What Is Stress And How Can We Avoid It PLR Ebook

Sample Content Preview

Everybody deals with stress in their own way. Some people decide to cower away and cry in a corner, others try to fight their way through any stressful situations, while some just tend to freeze and bottle everything inside until it bursts out like a balloon that’s been inflated too much and can’t handle the pressure anymore. Regardless of how you deal with this sort of a situation, what you need to understand is that when you are stressed, and your body immediately forces itself into making the right decision to escape the situation unharmed.

For example, people that choose the “fight” option tend to have their blood rushed to their muscles ready for any response, which is where the “red-faced reaction” comes from. On the other hand, the people that are not used to fighting it out with whoever’s causing the disturbance will most likely end up having most of their bodily functions shut down, causing them to freeze immediately and not be able to say or do anything.

We’ve all had to face off against unpleasant situations, and that’s a fact. Whether it be someone annoying you and making your day harder or just a series of unfortunate events that seem to imply that God has it in for you, it always sparks that little match inside of you that causes you to feel that unpleasant sensation fill your whole body making you see only red in front of your eyes. But hey, that’s not what we’re here to focus on today. No, we’re here in order to help you get past those unfortunate events and function properly for the rest of the day. Regardless of what you’re going through, this article will help you cope with this better, making sure that you know exactly how to escape any uncomfortable situation by simply preventing them from ever happening in the first place. So, without further ado, let’s start this article right with the easiest way to avoid being stressed out, aka:

“Talk with Someone”

You most likely knew that this was coming, but alas, it is one of the most effective ways of dealing with stress accumulation. Whether this is a friend, a family member or a psychologist, it doesn’t matter in the slightest. The only thing that matters is that you know someone that will listen to all of your problems and offer up a shoulder for you to lay on in your times of need.

Regardless of who you are or what kind of a person you think you are, you need to understand the fact that we all fall on our knees every now and then and need a pick-me-up. This has nothing to do with preserving your image or stroking that ego, it is a necessity. Forget about being the “cool guy that doesn’t need help” for a moment and think about your sanity for once. Believe us when we tell you that this is no laughing matter and that you’ll have to deal with it sooner than later.

This is another pretty basic one that you should concentrate on, but alas, it is very useful since most of the time our mood is dictated by the amount of sleep that we get, so don’t slack off! You need to get those 6 hours of sleep at any cost. If you can, you need to strive for 8 hours per night, but alas, most of us can’t really do that, which is why 6 hours is a much more achievable goal. Any sane doctor out there will tell you that sleep is imperative to your mental health. Without a good 6-8 hours of sleep you are literally unable to function as a human being anymore.

“Help Those Around You”

This is a very important step as it helps you forget about your own problems for a second and focus on those around you. This also makes people around you like you more which is definitely great for stress reduction as a whole. So, next time that you see someone drop something to the ground, or whenever you see someone dealing with a lot of stress themselves give them a meaningful gift that can help them get past their problems easier. Whatever it is, as long as you know what you’re getting yourself into, you should be able to accomplish your mission in no time.

“Keep That Positive Mindset At All Times”

Regardless of what you might be facing off against mentally, you need to make sure that you always keep that positive mindset. Keep that smile on your face and carry on like there’s no tomorrow. This is a very good mentality to have since most of the time the placebo effect takes place if we force it enough that it even affects us mentally before we know it. A good way to maintain a positive mindset is to listen to calming music on a daily basis. Luckily, there are plenty of playlists on YouTube and Spotify that you can use to help keep that smile on your face.

Alternatively, you can also listen to some calming podcasts that will make your day easier to get through. There are plenty of podcasts that you can listen to if you are in a bad mood and need a good pick-me-up.

Working at Home? Time is of the Essence!

I?ve heard people say that the main reason that they want to work at home is because they can work only when they want to work. It IS true that you can set your own work hours when you work at home but it does NOT mean that you don?t have to have set work hours.

A „hit or miss? work schedule…or rather, the lack of any work schedule at all, simply will not work. Time is of the Essence! YOUR time!

Working at home can be a very, very good thing. You can be at home to see the kids off to school and be at home when they get home. You can put a load of laundry in and it can run through the cycles while you are working.

You can have dinner cooked before a hungry family descends like a flock of hungry buzzards. All of those things are real perks that you automatically get when you work at home.

