, you’ll have a lovely, green home with a superior air supply.

Let’s begin!

Purifying Plant #1: Pothos

Houseplants are a valuable addition to any room. They bring a vibrant beauty inside and create a natural oasis inside your home. They liven up a dull corner or window. The right plant can be a fantastic accent piece, whether it’s a hanging fern or a tall palm tree. And of course, they help create fresher air for you and your family.

One of these wonderful plants is known as Pothos (otherwise known as Golden Pothos or Devil’s Ivy).

Pothos is one of the easiest houseplants to keep alive. It’s a tropical plant, so it likes the warmth of an indoor setting. It’s a trailing vine with heart-shaped leaves and can grow up to six to ten feet in length.

Pothos will tolerate low light and humidity, so it’s pretty easy to satisfy this plant and maintain it. However, for a healthier growth, give it bright (but not direct) sunlight and allow the soil to dry out between waterings.

In addition, you’ll want to choose a well-draining potting soil. If your Pothos has pale leaves, it’s probably getting too much sun, whereas if you start to notice the appearance of differently colored zones within the leaves, it means it’s getting too little.

If it starts getting a little leggy, just prune it back to shape it and control the length.

Note: Pothos and philodendron plants are often confused. Pothos stems are grooved, while philodendron stems aren’t. New philodendron leaves have a sheath that dries and falls off; pothos doesn’t have this sheath.

Pothos also like brighter light and warmer temperatures than philodendrons. You’ll often see pothos sold in hanging baskets.

Tip: They aren’t heavy feeders, so fertilize monthly to bi-monthly during the growing season.

Because it removes toxins like formaldehyde and benzene, commonly found in fresh paint, you often see this plant in offices or living rooms. However, it also absorbs carbon monoxide, so it’s a good choice for a bedroom as well.

And Pothos also absorbs xylene and trichloroethylene.

Word of Caution: This plant causes oral irritation and difficulty swallowing in pets, so make sure your dog or cat doesn’t chew on the leaves or stems.

Purifying Plant #2: Dwarf Date Palm

The pygmy date palm is a member of family Arecacea, an enormous group with over 2,600 species growing in tropical and sub-tropical zones of the world.

This particular type is called the date palm because the small yellow flowers on the female trees give way to purplish dates once fertilized.

Palms have numerous graceful arching frond-like leaves that branch directly from the trunk and the dwarf or pygmy variety can reach a height of six to ten feet.

In the wild (Southeast Asia and Africa), they grow in the dense underbrush along riverbanks, in full sun to partial shade. They don’t like a whole lot of direct sunlight, but a little will be all it needs.

Procrastination PLR Ebook

Procrastination is putting things off until it's too late or you need to rush to finish it, causing yourself and others a lot of unnecessary pain and stress. Nearly 88% of the world's working population is said to be guilty of this type of behavior at some point in their life. It's mostly inevitable and only harmful if you let it manifest in your life and become chronic.

Chronic procrastination can lead to poor health, career growth, personal growth, and relationships. However, there are simple ways to overcome it as long as you commit to change.

In this guide, you will discover what type of procrastinator you are, common reasons you developed this habit, and ways to fix it to improve your relationships and live a happier, more fulfilling, and successful life.

Procrastination and Your Brain

Research performed and uncovered at the Procrastination Research Group has found a connection in our brain that allows us to understand procrastination a little better. Their research shows that the way the prefrontal cortex and the amygdala in our brain react together is likely the actual culprit to procrastination. This means science shows that procrastination is more often a result of your emotions than a lack of self-discipline.

Your Prefrontal Cortex and the Amygdala

The amygdala is a set of neurons that resemble the shape of almonds and is found within the brain's medial temporal lobe. It forms part of the limbic system, which plays an integral part in how we process our emotions and respond to fear.

In other words, when you approach a particular situation or challenge in life, your limbic system is what helps you feel pleasure or pain, and your amygdala is what helps you feel stressed or become fearful. It is directly responsible for your “fight or flight” response.

Your prefrontal cortex, on the other hand, is there to help balance these reactions or emotions and is responsible for the functions that allow you to process, plan and focus on everyday life tasks that are needed to get through the day. When you start to procrastinate, your prefrontal cortex starts fighting with the amygdala and, in many cases, loses the battle – in turn continuing your procrastination.

This is because once you start procrastinating, your amygdala recognizes the task as an aversion or negative thing and releases hormones that make you feel uncomfortable, anxious, fearful, or other emotions of discomfort. Your amygdala wants you to get away and run as fast as possible to get to safety and not have to do the work or task, making you procrastinate. When your prefrontal cortex can balance these emotions instead, that’s when you can get back to work.

