Sales Funnel Supremacy MRR Ebook

Introduction

No matter what it is you’re trying to sell on the web, a sales funnel is the number one way to do it. This is the most systematic way to build trust, to build a relationship and to encourage people to want your brand before making a sale – and it is incredibly powerful when done well.

Take a look around the web and chances are that you’ll have come across a large number of sales funnels without even realising it. So what exactly is a sales funnel? How does it work? And how can you tap into its power for yourself?

Those are the questions we’re going to be asking and answering in this ebook. By the end, you’ll know exactly what an ebook is and why it’s so important. Moreover, you’ll be able to build your own sales funnel from scratch and use it to capture leads and convert them into paying customers.

Once you understand the science behind this, you’ll see why it’s the most effective way to build profits and you’ll be able to turn any product or service into a massive success.

What is a Sales Funnel?

Before we go any further, it would perhaps be useful to explain exactly what a sales funnel is and what you’ll be using it for.

In essence, a sales funnel can be imagined like a funnel for customers.

You start out with a broad opening to capture as many leads as possible and then you gradually narrow those leads down to only the most engaged and interested customers so that you can sell to them. All the while, you’ll be building trust, building engagement and priming them ready to make a sale.

You can also think about this as a ladder, which each rung taking your customers closer to the top where you’ll eventually try to sell to them. In practice, what this means is a series of different marketing strategies, each arranged in such a way as to build more and more targeted leads for your business. So you might start with a simple advert, or a blog post and then move on to an email list, then a ‘free report’, then a seminar, then a small product sale and then a big sale.

Each of these marketing stages is a rung on a ladder, it’s a little further down the funnel. And each time a customer clicks on the next link, or follows you to the next step, they are becoming more and more likely to buy from you.

As mentioned, there’s a good chance you’ll have encountered different sales funnels in your travel around the web: and you may even have bought products from others through this method. You might have come across a blog and signed up to the mailing list for instance, and then been told to click on the link therein in order to see a free seminar. And then maybe the free seminar asked you to sign up for the next seminar which would cost a little money.

And you may have come across it on YouTube too. For example, Tai Lopez is something of an inscrutable business man who is willing to use everything at his disposal to capture new leads and sales – even when that involves a bit of bare-face lying (that’s not his car and not his garage!).

But he still employs a sales funnel very well. If you go on YouTube to watch a video, his ad will very often show up.

The guy then goes on to talk about his cars or his massive house and this makes you want to watch – even if only because it annoys you.

At the end of the video, he offers to show you how to get his three most important tips for making money. And because it’s free, why wouldn’t you click it? Only at this point, you’re becoming more and more involved with his brand and more and more likely to become a paying customer. When you watch this ‘free’ video, which is on his site or channel, you’ll then be told you can get even more information by signing up for a free report. In fact, this report is key to understanding the video. If you do this, then Tai now has your details and the confirmation that you’re interested in what he has to sell!

You’ve gone from a ‘cold lead’ (someone on YouTube, targeted based on your video watching choices), to a ‘warm lead’ (someone who has demonstrated an interest) to eventually a ‘qualified lead’.

The way Tai does this is a little transparent and a little cynical – but it’s how all the big names operate including the likes of Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss and Pat Flynn. And it’s exactly what you should be doing if you want to make sales. Note that this doesn’t mean you have to con people like Tai! Just that you need to think about your marketing strategy in steps and stages and understand the psychology of the way you’re dealing with people.

Chapter 1: Why Sales Funnels?

Understanding the 5 Touches

Imagine if someone came up to you in the street and asked you if you’d like to buy a $5,000 watch.

99.9999% of the time, you would say no to that offer.

Why? Well, apart from the fact that you might not want a watch (you are a ‘cold lead’ in that respect), there’s also the small issue of trust, recognition and authority. You don’t know who this person is, you’ve been given no reason to trust them and you’re probably not going to want to hand over any cash.

That’s why companies don’t do this. Instead, they give you fliers. Fliers are things you can choose to accept or throw away – but either way, they don’t cost you anything and you won’t feel that you’re being pressured into anything.

Other stores do something different: they give away freebies. Walk past Starbucks and you’ll often find them giving away free samples of their new drinks and cakes for you to try. Again, you can easily walk away if you’re not interested and you won’t feel you’re being strong-armed. If you like the free sample though, then you can come in and try whatever else they’re offering.