Working at home can also be a very, very bad thing if you do not plan your time well and if you do not set up a work schedule that you and your family can live with. When you work at home, time really is of the essence.

You must make very good use of the time that you spend working. If you are not efficient in accomplishing the tasks that must be done, you will either spend too much time working or you will fail miserably at your work at home job or business.

You must set up a work schedule for yourself when you work at home and then you must enforce that work schedule for yourself and insist that you family and friends also adhere to your work schedule.

A job out in the brick and mortar world does two things; (1) It provides a structure for your day and (2) it tells your family and friends that your time is spoken for during your working hours. You will notice that both of these things that a regular job provides both relate to your TIME.

First let?s discuss the structure that a regular job provides and how you can apply that structure to your work at home job or business. When you have a job that you go to outside your home, you are required to be at that job at a specified time on specified days of the week.

When you have a work at home job or business, you need that same kind of structure. You need to set regular working hours. The freedom that a work at home job provides is that you can choose the hours…but you do have to choose!

Now let?s talk about your family and friends and how they are going to view your work at home job. It is a strange but very true fact that your dear mother would not DREAM of calling you at your „real? job and asking you to drive Aunt Rosie to the beauty shop and wait for her….after all….you are WORKING and can?t be expected to leave your job to run errands. Right?

That very same considerate mother WILL call you and ask you to take Aunt Rosie to the beauty shop and wait for her when you are working at home. Why? Because you are at home and available, that?s why.

Your dear, sweet mother will not see your work at home job as a „real? job. Your spouse will also see you as being free to run errands. Your friends will see you as being available for long telephone conversations, lunch or for a coffee klatch.

You can see the problem. If YOU do not schedule your time and abide by your schedule yourself, others will not. Unless you see your work at home job as a REAL job with REAL working hours, your time will be eaten up. You will not accomplish the tasks that you need to accomplish.

You will fail and find yourself out looking for a REAL job unless you see your work at home job as the REAL THING with regular working hours that make you unavailable for other activities.

The best way to accomplish using your time to your own best advantage with your work at home job or business is to make a schedule and tell your family and friends what that schedule is.

You don?t have to be rude but you do have to be firm. Make it clear to all. “I will be working between 9 AM and 3 PM Monday through Friday. On those days and during those hours, I am NOT available to run errands or take personal phone calls or entertain company.” Then stick to it!

Wise Time Management Tips for Work-at-Home Entrepreneurs

Time for work-at-home entrepreneurs is their single most valuable asset. Nothing can replace time…valuable, precious time!

No matter how rich or poor you are, no matter how many things are on your „to-do? list, you still just get the regulation twenty-four hours each day. Sometimes I could use another twenty-four but that isn?t going to happen. I?ll bet that you could use more hours in your work day, as well.

What is Resell Rights and How You Can Build a Profitable Business With It

The Internet has emerged as one of the major ways in which one can make money easily. Though one must always beware of all the spurious sites that crop up from time to time, the Internet if used in a wise manner for earning money can actually prove to be quite an effective tool. This also involves the resale rights of product. This is nothing but a license over the product that you have bought.

This license allows you to modify and improvise the product in any way you want to. Ordinarily, if you want to sell a product you will have to place the description and picture of your product and create a good and impressive sale page for it. However with products that have resale rights, you need not do this. You merely have to buy the product with its resale rights and then place it on your website.

You can do this in either of the two ways mentioned below:

1. Purchasing the products as well as the resale rights completely so that you can get total portion of your profit share to yourself

2. Selling the rights that you have just purchased to someone else who in turn can resell that product

The following will tell you about what the different kinds of resale rights do:

• Basic Resale Rights: This is the one time resale right, that is to say that the person who buys the product with the basic resale right, cannot in turn sell that product to someone else because that customer loses the resale right on purchasing the product.

• Private Label Rights: This basically gives the owner of the product the right to do anything that he or she wishes to do to the product. They can inscribe their
name on the product, or make changes to the product. They can keep it with themselves for as long as they want, or sell it for a profit.

Many Internet businesses rely heavily upon such products with a resale right. The ownership of such products not only helps you to start your Internet business in a effective manner but also play a major role in building the Internet business.

Once you have the resale rights to a product, you can do whatever you like with that product. In a certain sense, the destiny of that product (and hence of your Internet business) is in your hands.

There is a lot of flexibly if you own the resale rights to a product. You do not get this kind of flexibility when you purchase ordinary products.