Many different variables in the world can cause these negative emotions. Moreover, it's essential to show that procrastination produces a chemical response in your brain as it can lead to adverse side effects. Constant up-and -down emotions or never-ending emotional trauma can create chaos throughout your life and can affect your health. This is why it’s crucial to uncover what is causing you to procrastinate and develop techniques to cure it; your health and relationships depend on it.

Common Causes of Procrastination

There are many misconceptions about what causes procrastination. Society views procrastinators as lazy, selfish, and borderline narcissistic. Even if you do think you’re lazy or someone else is lazy, it is not always the case. Causes are broad and include multiple different factors, some of which are personal that you may never experience.

Below are common causes of procrastination:

Perfectionism

Many times, procrastination is the result of perfectionism. This can come about in a couple of different ways. Either you push it off because you know you can’t get it done precisely the way you want, or you end up redoing the assignment too many times until it's late because you can’t get it perfect. Perfectionism and fear of failure are correlated as many prevent success by not starting something.

One example is waiting for everything in your life to be perfect before you start your own business. Most successful entrepreneurs understand that this is not reality. In fact, every day businesses go through unexpected challenges due to human error or due to unavoidable situations.

In other words, a business isn’t perfect and takes risks to be successful. If you strive always to be perfect, you will never learn to take the right risks and leap for the opportunities that are right for you.

The Fear of Failure and Success

New responsibilities or requirements that may be rewarded after the assignment is finished can be too much to process and emotionally handle. The same can be true in reverse and cause you to stall or prevent doing the task. You fear the work because it's new, and you don’t want to be wrong or fail. Not doing it at it all, or using last-minute motivation to get it done, seems better than giving it your most significant try and still failing.

Fear of Criticism

No one likes being judged, especially within their own relationships and at work. It can lead to poor judgment of one’s abilities and self-confidence that can further degrade your work and ability to perform. Unfortunately, not only does this lead to late or missing assignments but also to poor-quality work, due to the emotions of fear taking over your ability to perform at your best.

Dopamine Response

For some, the rush of getting work done last minute and the possible drama it can cause is a fun and exciting feeling. They do it for the dopamine rush to make their days seem more exciting or measurable. It is their way to challenge and add pressure on themselves to motivate or bring more excitement to otherwise dull work.

False Reality of the Future

In simple terms, you decide that whatever you need to do is more of a problem for your future self to worry about than today. You also tell yourself that you will know how to do it better later or have more time than you really do. Just like saying, “I will start my diet tomorrow.” A false sense of reality can easily set you behind. Just because it’s the future doesn’t mean things will automatically improve or be less of a problem later on.

Chapter #1: PLR – Definition and Uses

This course exhibits the power of PLR material and the benefits you can get from it. It is a comprehensive course showing how to become proficient and profitable with PLR products. The methods used in this course come from experience and actual teachings to ensure that everything taught here are feasible. Now, let us get started.

1) What is PLR About?

Simply put, PLR material is content, which you can utilize as if you were the one who created it. In truth, another individual has done every task, making your job easier specifically in establishing and marketing information necessary in selling a product or service online.

2) Uses of PLR Material

Most often than not, PLR material or content includes a Word document, which you can revise, edit, or reorganize depending on your preference. You then put your name on it to make it appear you worked on it yourself. You can also obtain a graphics package that includes “raw” files or PSD. This package can also be edited so you can put your name on the product. In addition, PLR material or content can be used in creating content for your blogs, newsletters, and websites. It can also be an exceptional research or reference material. You can repackage the PLR material or content into a physical product, a video/audio series, or any other way you can imagine.

3) Types of PLR Material

PLR material is mostly in the form of a Word document, which you can revise or edit. On the other hand, it can also be in the form of other products such as video sales templates, scripts, graphics packages, article packages, software products, or just about anything with the source code.

Although PLR material is commonly used in Internet marketing, many companies are also providing PLR products to merchandisers, supermarkets, and various stores. You usually see supermarkets having the own brand of food products. These supermarkets make use of PLR material for establishing their own line or label.

4) Choosing the Best Types of PLR Material

Typically, you may want to choose a PLR material that has no restriction rights. This simply implies choosing PLR material in which you can do anything. You only have to choose the right PLR material that will not implicate any issue or complication in the future such as copyright matters. As such, you have to search for PLR material with unrestricted rights to avoid hurdles upon using it.