If you try and sell to people right away on your website though, then you’re the equivalent of someone trying to sell thousand dollar watches in the street. And if that’s the only thing you’re offering and the only way that your visitors can engage with you, then they’re just going to say ‘no thanks’ and leave, giving you no way to contact them again and no way to get them back. As you might have guessed, this is a poor strategy!

Try to imagine it from their perspective: they have typed ‘fitness tips’ into Google, found your page essentially by accident and now you’re trying to sell them your training program for $500. People do not make decisions on that basis unless they’re loaded with cash. They’ll see you’re trying to sell them, write you off as spam and then leave.

The Alternative

Now imagine the alternative: the sales funnel technique.

They do the same thing: they type in ‘fitness tips’ and they land on your site where they get some great information right away. That information is unique, interesting and useful but at the bottom, it tells the audience that if they want more great tips – your ‘5 Most Powerful Tips’ – then all they have to do is to enter their details to receive your free report.

There’s very little reason for them not to do this: you have demonstrated that you’re able to provide value and you’re offering something for free. The only price they pay, is to allow you to contact them in future – but as you will point out, they can always just unsubscribe if they don’t want to hear anything more from you.

FACEBOOK

Remember when a social networking site was the conference center where you endured endless facts and figures with fellow colleagues or it was the corner cafe for a drink with coworkers after five? Enter technology and the 2000’s.

Social networking sites are now online. With just a click these sites are accessible in the comfort of your own home, at the office and coffee shops. Wherever there’s a connection, there’s a connection. Basically a social networking site is designed to connect with people: family, friends, co-workers, etc. One of the sites that has been gaining notoriety and becoming more popular today than body glitter in the ‘90’s is Facebook.

This is a free site anyone can join. Begin by setting up your account and creating a profile. A profile is just that, you fill in the blanks with some info about you, a little or a lot, whatever you want people to know. You can download a profile picture that stays on “your page”. If you opt out of downloading a picture an icon appears instead.

Once on Facebook you can begin searching for people and asking them to be your “friend”. You’ll quickly get over the initial “this is so third grade asking people to be your friend” realizing the site is one of the coolest tools to use for contacts. You can search not only for people but by interest group as well. With most interest groups you follow them as a “fan”. Once you and someone agree to “be friends or fans” you are able to read each other’s pages.

Pages contain news feed (info on your friend’s newest friends), status updates (info posted by your friends), posted photos and applications (games). Your page also provides an email account and instant messenger should you not want to converse with someone via a status update in the public eye. Facebook allows you to comment on a friend’s status update, or if you are at a loss for works you can simply click the “like” button letting them know you agree.

USING Facebook to Your Advantage

Pay per click is an advertising method used by various content sites and search engines to marketing websites to users through keyword searches. Every time a user clicks on your like you pay the host company a fee. Unlike most advertising prior to, PPC forces your customer to act prior to your paying any money.

If they only view the link or ad then you don’t pay.

Using Facebook’s PPC program is one method of continuing your social media momentum and effectively promoting your product or service through creating and maintaining your social buzz. All Facebook advertisements are relegated to the left of the screen, clearly visible to users and visitors of Facebook. PPC programs and their strategic placement help ensure that your advertisement will receive the attention of as many viewers as possible.

Facebook’s easy to use PPC tool allows you to get your social ads up and running quickly. Keyword ads grab the consideration of only appropriate Facebook users and help to reel them into investigating your personal Facebook page or that of your business.

When a Face-book patron connects with an individual or business all of their friends see this connection in their news feed and here is where you can harness the power of social media as they will most likely check out your profile as well.

FACEBOOK A NEW WAY TO COMMUNICATE

Social media marketing is here to stay. It is the new way of communicating for both businesses as well as individuals. With all things, there are fans and there are cynics. However, there is no denying its impact. A crucial tipping point in how the world communicates has been passed. Online social media is now mainstream. Nearly everyone has some method of social media be it Twitter or Facebook. Facebook and Twitter have certainly become the main tools by which small businesses and the upwardly mobile engage the outside world.

From the rise of Facebook a new method of marketing has developed.