Here are the things that you should know about resale rights and the business related to it:

• Creating a business out of private reselling rights does not require the businessman to create a product each time. Having the resale rights t that product he can actually recreate the product the way he wants. It just means that one has to modify and improvise on the product according to his needs and the kind of demand he gets. This is indeed a very flexible way to do business.

• What the businessman who has acquired the resale rights of the product needs to do is merely place the product on his website with a new and improvised product description. He will not have to go about making the sale page right from the scratch. The basic information about the product has already been given to him. The changes that he makes to the product, he needs to update only that.

• An attractive picture of the product needs to be provided. Either the original image can be used or else another image can be created depending on the businessman’s preference. Make your image of as good a quality as possible in a popular and easily downloadable format. You will not need to have a very flashy picture. But make sure you have something that clearly defines your product and supports the description in text.

• Create a proper page on which to host the product description and its graphical representation. You need to make this page attractive. Remember that many visitors have come to your site via another site. And therefore, it is all the more important that you make your page especially attractive since there is a tendency of people moving on to another link within 20 seconds. Therefore, if they find anything catchy on your page, they will linger one. Otherwise, they will move one.

The Types of Resell Rights

While some people know exactly what resell right are, some have a very vague idea about it. There are so many different kinds of resell rights that any marketer will be bewildered at the time of either creating his own product with resale rights or to work with a product which already exists. Even though this is not a very simple topic, we will try to explain this as easily as possible in this article.

The products with resale rights come in a variety of sizes and shapes. There are a large number of products bundled all together and then sold for a very low price. Or else, there is a single product which is sold for a very high price, say a four figure price. Apart from these, there are the several varieties of resale rights already mentioned.

To begin with, there are the simple resale rights. These simply give you the right to sell your product and offer nothing else. This basic resale right will not allow you to claim that the product is your own nor can you give someone else the resale rights for this particular product.

These rights are generally the cheapest rights you can get, and they make it much simpler to get into the black. In a lot of cases, these rights are free, but they usually have a fixed price and terms of sale.

Tenderfoot Education in Real EstateInvesting 101

Back in the days of the wild, Wild West, when easterners traveled across this vast country looking for opportunity in the newly opened territories, they were often referred to as a „tenderfoot?.

This wasn?t a complimentary term but it was a rather apt one. The easterners wore „city? shoes that weren?t designed to withstand the rigors of the western terrain. Their hats didn?t have wide brims to protect them from the sun and their clothing wasn?t made of tough material like denim.

These new westerners didn?t know how to take care of themselves and because they didn?t know where and what the dangers were they didn?t have any idea how to avoid them. If you are just beginning to consider the idea of investing in real estate you are a tenderfoot and you do need some instruction to avoid losing your shirt…and probably your pants, hat and boots, as well.

First you will need to determine what your strategy will be in real estate investing. Do you want to buy a property, fix it up and sell it quickly or do you want to buy a property, hold it and wait for the market to increase? Do you want to deal with renters? All of these questions are ones that you need to answer before you invest in any piece of real estate.

You will need to learn how to investigate the value of properties yourself. It isn?t fair to use the time of a real estate agent and have them show you property after property while you try to look for a good real estate investment.

There are several online sites that are helpful in determining the real value of real estate. DO NOT rely on tax values. They are not reliable and they are not accurate either. You can find a real estate agent that you can work with and you can find recommendations for such agents online.

After you have learned how to determine property values yourself and have chosen a real estate agent that you can work with, the next thing that you need is a good broker

that you can also work with. Ask your real estate agent for the names of three mortgage brokers.

Then you will need to find out what interest rates and closing costs each one charges. (Check out your local bank or credit union as well). Take copies of your three credit reports and choose a sample property for each broker to run hard numbers on.

Now you are ready to actually make your first investment. You want to choose the lowest price house in the best possible neighborhood to put a contract on.

Let's say the cheapest two-bedroom house in the best neighborhood in Fort Wayne costs $100,000 and the next cheapest, comparable home is listed for $140,000. If you buy the home that is priced at $100,000, you can raise your price to $130,000 the next day and make a dandy little profit.

Now let?s talk about closing the deal. First show the seller your pre-qualification letter from your lender. Then get the required inspections for termites and get your appraisal. Once you have all of your „ducks in a row? so to speak, it takes about 30 days to make the final close.

