1 You have to use OptinMonster to create a WordPress Popup plugin for your blog. Here is how to do it:

8 Configure your display rules as you want them and hit the green Save button.

Step #3: Go On And Publish It

9 After following all the steps mentioned above, hit the Publish button present at the top of the screen and wait until it turns Live.

10 Now select the Save button, and scroll down to Platform option and choose WordPress.

11 Hit the Go Live button from there and here is your popup button is ready and will appear on your website.

B) OPTIN BOX IN THE SIDEBAR

12 Use OptinMonster to create this sidebar. Open it, and create an inline campaign by tapping on Create campaign button.

13 After creating your campaign, you have to design your sidebar and publish it.

14 Now, go to WordPress Admin>OptinMonster>Campaigns tab view.

15 Sync your campaign with your site by selecting Refresh Campaign from there.

16 Now tap on Go Live link and your sidebar campaign will be visible there.

17 The final step here is to add OptinMonster Widget in the Admin section of your site. That’s it, your opt-in box in the sidebar has been created.

C) OPTIN BOX INSIDE THE CONTENT

18 First, you have to create an inline opt-in form by tapping on creating a campaign button in OptinMonster and then set its template, build your campaign and save it.

19 In the next step, go to the Publish tab and change your status from

pause to live, now scrolling down, and click on the Campaign Embed option. A code will appear, which can be copy-pasted to whichever location in content, you want your opt-in box to appear.

20 Now, create lead magnets for your campaign box by going to the edit section and clicking on the Display Rules.

21 Select current URL path and insert URL for your blog post there and hit the Save button. Now, this feature box will appear in the content of your blog post.

As the classroom is becoming more and more paperless, teachers have to start finding solutions to hand out assignments, manage their classroom, communicate with students, and so on.

A rapidly growing number of teachers are finding their way to Google Classroom. An ingenious virtual classroom that focusses less on tech and more on teaching. You don’t have to be a tech professional to handle this classroom.

In this post we will explain what Google Classroom is, and what you can or can’t do with it.

What is GC?

Google Classroom helps teachers and students to communicate and can be used to organize and manage assignments, to go paperless, for collaboration between students and between teachers, and so on! You could compare it with iTunes U, Showbie, and other online learning platforms.

It’s built on top of Google Docs and Google Drive, which means it’s very easy to use and intuitive for any teacher. But that doesn’t mean it’s boring. Google Classroom is full of surprises you’ll encounter along the way.

Things you can do with Google Classroom

So this is probably the most important question. Why would you use Google Classroom? What’s in it for you?

First of all, it’s completely free. You won’t have to upgrade to a pro version that will cost you some money. Yes, $0,00. Nothing. At. All.

After you’ve set up your classroom, you can get started. You’ll find out how to set up your Google classroom account in just a few minutes. Here’s a list of the things you can do with it:

- Add announcements and lesson material: Give your students announcements about your lesson. Add lesson materials in the announcements. That way, students

can find everything quickly. You can add materials from a Google drive, connected to that Google Classroom lesson, add files and images from your computer, add a YouTube video or add any other link you want your students to visit. You can add a BookWidgets exercise in just minutes. It’s that easy!

- Add assignments: Just like adding an announcement, you can add an assignment to your course. It works the same way, but here you get the option to add a due date. It will notify your students when they have to make an assignment and it will also appear in their Calendar.

- Grade an assignment: Afterwards, you can check and grade the assignments your students have handed in. There’s room for feedback via a teacher comment. Then, send the assignment back to your students.

- Manage students: Of course, your students have to be able to share comments. Or not? That’s completely up to you! You can manage permissions, giving students the ability to post and comment, only comment, or give only the teacher the ability to post and comment. You can even e-mail your students individually.

Things you can’t do with Google Classroom

There are a few things you should know before you start using Google Classroom with the wrong reasons. It’s an online learning platform, but it isn’t:

- A Chatbox: You can comment on assignments and announcements, but there’s no chat function. If you do want to be in direct contact with your students, you can send them an email, or you can enable other Google apps to take over that function.

- A Test or quiz tool: There are some possibilities when it comes to making quizzes in Google Classroom, but it’s still not meant to be a quiz tool. There are so many other good apps for that.

Option 1: You can add tests and assignments from other educational apps right inside Google Classroom, like for example, an BookWidgets test that gets automatically graded. Option 2: Here’s what you can do inside Google Classroom itself: Add a question. Then choose between an open answer or a multiple choice question. It’s best to choose the first option if you want to make your digital classroom more interactive.

- A discussion forum: You can make announcements, and students can really comment on them, but it’s not a great fit for discussions.

Setting up Google Classroom in 3 simple steps

This means Google Classroom must mean something to you. You’ll find it’s easy to set up and very intuitive to keep on using it. Follow these steps to set up your Google Classroom teacher account:

1. Sign up

When you go to classroom.google.com you can use Classroom by logging in using a G suite e-mail address or you can use it without “claiming” to use it for education. Everything works just fine that way too. It just harder to manage your students if you have hundreds of them. You’ll have to add them one by one.

2. Create your first class

Click on the “+” button in the right upper corner. Choose for “create a class”. Here, you fill in some detail information about your class. Write down a good class name and section. The class name should be the title of your class so you can find it back in a few seconds. Then click on “create”.

3. Invite students to your class

Once you have created your class, you can invite your students. Let them sign using the Google Classroom app by entering the unique code you gave them. You’ll find the code in your created class. Go to the tab “students”. Another option is to invite your students one by one by entering their e-mail address.

Now your online class is ready! At least, it’s there, and everyone can access it. There are a few other things you have to do before you can take off for real.