Social Media Marketing is now one of the primary means of relating new products and services to the world. Social media is perfect for getting the word out. It is fresh, fast and free. Sure, there is some effort to it after all, you have to Tweet or write on your wall several times daily, but it’s free. Let’s say it again. Free.

Facebook allows you to freely contact your friends, family, potential employers and potential customers. You can market yourself or business by establishing an engaging online profile. You have the potential, if you are clever and savvy, to reach out to and influence a wide customer base. Friend people, Write on their walls, Create events that will post to their walls, Comment on someone’s status, Review a movie, Play games, Having fun is now work— how awesome is that?

GAMES AND PAY Per Click

Companies create games now as a means of advertising their product. For a grand and a half you can create a viral game that reaches literally millions of potential customers. Users may also choose to use affiliate sales links to earn a little extra cash from Facebook.

You also have the option to create a Facebook PPC campaign and create an ad that will be run according to keyword searches.

Face-book offers you the opportunity to advertise to a broad demographic, and create a series of social actions that will enable you to grow your business across the community of millions.

Facebook makes it easy enough for a beginner to set up with its easy walk through and tutor-ial. However, if you are uneasy about starting a campaign yourself there are companies that will help you select the appropriate keywords and demographics.

Pay per click is an effective advertising method because you only pay per click, not per view. This is a different approach than say a commercial that people can forward past or leave the room during. You pay for the direction action, or curiosity, of your web user.

Whether you want to use Facebook to stay in touch, get a new job, or grow your business customer base, Facebook has the capacity to fulfill your needs if you can just learn your way around a few kingdoms.

The usual PPC methodology employed by Google and Yahoo does not translate exactly to Facebook. Facebook is unique among social media tools because it is a site for individuals that also allows companies to establish a minority presence on their site using the Pages functionality. It is, however, first and foremost a social community and companies wishing to do any kind of business on Facebook should realize that straight off.

Yes, Facebook does utilize a PPC (paid advertising system) which displays ads on either side of the screen. Facebook was designed, however, to be a method of chatting so marketing and other commercial activity is usually a subset of that. You can build a “promotional presence” on Facebook quite easily. Thinking that you will make a killing using PPC that way would be a mistake. However, any promotional advantage that a company has on Facebook should come first from its pages and second from advertising, and like all social media the goal is to make them talk to themselves. In other words, don’t purchase PPC ads on Facebook if you don’t also have a page.

The advantage of social media in general is that the networking aspect to it allows a user to easily target ads at a particular demographic.

All advertising methods must utilize the cross-match approach in order to have their ads in front of a specific set of consumers.

One of the tricks of social media advertising is understanding user motivations. Social Media is used for chit chat and users are extremely turned off by direct advertising such as PPCs.

This is understandable. If someone is performing a search on Yahoo or Google they are looking for something in particular.

Such is not the case with Facebook, Twitter, etc. Therefore how you look at adver-tising needs to change. Pay per clicks on Facebook can be useful, but not as much as producing community driven content and event announcements.

Understanding this is the key to spending you advertising dollars wisely. If you want a any kind of return on investment then you need to concentrate on both community driven social media content before attempting PPC. One must feed into the next for it to have any monetary impact. Considering that Facebook offers free pages it makes logical sense to utilize them, rather than attempting to meet a pre-existing user demand that comes with keyword based advertising approaches.

However, if you are going to go this approach then be savvy and have both a Facebook page and a PPC that links to your Facebook page. You will find that the more that people you grow as “friends” or “fans” the more free advertising you will get. Not to sway anyone against PPCs on Facebook, but if you are going to use them then use them wisely.

There are literally hundreds of different ways of driving in targeted traffic to your website, and this report focuses on the easiest and most effective methods. Best of all, they are all 100% free!

So without further delay, let's get started.

Article Marketing

Article marketing is an exceptional technique at generating a flood of high quality back links to your website quickly and easily.

All you really need to get started create 10-15 articles that combine your keywords within the titles of each article as well as the actual content.

Every article should be about 300-400 words in length and whenever possible, try to focus on submitting original, high quality material, or at the very least, well written private label content (although not every article directory will allow private label content to be submitted).

Each article is “tagged” with your back-link by creating an author’s resource box that is attached to your article submissions.