A note here about any renovations or repairs that you might want to make to the property: Before you close, you might want to think about a Purchase and Renovate loan. A Purchase and Renovate loan wraps the cost of construction up in the loan so you don?t have many out-of-pocket expenses. This may require an estimate from a general contractor and plans from an architect as well.

Okay, now let?s go back to the first thing that you needed to do and that was to determine your strategy. Now is the time for you to execute that strategy that you have used to invest in this real estate. If you bought it with the strategy of flipping it when the market went up then you just simply wait.

If you bought it with the strategy of renovating and then selling then it is time to start your renovations. On the other hand, if you bought it with the strategy of renting it, it is time to start looking for tenants.

You see, the point of having a strategy for profiting from the purchase of any piece of real estate must be your first decision because everything that comes after that is dependent upon it.

Battle Your Fears PLR Ebook With Audio

Introduction

What are you scared of?

Everybody has some fears and worries – as humans, we’re programmed to feel fear as a natural response to threats in order to protect and look after ourselves.
But, what happens when your fears begin to take over? Fear can control your life and keep you from following your dreams, prevent you from taking risks, and stop you from living the life that you want and doing the things which you desire.

But…

It doesn’t have to be this way! Fear can hold many people back, and one of the biggest mistakes that you might be making right now is taking your fear at face value.
What you need to understand is that fear can be both real or imagined, and it’s hard for your body and brain to differentiate between the two. Let’s look at two different situations to put this in perspective.

Imagine that there’s an angry bull racing towards you, and you’re wearing a red t-shirt. This would be real fear. You have every reason to be scared if you’re being charged at by a furious horned animal!

Now, imagine that you’ve just turned the lights off after watching a particu-larly scary horror movie. You know that you’re absolutely safe in your home, but you still can’t shift that nauseous feeling in your gut when you think about some of the scenes from the movie. This fear is imagined.

Fear can be a product of two different things – it’s either due to reality, or a product of your imagination. In general, real fear will be felt by both you and others around you, and imagined fear will be personal to you alone. Imag-ined fear is generated by your beliefs and individual perspective of the world, which is why some people have fears which are completely incom-prehensible to others.

For example, a person who fell into a lake as a small child may have a fear of water even into adulthood, whilst somebody who’s never had a scary experience with water could be a professional swimmer with absolutely no fear of scuba diving in the sea. This is because water in and of itself isn’t something to be fearful of, but your personal experience could make it scary for you.

In general, the fears which hold us back are these imagined fears which are personal to each and every one of us. Just because they’re imagined, however, doesn’t mean that they’re not real – they certainly feel very real to the person who is feeling them.

Conquering the fears which are holding you back relies on you getting down to the source. Discovering what causes your fears is key to facing them head on and taking control of your own life and happiness. Figuring out what you need to do to push your fears out of your life and no longer allow them to hold you back will involve putting everything into perspective and sifting out the irrational fears from the rational ones.

Once you know where it is that your fears come from and how to deal with them, you’ll become a braver and stronger person. Fear and anxiety can severely hold you back, and taking the steps to gain control over them and no longer allow them to rule your life is a process which will take time, effort and patience – but it will all be worth it in the end.

In this book, you’ll learn how to:

Identify the causes of your fears;
Determine which fears are rational and which are not;
Swap your negative thoughts for positive ones;
Challenge yourself to take risks;
Use imagery to alleviate your fears;
Use talking therapy to help you control your emotions, and
Practice daily meditation to reduce stress.

Many fears are a product of your own mind, whether it be going to the den-tist, flying in a plane, or public speaking. Some fears are caused by a bad or even traumatic past experience, whilst others can be the product of in-fluence from other people.

However, no matter how your fears were established, conquering them is entirely possible when you use the right steps and strategies.

Before you begin, it’s vital to understand that you will need to be patient with yourself. Fear is an extremely strong emotion, and the ‘fight or flight’ response generated by chemicals and hormones in the body can lead to different physical responses which can make facing and conquering your fears extremely difficult.

When you decide to conquer your fears, you need to be aware of what this entails – at some point, you will need to face them. Although the prospect of this is initially terrifying for many, by the time you are ready it won’t seem quite as bad. This is why it’s important to be patient with yourself and re-solve to take small steps towards achieving your goal of fearlessness.