5) Restrictions of PLR Material

The most common restriction found in PLR material is not being allowed to label it as your own. Others would not allow you to add the PLR product to auction sites, membership sites, or giveaway events among others. The creators of such PLR material does more harm than good for you even if they appear to be helping through their restrictions on product distribution. The essence of an unrestricted PLR material is to allow users to make the product as their own and be able to do anything with it.

Chapter #2: Common Mistakes in Using PLR Material

Many people who have not become successful in their use of PLR material say that it is just a waste of time. This is the usual case with people doing things wrongly with PLR material. Thus, it is just right to discuss the most common mistakes people do when harnessing the capability of PLR material so you can avoid committing the same mistakes.

Mistake 1: Not Putting Your Stamp on the PLR Product to Make it Your Own

Say, you chose a PLR material and decided to resell it as your own product. The first thing that you do is to put your label or name on it, upload it on the Web, and start marketing it. This is exactly the same mistake that 99% of sellers do; thus, they fail in using PLR material. The basic goal when using PLR material is being able to stand out from the rest of the sellers. You can do this by renaming and revising your product as well as your sales page. Get new graphics to give the product a fresh look.

Mistake 2: Using or Creating Poor Quality Graphics on PLR Material

Although it is just natural for you to provide graphics on your PLR product, you do not want to use them for the same reason mentioned above. The key is to stand out from the rest and you can do that by changing or creating new graphics. On the other hand, it is not for you to judge whether you have created an appropriate set of graphics for the product but your target market. Simply stated, you will know if your graphics are good if they appeal to your target market. Thus, it is much safer to let a professional graphics designer to the job. You would not want to have an equation that says:

Poor graphics = not-so-impressive product

Instead, you want to end up with:

Professional graphics = impressive and professional-looking product

Mistake 3: Unable to Create an Affiliate Program

You should not stop exerting your efforts on making your PLR product stand out; rather, you should extend your efforts on recruiting affiliates to aid you in selling your product. It is more preferable to use ClickBank for your affiliate program. Many people put a PayPal button on their pages while attempting to sell as many copies of their product as they can themselves. This simply leads to the next mistake.

Mistake 4: Not Being Able to Provide Your Affiliates with Needed Tools

This is one of the most common mistakes among marketers. Once you establish an affiliate program, you should provide the necessary tools that your affiliates need in order to promote your products efficiently. These tools include product reviews, forum signatures, email signatures, email copy, graphics, and blog posts among others. If you can provide as many tools as you can, the better for your affiliates to promote your products. Otherwise, if you do not have access to any affiliate tool, it is mostly likely that you will fail to promote your products competently.

Mistake 5: Not Being Able to Build a List from Your Efforts

In any online effort, list building is an integral part of success. You can build three lists from each PLR product released. These include a prospect list, a customer list, and an affiliate list. More so, if you have an affiliate program, you can benefit from the efforts of others. As such, you should include an opt-in form on each page that you create.

Mistake 6: Not Being Able to Build a List from Your Efforts

This is not a typographical error. It is just worth mentioning again and again because it is probably the most substantial thing you need to do that is why you should make sure to build lists.

Introduction

Making a living as a blogger has to be one of the sweetest gigs out there.

As a blogger, you’ll be able to earn passive income which means that your money will flow in even as you’re sleeping, travelling or relaxing with friends. You’re no long trading time for income and this is the point you need to get to if you want to really be free and financially independent (even being self-employed with clients is still pretty much like having a job).

What’s more, blogging means you get to earn that money by writing on a topic that you find fascinating and you even get to become something of a minor celebrity in your chosen niche. You can earn a lot of money here too – if a blog takes off and becomes really successful then in theory you can earn thousands a day. It’s incredibly scalable and there’s no ‘upper limit’ for what you can achieve.

What’s the downside? It’s not easy. This is all about working hard and smart now so that you can reap the benefits later. Too many people approach blogging in the wrong way, thinking that they can just write a few posts on a semi-regular basis and that that will be enough to ensure their success. Chapter 01 - Picking Your Niche

For those not down with the lingo yet, a ‘niche’ basically means a subject or a topic. This is the area of interest that your website is going to focus on and it’s what you’ll be writing about on a daily basis for your blog posts.

This might sound like an easy job – but picking your niche is actually something you should consider very carefully. Getting this right can make your life a lot easier, while choosing poorly can make it almost impossible to achieve the success you’re looking for.