Author resource boxes are often the only place where a back-link is permitted, so you need to ensure that your actual article content is compelling and focused on retaining your readers attention long enough to direct them to your resource box featured at the end of the article.

With your article, you need to:

1) Use a clear and direct title that captures attention instantly.

2) Follow it up with the first paragraph clearly describing the topic of your article.

3) Continue with the body weaving a story, and doing its job by keeping the visitor reading through to the end.

4) The closing paragraph or statement satisfying the reader with an ending to the story if you choose that style and prompting them to read the resource box below.

5) The resource box then compels the reader to click on a link by offering free information in the form of a free report, ebook, video, tutorial, ecourse or something else, relevant to the topic of your article.

With article marketing, the greater the number of articles in circulation, the more exposure you will receive from both your article directory profile and author resource boxes.

Generating Organic Traffic

On-Site SEO involves manually optimizing every page on your website, from its title tag, keywords used within content to the way that your site map or overall structure is created.

All of the work of on-site Seo takes place directly on your website, and is in your full control.

When it comes to on-site SEO, there are very important factors regarding the actual structure and anatomy of your website that you need to pay special attention to in order to effectively optimize your website for top search engine rankings Keywords Title Tags ( per page) Meta Description Site Map Inclusion Title Tags:

A title tag should include a description of what your website is about, rather than just including your website's URL, you should always incorporate your primary keyword phrase into the title tags of each webpage you own.

Head Tags:

Header Tags also play an important part in search engine optimization, because by using head tags within your website's content, you are able to highlight important text on your website, ensuring that search engine spiders pay special attention to the text contained within these head tags.

Site Maps:

Another very important element to SEO is including a site map on your website. What a site map does is helps both visitors and search engine spiders navigate their way throughout your pages and categories, by outlining all of the different areas of your site.

You can create a sitemap very easily by using free services such as:

http://www.XML-Sitemaps.com

Keywords:

When it comes to developing your content so that you are optimizing your website for the search engines, you should pay attention to keyword proximity, prominence as well as the order of your content itself. The prominence of your keyword is based on the first instance of where it appears within your content.

A keyword phrase that is used at the end of your content will be considered less relevant than a keyword phrase that appears in the first portion of your content or article.

This means that you need to ensure that you implement your primary keyword phrases into the first half of your content, so that it is given more weight when search engine spiders index your website.

Keyword proximity is also very important in terms of search engine rankings because it indicates to the search engines that these keywords are related to one another.

With off-site SEO, you are focusing on building solid back links to your website, as the more incoming links to your site from quality, relevant websites, the more authority your website is given in the search engines.

Place emphasis on the quality of your incoming backlinks rather than the quantity of backlinks you have. While the more backlinks in circulation, the better, if you have more backlinks coming in from solid, established and authority websites, they WILL carry more weight than those pointing to your site from start-up websites and blogs.

Ai For Entrepreneurs PLR Ebook

Introduction

The technology industry has fallen in love with artificial intelligence, also known as AI. With applications that range from automated customer service to high-end data services, artificial intelligence is popping up all over the place.

Rob Marvin and Brian Horowitz from PC Magazine point out that AI is clearly a growing force in the industry, taking center-stage at conventions and conferences and showing a lot of potential for a wide variety of industries (including manufacturing and retail).

New products are already equipped with virtual assistants and chatbots are answering your customers’ questions for you. And companies like Google and Microsoft are “integrating AI as an intelligence layer across their entire tech stack.”

This isn’t the artificial intelligence that science fiction has conditioned us to expect, though. While there are a few robotic androids, there’s no Skynet. We don’t even have Jarvis, the AI butler from the Iron Man movies. What we do have is smarter tech and far more powerful data.

And what that means is that, according to the CEO of Sas.com, “Widespread advancement in machine learning (ML), computer vision, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) have made it easier than ever to bake an algorithm layer into your software or cloud platform.”

For your business, practical AI applications can take almost any form, depending on your organizational needs and “the business intelligence (BI) insights derived from the data you collect.”

You can use AI for everything from “mining” social data, automating customer growth and data collection, to driving customer engagement to optimizing logistics and overall efficiency.

In this special report, we’ll take a close look at how you can use AI in your business successfully.