Being kind to yourself is crucial when you are learning to conquer your fears, although you’ll need to get a healthy balance between self-care and self-motivation. Finding the balance between the two will involve changing your mind-set to include more confidence in yourself and a kinder attitude towards yourself and your feelings. Many of us beat ourselves up for feel-ing fears that we deem irrational; it’s crucial that you stop doing this and in-stead accept your fears rather than trying to fight them.

Accepting your fears is the crucial first step that you will need to take before trying any of the following strategies. Fighting a mental battle against your-self and your fears can make it significantly more difficult to gain any posi-tive benefits from any of these strategies, which is why learning to be ac-cepting is key. Learning to accept your fears can even create a sense of calm and positivity which you can’t gain from fighting them.

Take a deep breath, and tell yourself that you accept all of your fears – even the ones that you think are silly. Repeat this process as many times as you need throughout your journey to fearlessness!

I know a guy who has generated more than $500 of commissions completely on autopilot! And this isn’t one of the best examples because viral marketing traffic can make you rich if you do it right!

In this book, we will briefly explore the following techniques:

• The concept behind viral marketing
• Tell a friend viral marketing
• Master Resell Rights Viral marketing
• Private Label Viral marketing
• Blog & Theme Viral marketing
• Web 2.0 Viral marketing
• Viral Spiral marketing

We will look at these concepts one by one and you will know how to find a method that you can utilize (or use ALL of them if you like) to build your campaigns.
Let’s get started right now!

Note: (Results may differ from person to person and it all depends on how hard you work!)

Chapter 2: Why Viral Marketing?

Here are a few reasons why viral marketing is very important!

Leverage On Other People’s List

Internet marketing gurus always talk about building your mailing list. Mailing lists are important because it is true that the money is always in the list.

Most of the time, some Internet marketers will beg other marketers (especially those with a bigger list size) to promote their products, do an ad swap or help them to build their own lists in general.

But what if, instead of relying on YOUR OWN LIST, you can LEVERAGE on other people’s list?

You see, in Internet marketing, there is always someone who has a biggest list size than you. These people will always want to sell products.

If you can create products (such as master resell rights or no restriction private label rights products) and give them the rights to sell YOUR products with YOUR ads in it, you will be getting constant advertising for FREE and people are doing it WILLINGLY for you!

After all, when you promote a product to your list, it is still limited in the sense that you can only mail your list once or twice, but having your products being promoted all over the Internet, will take the burden off the lists and give you additional streams of income.

The Power Of Exponential Growth

Many people neglect the power of viral marketing because they have this misconception that it yields very little at the start. They feel that they would rather promote their products by themselves rather than share the product with other resellers.

The same applies with blog posts. (See the chapter on blogs and themes below).

Let’s do a little math.

Would you rather make $100,000 a month or make build a campaign that doubles in revenue starting at $0.01 a day for every next day?

1 ??2 ??4 ??8 ??16 ?32 ??64 ??128 ??256 ?512 ……… MILLIONS!

The power of exponential growth tells us that you will become a millionaire after almost 30 days! (2 to the power of 30!!!)

Do you see the power of viral marketing?

Whether you are getting one new subscriber a day or one sale a day, you will be able to generate lots of traffic just by viral marketing alone!

Now to be realistic, even with the UNLIMITED growth potential on the Internet, there will come a time where there is a saturation point. But it still doesn’t dispute the fact that there are millions of customers (and many resellers) that will market for you and expand your efforts FOR YOU!

It is always a good idea to build several viral marketing channels. That way, even when your viral campaign starts to slow down (due to saturation), you will still be able to leverage on many channels and build your list or your affiliate commissions.

In the subsequent chapters, we will explore a few tools, both free and paid sources that will enable you to build several viral campaigns and watch as traffic beats a path to your virtual doorstep!

Chapter 3: Tell A Friend Viral Marketing

One of the easiest forms of viral marketing is by telling a friend.

You see, telling a friend will work under three conditions:

• The sender has something to benefit from it
• The receiver has something to benefit from it
• The method of sending the product is EASY TO FACILITATE!

With Mike Filsaime’s Viral Friend Generator, you are able to get at least three new impressions should the subscriber decide to tell a friend in exchange for a gift.
Does it meet the three requirements above? Let’s see how it works…

Why Do So Many Internet Startups Fail Today?

Everyday out there in the real brick and mortar world, millions and millions of people drag themselves from the warm, warm beds, take a shower, grab a cup of coffee, and head off to their jobs as they are thinking that there has got to be an easier way to make a living.