- Create your first assignment or make an announcement. Click on the “+” button at the bottom in the “updates” tab. Don’t forget to number your assignments. It’s easier for your students to see which one comes first as you are unable to reorder assignments in the stream. Click on the title to see if any students have handed in the assignment and to give grades and feedback. Afterwards, you can return the assignments to your students, so they can start editing again.

- Add some lesson material to your assignment/ class. Add material from Google Drive or add a YouTube video, a file from your computer, a link, etc. You find these options right beneath the due date. If you just want to share a presentation of your class, which is not linked to an assignment, you can go to the tab “about”. Here you can add some lesson material like slides, interesting articles and examples.

- Access the Drive folder. Every time, you create a new class, Google Classroom creates a Drive folder for that class. You can access the folder by going to all your class tiles. On each tile, you’ll find a folder icon. Click on it, and you’re in the folder. Here you can add class materials too. All your students assignments automatically end up in the Google Drive folder, so you’ll find it back whenever you want.

Chapter 2: Setting Up The Perfect Template For Your Emails

Hey there everyone! Ready to become an email marketing expert? Then let’s do this! Every email marketing campaign starts with a great email, and the secret of a great email is in the design.

In this first lesson we are going to show you how to create a perfect email template for your campaigns that is guaranteed to drive results in 2019 and beyond!

Now, before we get started, we’d like to mention that we’ll be using “MailChimp” to manage all the email marketing that we’ll do in this training, from creating the template using its built-in page editor, to creating the campaigns.

We’ve chosen MailChimp because it is an all-in-one, user friendly, and affordable email marketing solution that allows you to get started for free until you reach 2,000 contacts, or until you need to create more than one audience. Then you’ll have to upgrade your plan.

The good news is that these all-in-one platforms are very similar, so you can apply these same steps no matter what platform you choose.

Getting Started

Ok, ready? Let’s get started then. To create an email template on MailChimp, start on the dashboard and click on the “templates” tab.

On the next page, click on the “create template” button.

Now you can start creating your template. The first step is to select a starting point. Here you have three options: layouts, themes, and “code your own”.

In “layouts” you can select a layout that you’ll use as the design guide. There are “featured” layouts with placeholders that you have to replace, and blank layouts that you have to modify from scratch.

In “themes” you can select a preset that is pre-built around a category. Use the themes drop-down menu to filter these templates to a category of your choice. Here you’ll find templates for some of the most popular businesses, including ecommerce, holiday, newsletters, and subscriber alerts.

Lastly, in “code your own” you can select to “paste in code” if you want to create a template from custom code, “import HTML” to create a template by uploading an HTML file with your custom code, or “import zip” to create a template by uploading a zip file with your custom code.

In this example, we are going to select a preset from the “themes” section. One thing you’ll notice is that we are not going to pick a preset based on a category, but based on the elements that a high-converting email template has.

These elements are a minimalist layout with at least half a page of white space, a simple logo placement, a headline placeholder, a placeholder block for copy, and a placeholder CTA button.

As you can see here, one of the “featured” presets has all the necessary elements that we’re looking for, we would only have to remove filler elements, and to customize the rest. To select a preset, simply click on it.

Keep in mind when creating your bio, more people will find you on Twitter that has no previous knowledge of who you are or what you do than on any other network.

3. Upload a photo or image that makes you stand out

Don’t underestimate the importance of picking the right picture or image for your profile (and please, please, please don’t send a tweet until you have uploaded one). For businesses, the perfect profile image will be one that your customers already know and associate with your business—like your company logo. For individuals, you’ll want to use a close-up headshot and make sure you are the only person in the photo.

4. Introduce yourself by sending your first tweet

Now is the perfect time to send your first tweet. It’s not going to be anything earthshattering, and you won’t have any followers (yet) to see it, but it will let people know you are a real person or business and not a robot or spammer. Make the tweet something simple; your introduction to the Twitter world.

5. Find the right people to follow

Who you follow on Twitter will dictate the type of content you have access to and the quality of the relationships you’re able to establish? For this reason, you’ll want to set up some criteria, based on your experience, your industry, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

People you want to follow could include friends, professionals in your industry, other local businesses, colleagues, and even current or potential customers.

If someone has already joined your email list, they most likely would love to connect with you on Twitter too. Send out an email to your contact list, inviting people to follow you on Twitter.

7. Get the tools you need

Like anything else, if you want to be successful on Twitter you want to make sure you have the right tools. There are several tools out there including three you’ll want to have access to from day one.

8. Create your first Twitter List

Twitter Lists are a cool feature provided by Twitter to let users organize the people they follow into specific groups based on industry, relationship, expertise, etc. When you’re first starting out, lists won’t need to be a top priority because you’ll still be growing your community but creating at least one List to let yourself get accustomed to using them.

It’s much easier to keep your contacts organized from the beginning than to try to organize them when you really need them.

9. Save some searches

Similar to Lists, Saved Searches let users organize their content, but do it based on a specific topic rather than on specific users. Saved searches work exactly as they sound. You find a topic of interest or relevance to your business, search for it in Twitter’s “Discover” tab, and then save it for future reference. After saving it, you can easily go back and see results as they appear in real-time.

Some ideas for searches to save include your business name, your name, the city/town that you’re in, industry-related topics, popular hashtags, etc.

10. Connect your touchpoints

A study found that 80.5% of small business websites do not link to social media networks. Please do not make this mistake. Connecting your website to your Twitter profile will help drive traffic and organically build your social following. You’ll also want to make sure you’re inserting a link into your email newsletter with a strong call-to-action.

11. Don’t forget to have a plan!

Just being on Twitter won’t be enough to accomplish those goals—even if you follow these 10 steps to getting started. What will allow you to achieve those goals is having a social strategy about the way you plan to engage on Twitter, the type of content you want to share, and the milestones you hope to achieve.