Here we will look at some considerations that you need to bear in mind when picking your niche.

A Topic You Enjoy

Tip number one is to always choose a niche that you enjoy reading and writing about. Blogging is not a ‘small’ job by any stretch of the imagination. Remember when we said it would essentially need to become your full-time career if you wanted to be very successful? Well then you have to ask yourself – is this something you will be happy to write about on a regular basis?

Writing will also come a lot easier if you’re well-versed in the subject. You’ll need to do less research and at the same time, you’ll find it much easier to come up with new interesting topics that people who like the subject will be interested in. What’s more, your passion will come across in the content and people will be much more inclined to read more of what you have to say as a result.

Time has been considered as one of the most essential things in one’s life. Without it, the society must be in great trouble these days. That is why many people try to engage in proper time management.

Time management is considered as the most essential part of becoming a successful employee, student, or a person as a whole. Before you continue reading, think about this, what do you do every day so as to be efficient in managing your own time? Have you experienced middling about other tasks on the day while working in the mid of a certain task? Do you experience combining two different tasks together successfully or unsuccessfully? Do you find yourself thinking about the things you should have conducted today while lying on your bed? If so, it could be a good sign because at least you are aware of your own time.

Hence, what is really time management? Simple, it is actually the art of being aware of the tasks within the given day and allocating your time in such a way that you will be able to effectively and logically accomplish all your tasks as well as your individual activities.

There are a number of levels to time management that you have to tackle. You can say that you are an efficient time manager if you are able to handle an unpredicted task that is not included in your predetermined schedule of the day. This is exactly where the true time management enters the scene and is something you must learn about.

However, for now, a simple way towards the creation of an efficient schedule can be taking a single day of a week, preferably one weekend day in order to take a seat with yourself for at least one or more hours and

design your schedule for the whole week. As you do this, you will need to note down the tasks you have daily and allocate the amount of time required in order for you to have them accomplished. Do not fool yourself by including the impossible. Make sure that the schedule you have created applies to reality. You may imagine the way it would work in your mind as you go about the creation of the schedule.

Chapter 02 - Treating Others with Love and Respect

Synopsis

“Respect was invented to cover the empty place where love should be.” –

Leo Tolstoy in Anna Karenina

Giving quality time to your loved ones simply shows how much you love them. Time is something that is considered very important in relationships. If you give some of your time to them, even with your busy day to day living, it should let them feel your love to them, showing how much you respect your relationship. This only means that quality time allows the establishment of good rapport.

The Best Way to Show Your Love and Respect with Others

Showing your love and respect to other people is an essential part of keeping significant personal relationships. Learning to respect the abilities, quirks, abilities, opinions and efforts of other people should benefit you in return, as it will keep you successful and happy with your interpersonal life.

Giving respect to yourself may also assist you in moving forward complemented with confidence so as to create the routine of respect and have it shared with other people who surround you.

As you show a person that you respect him, you also display your love to him. If you respect a person, you will listen to what he says harder. As you may know, proactive listening must be your initial social skill. You should know this because you certainly love people who listen to you. Hence, it will be safe to think that others also love it whenever you listen to them.

Being considerate is another way you can show your respect to others. Once you have listened, it is then the time to do the action accordingly. When there is something about the body language and the voice tone of the person that gave a clue of how they feel, make use of that data in your contact.

Keeping your promise can be another way to display how much you respect others. As you keep your word with someone, this does not only display you as a person with integrity, yet it will also make that someone feel like you truly value them.

Time also plays a significant role in showing your respect to others. Being on time must entail that you respect them. By treating someone’s time as

valuable, you simply show them your respect. Be punctual and respect to others should follow, which may even give you their respect in return.

Show some manners. If you respect a person, of course, you will show him the respect you think he deserves. Never be an interruption in a conversation. Make sure to be polite and observe your “thank you” and “please”. By showing good manners to someone, you should make him feel valuable.

Respect and love are generally connected, so if you love someone you will show him respect and give him your time he simply deserves.

Chapter 01 - What is Stress and How Does it Damage You?

We all know that stress is bad for us and this is something we get told very often. However, it’s all too easy to write this off as being a minor nuisance or frustration rather than anything to really worry about. We all get stressed from time to time, right?

In reality though, this is the wrong way to think about stress. While it is fairly common place, that is not to say that it isn’t serious. In fact, stress is incredibly serious and can cause severe problems both in the short term and long term.

Stress can shorten your lifespan. Ruin your enjoyment. Cause serious illness. Shrink your brain. Hurt your performance. Ruin your relationships. Cause impotence.