Every one of those millions and millions of people knows somebody who has quit the „get-up-and-go-to-work? grind and is making a very good living by working on their personal computers from the comfort of their own homes.

Working from home sounds like an ideal solution to them. Many of these dissatisfied souls will quit their jobs and plunge head-first into internet marketing with no preparation, no knowledge of what they are doing, no education, and no hope of success. Failure is their only option and they don?t even suspect.

The fact is that according to many sources, more than 90% (Ninety percent) of all Internet business start-ups end in failure within the first 120 (one hundred twenty) days. Yes, you read that right. NINETY PERCENT!

This failure rate should be a warning to those who are considering trying their hand at making a go of working on the Internet rather than at a job in the brick and mortar world.

Of course, success is possible. There IS that other 10% (ten percent) that do succeed. The thing is success doesn?t happen by accident. And success isn?t just a crap shoot. Success happens because of some very important factors.

Success happens because people have the right ideas about internet marketing and how it works. They do not expect to get rich quick or be able to make a killing over night and retire to a tropical isle.

It is strange but some how the same people who wouldn?t dream of starting a real world business, think they can make a go of an internet business even though they have no business background.

People will go into an internet business with the idea that they no longer have to get up and go to work. They think they can simply work when the feel like it and still make a good living. They simply do not expect to have to work hard or work long hours.

Wrong Perceptions about the Internet

The 90% failure rate of new Internet businesses really isn?t all that surprising when you stop to think about the people who are starting internet businesses.
For some unknown reason most people think that running a successful internet business is as easy as getting a website built and hanging out an „open for business? sign. They couldn?t be more wrong.

Running a successful internet business of any kind requires self-discipline. People will start an internet business and think that they can party all night, sleep until noon and then make a living in 3 or 4 hours sitting in front of a computer.

They some how think that the world is just going to line up on their website and hand over money. It isn?t going to happen.

Internet businesses do not run on auto-pilot. It is true that well established internet marketing gurus do not have to put in long, tedious hours on their businesses but it is a privilege that that has been earned by putting in a lot of long and tedious hours.

It didn?t happen overnight for them and it won?t happen over night for anybody. Most people are totally unprepared for the time investment that must be made in order for an internet business to become successful.

No Business Background

All businesses have two things in common. They are BUSINESSES and they must be run like businesses! The people who are in charge of a business need to understand the accepted practices of business.

They need to understand simple and basic ideas like acceptable over-head expenses in relation to projected income. Internet entrepreneurs need to understand profit and loss and what constitutes each.

A college degree in business in not essential for an internet business entrepreneur go be successful but it sure wouldn?t hurt. Just some basic business knowledge is absolutely vital.

List Building - Your Bread & Butter

“Bread and Butter!” That is what people say who are walking along and an obstacle comes between them. They release one another?s hand and walk on either side of the obstacle, then rejoin hands and say, “Bread and Butter”. It?s symbolic. Bread and butter belong together.

Another way the term „Bread and Butter? is used is to denote the main substance of an enterprise. “That trick is his „Bread and Butter? trick.” This means that it is the backbone of his act and that he depends on it and relies on it regularly to sustain him.

Both interpretations of the term „Bread and Butter? apply to list building and Internet Marketing. You just can?t have one without the other. You can?t separate the two because they belong together and, likewise; they are the sustaining part of an Internet marketers business.

List building is the first, most important and most constant of all the tasks that Internet marketers engage in. Their lists are their bread and butter and their lists and their businesses belong together. Neither can exist without the other.

You won?t have to wander around the Internet very long before you will find people saying that list building just isn?t important... and that it isn?t even necessary. Don?t you believe one word of that hooey... and that is precisely what it is... hooey!

That is without a doubt the worst Internet marketing advice that is available anywhere on the Internet... and there is lot of useless information out there. There is useless information but the idea of not building a list is just downright dangerous advice to follow. List building isn?t important... it is absolutely vital... it really is your bread and butter. Without a list, you are simply without a business.

The CAN SPAM act of 2003 made is illegal to send bulk marketing emails without the consent of the recipients. That is the law. The penalties for disobeying this law are tough! You can be fined up to $11,000 per unsolicited marketing email that you send!

It wouldn?t take but one to do a lot of damage and if you send hundreds, you?ll never get the fine paid off… at least not in just one lifetime. Do you NEED an opt-in list? YES! Your list is your bread and butter.

Now, let?s discuss ways in which one can go about building that bread and butter opt-in list. There are several ways that have been proven to be very effective list building techniques.

One way to build your bread and butter opt-in list is to write articles and submit them to article banks.

If you weren?t blessed with any writing ability at all or if you simply do not have the time to devote to writing articles, you can have articles written for you by ghostwriters or you can join a PLR site and download articles that will just need some rewriting to prevent them from being identified as duplicate content by search engine spiders. These articles need to be no longer than 300 to 400 words and they need to be keyword rich. Your resource box needs to include your name and a link to your website.

Another proven list building technique is to join and post to blogs and forums that are dedicated to a topic that relates to the products and services that you sell.
You must be careful not to post blatant advertisements on these sites. That’s a big no-no. You will need to post 3 to 5 times each and every week to these sites and you sig tag on your posts needs to be your name and a link to your website.

Exchanging links with websites that sell products and services that are complimentary to but not identical to the products and services that you sell is another way to build your bread and butter list.

Now, some marketers do not believe in link exchanges. They object to the idea of two way traffic and don?t think that a marketer should ever post a link that takes traffic away from his or her website. The key word, however, is TWO way. A link exchange also brings traffic to your website that you might not otherwise ever see and every person who visits your website is a potential customer or, at the very least, a possible addition to that bread and butter opt-in list.

Then there is paid advertising to consider for the purpose of list building.

A PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign is not free, of course, but if your list is greatly increased because of it then it will be money that has been well spent. PPC campaigns are very effective tools for list building... and more especially so if you can give something away for free. People do love „free?. Free reports... free utilities... free E-Books... if it?s free, it adds to your bread and butter opt-in list.

FREE REPORT!

How often do you see those words as you surf the Internet looking for information? About a bazillion? Everybody seems to be offering a free report about almost any and every subject under the sun now days. The question is, why? Why should anybody go to all of the work, trouble and effort to produce a report that is not going to be sold but be given away for free?

Ah! You see the point in NOT to sell the free report and make a bushel basket full of money from the sales. The entire point of a „free report? is to give people the report in exchange for their names and email addresses. Not that the report isn?t valuable... sometimes a report is and sometimes it?s just a bunch of hooey, but the names and email addresses of those who download these free reports are much more valuable than the report will ever be...even the good ones.

There are exactly two kinds of people who live and work on the Internet. There are those who are marketing gurus and those who are not. The latter number far exceeds the number of the former.

There are a few very, very, VERY savvy marketing gurus out there who know how to put together a „free? report and market it so effectively that it takes on a life of its own and continues to produce the desired results (list building if you haven?t already guessed) for weeks, months or even years after the free report is released.
Free reports are used by many Internet marketers as incentives to encourage people to join a mailing list. That is so common that it has almost become ineffective. These free reports that are offered as incentives to join mailing lists probably contain as much useful information as the kind that are marketed by these marketing geniuses. They just aren?t as effective at producing the desired list building effect.

Let me give you an example:

Mike Filsaime’s “Death of Internet Marketing” is a prime one. “Death of Internet Marketing” was a free report that was launched with a lot of fanfare. Mr. Filsaime PAID $1 for every lead that was produced by his “Death of Internet Marketing”. Yes, that?s what I said...he PAID. Now, if you were an Internet marketer with a list and you received an offer to be paid one dollar for each time a member of your list downloaded a FREE report, wouldn?t you jump on the bandwagon? Of course you would...everybody would...heck, everybody DID!

Now Mike Filsaime has some pretty deep pockets to be sure...we don?t all have those kinds of resources but his strategy was absolutely brilliant. He already had a mailing list of over 300,000 and I wouldn?t even hazard a guess at the number of names and email addresses that are now on his list. Every marketer that had a list that was even remotely interested in the free report sent it out in their newsletters. Don?t even think about the numbers, it?s just too mind boggling.

Actually, Mike Filsaime?s “Death of Internet Marketing” free report contains some very good information. The scare tactics used weren?t very appealing but the information was good. It wasn?t world shaking and it wasn?t anything that was really new. It was a well put together report and it was very well written.
Here is another example:

Rich Schefren’s “Internet Business Manifesto” is another free report that was really well marketed. As a matter of fact, Rich actually marketed the daylights out of his Internet Business Manifesto” And, marketing genius that he is, he later released it in three segments. The last release was called, “Internet Business Manifesto: The Final Chapter”. How is THAT for marketing genius in action?