Do those sound like small matters?

To understand this better, it can help to look more closely at what precisely stress is. How it causes the problems it does and how and why you need to do everything you can to prevent and reduce it.

So What Exactly is Stress?

Stress is what we feel when we’re overworked, when we’re dreading something that’s about to happen or when we’re generally unable to relax and stay calm due to outside or inside factors influencing our thoughts.

But it actually goes beyond this. Stress is a basic physiological reaction that is designed to help us focus and survive. In itself it is not a bad thing and is actually rather adaptive. The problem is that it has been taken out of context, which means the positive effects become outweighed by the negative.

Essentially, stress is what causes the ‘fight or flight response’. This is a physiological response to perceived danger, designed to improve our chances of survival. If you were to see a lion for example, this would trigger a cascade of effects collectively resulting in the stress response.

This begins when we observe danger or experience fear. Increased activity in our brain, causes the release of adrenaline, as well as dopamine, norepinephrine and cortisol – our stress hormones. These then trigger a number of physiological changes: increasing our heartrate, making us breathe more quickly and making us more acutely focussed on the potential threat.

A list of the symptoms should include:

Increased heartrate
Rapid, shallow breathing
Muscle contraction
Tunnel vision
Heightened sensitivity
Increased blood viscosity
Suppression of the pain response
Suppression of the immune system
Suppression of the digestive system
Dilation of the pupils
Dilation of the blood vessels
Reduction in prefrontal cortex activity (temporo-hypofrontality)

In the short term, this is good for us. In the short term, these things help us to evade danger and win combative situations. Increased muscle tension makes us stronger. Increased blood viscosity makes our blood more likely to clot in case of an injury. Dilated pupils let more light in to improve our vision. Suppression of secondary functions means that more blood can be sent to the muscles and the brain. Reduced pain means we can carry on fighting or running despite injury.

In short, anything that can help you to survive is prioritized, while secondary functions are suppressed. The idea is that once we get to safety, we can then turn off this fight or flight response and instead enter the ‘rest and digest’ state in order to recover. Once the predator is gone, we can recover.

But the problem is that in our modern environments, predators aren’t the main problem. It’s rare these days for us to be chased, to get into a fight or to need to escape a forest fire.

What’s not so rare, is for our boss to shout at us and to tell us that we’re late for our deadline. It’s not rare for us to be in debt. It’s not rare for us to have marital problems.

And unfortunately, the brain interprets all these signals in just the same way: as threats. And this causes the same fight or flight response. But because these types of threats aren’t so easily resolved, this means we’ll often end up on heightened alert for a longer period of time.

This is also why stress causes impotence in men. If you are highly stressed, blood is sent everywhere except the genitals!

And this takes a tremendous toll on our bodies.

As you might imagine: it is not good for you when your immune system and digestive system are suppressed for days. It’s also not good for your brain to be flooded with norepinephrine and cortisol. It’s not good for your heartrate to stay elevated, or your blood pressure to stay high.

This is the problem with chronic stress as opposed to acute stress. And it’s the problem with heightened levels of stress, as opposed to the gentle, motivating force of ‘eustress’. We’ll look at all of this more in the long term, but suffice to say that the longer stress like this continues, the more you start to feel drained, malnourished, fatigued, ill and possibly eventually depressed.

How Stress Damages the Brain

When we are stressed, it effectively makes us less intelligent. This is due to the reduction in pre-frontal activity, which in turn is designed to make us more focussed and alert. Essentially, the pre-frontal cortex is the part of the brain responsible for forward planning, creative thinking and other ‘high-order’ brain activity.

When you are being chased by a lion though, it is really not the time to be thinking about the meaning of life!

So shutting down this part of the brain and placing your focus on feedback from your senses makes much more sense.

Of course that’s not particularly useful in the workplace though: and this is why the stress response is so seriously unhelpful when we have to give a presentation, answer a question on the spot or go on a date. This is when we lose all articulation and start stammering and saying useless things.

Slightly longer-term is adrenal fatigue. This is what happens when your brain has exhausted its supply of adrenaline and other stress
hormones. That might sound like a good thing but you actually need a little norepinephrine, dopamine and cortisol to stay motivated – and even to wake up in the morning! Adrenal fatigue leaves you listless, demotivated and potentially depressed. It can also cause what is known as ‘learned helplessness’ – a condition where you essentially completely give up because your brain has been conditioned to learn that any attempts to change its situation will be met with failure. Not good!