Rich Schefren?s “Internet Business Manifesto” free report is another example of how to market a free report to gain the maximum desired benefit from it. This report is also well written. It contains plenty of useful information for new Internet marketers, as well as, for some who are well seasoned but there really wasn?t any new, world shaking information in it. Still, it was very effective and the desired result was achieved. He built his list to astounding proportions.

The free report list building technique isn?t limited to Internet marketers. It spills over into brick and mortar marketing as well...or maybe that?s where it started. Who knows? The lines between Internet marketing and Brick and Mortar Marketing have become a bit blurred over the years.

If you don?t believe me, go in search of nothing but „free marketing reports? using your favorite search engine. You?ll find free reports about all kinds of products and services. You will find free reports about marketing beverages, sports, music, B2B marketing and dozens of others. The point of these free reports is the same. The idea is to give valuable (?) information to a potential customer in exchange of his name and address or email address for the purpose of future marketing of products and services to him.

Chapter 1: Boosting Your Customer Engagement Online

Small businesses will often rely on their website for consumers to find them, so this is your opportunity to make a good impression with potential leads or returning customers. Therefore, you want to make sure that site keeps your visitors engaged and interested.

There are few brands that aren’t aware of the importance of being engaging on the web, but smaller companies often don’t believe they have the resources or time to be updating their websites on a more continuous basis with fresh and new content.

So what many small businesses do is create a Facebook page and forgo the website. There is no question that Facebook and other social media outlets are an excellent place to begin but if you want to gain the trust of your customer you need a website – it really is that important, because it shows that you have a company that is established.

You want to make sure that your website experience will match your customer service experience. We live in a world that is increasingly mobile and so consumers expect the same shopping experience online as they would get in your store. Therefore, it is a good idea to offer a seamless customer experience such as providing in-depth details on your products/services, purchasing information, easy contact, and a way for customers to quickly reach you such as live chat.

You should also personalize your site in a way that works for your business. Enhance your customer experience by tailoring your site to their needs. Don’t use flashy gimmicks. Use big data analytics to learn what it is your customer is looking for when they arrive at your site and then create an experience that pleases them.
Make sure you are using social media as a tool to communicate and engage with your customers online. Social media’s role has changed a lot in the last few years. Not only is it a way to share and promote your content from your site, it can be an extension in your customer service – a quick and easy way for your customers to contact and connect with you. You can also reach your customers quickly and in a very cost effective way, that costs only pennies per customer.

Engaging your customers online is no longer a novelty – something you can think about offering. It is what consumers want and if you aren’t providing it, you need to expect that they will look elsewhere.

Chapter 2: Customer Engagement – Why it is Important?

Customer engagement focuses on you encouraging your customers to share and interact with your company staff. It encouraged them to share their experiences and in return, what you create from them is your brand. When you execute this well, you will develop a solid customer engagement strategy that will promote loyalty and growth.

Those companies that focus on customer engagement focus on value creation rather than on extracting revenue. These companies are well aware of how to engage their customers online. They know how to provide them with real value whether they offer an superior end to end experience for their customer, exceptional content on their website, the best possible customer support and service, what they are doing is making sure they deliver more than just your typical sell. Incorporating these customer engagement strategies can be healthy for your business.

Remember Happy Customers are the Life of Your Business Obsess over your customers! It’s necessary to success! It begins with the culture you establish for your company and making sure that your support team is at the frontlines to make sure your customers are happy and their needs are addressed. Your entire company from top to bottom needs to share that providing an amazing customer experience is necessary for the key to your company’s success.

Think about how your company model can service your customers in the best way possible. What is it your customers need from you and when do your customers need you. What hours should you be available? Do you offer a seamless process for your customers?

Your customer experience allows you to offer you a way to increase your customer satisfaction and loyalty, which in turn leads to them advocating for you. Your company grows because you have happy customers. Companies that miss this may stick around for awhile but they will eventually falter.

It is much more difficult to continue to build new customers than it is to keep your current customers engaged and happy, and wanting to return to buy more products from you. Companies that actually value their customers and work hard at engaging them are wise companies and they are far more likely to be here a decade or two from now.

Your customer is the lifeblood of your business and it is important to ensure that all of your employees treat the customer with the importance that they deserve. What an interesting and engaging relationship one can build with their employees.