Let’s begin!

What AI Can Do for You

A survey of CEOs from small- to medium-sized businesses (conducted by Vistage, an executive coaching company) found that artificial intelligence is quickly becoming an important part of business processes.

In that survey, 29.5% of business leaders said that AI, of all new technologies, would have the greatest impact on their business in the next year.

In the finance industry, some of the lenders have already started using AI or machine learning to improve the risk assessment process.

But you don’t have to look toward the future to see what artificial intelligence can do for you now. AI-based tools can offer you several benefits, including:

Lowering costs
Reducing risk
Reducing time spent on tasks
Increasing results
Improving flexibility and responsiveness

Here are four specific areas where artificial intelligence can help you grow and manage your business:

Improving sales and marketing—Customer relationship management (CRM) systems are designed to collect customer information from communication channels like phone, email, and social media.

The goal is to help improve and even automate the sales process.

Platforms like Salesforce have begun using AI that helps small businesses analyze the data from those communication channels and then adjust lead generation activities and marketing based on that information.

AI-infused CRMs can help you generate more leads for the same amount of marketing money. They also show how AI can be used to gather marketing- and sales-relevant insights to optimize nearly the entire customer acquisition process.

Automating customer communication. Many small businesses have started using chatbots on their websites.

Chatbots can initiate conversations and help answer customer questions. It’s like a 24/7 sales or customer service rep.

You’ve probably already encountered a chatbot, even if you didn’t think of it as artificial intelligence. It’s that little pop-up chat box at the corner of a website that asks if you have any questions or problems.

If you don’t have a dedicated customer service or sales team yet, a chatbot might be the way to go, taking some of the pressure off your shoulders and letting you put your focus on the things that are important.

Streamlining human resources tasks—An unexpected area where AI has started appearing is in the field of human resources.

AI tools are available to not only streamline the hiring and “onboarding” processes, but also gather information from new employees that helps HR improve those processes. And both of these can have a major impact on your bottom line.

AI can automatically sort through that stack of applicants to find the people who most closely match the criteria you’re looking for.

This can not only improve your odds on finding the perfect candidate, but also save you valuable time and resources.
And once that candidate is brought onboard, the software can help educate employees with questions about company benefits or policies.

This can reduce the time you spend on the hiring process and increase the number of high-quality candidates you see, since you just don’t have the time to wade through all those applications yourself.

It then reduces the amount of time HR spends on answering questions from your new employees.

Acquiring competitive intelligence—You’ve probably dreamed of being able to gather and analyze your competition easily—from written and video content to social media posts and marketing campaigns that help them better position their business.

Well, the great news is that artificial intelligence can do that for you!
There are several tools that let you keep tabs on your competitors and their activities, including collecting the information for you, and then convert it into easy-to-read reports.

Crayon, for example, a competitor analysis tool, uses artificial intelligence to track competitors across a variety of digital channels such as their websites or social media posts.

It then collects a variety of information for you, like slight adjustments in their marketing language or pricing changes.

These types of AI tools allow you to gather more detailed information faster, which means you respond faster and more efficiently to industry changes that might affect your business!

Youtube Advertising PLR Ebook

Introduction

Targeted, engaging and optimized videos are powerful vehicles for spreading your marketing message and reaching a new audience. And the reality is, most people would rather watch an engaging video than read a lengthy article or blog post.

In fact, the YouTube platform has over 2 billion users—who, combined, consume over 1-billion hours of video every single day!

That’s more than Netflix and Facebook videos combined.

But of course, YouTube isn’t the only video platform available, though it currently is the largest. As of 2021, YouTube reaches more 18 to 49-year-olds than any American cable network.

There’s no question, it’s a powerful tool for branding and marketing, and since your audience is likely already on video platforms, it’s an easy way to maximize conversion rates, or simply reach an entirely new following.

YouTube has also become a frequently used search engine for many people, even those who generally say they’re not comfortable with modern tech.

In this special report, we’ll take a close look at how you can create high converting video ads on the YouTube platform so that you can maximize exposure quickly and easily.

Let’s begin!

Intro to YouTube Ads

In 2017, YouTube revamped its AdWords, allowing advertisers to reach more viewers on YouTube, especially on mobile devices, where almost 50% of all YouTube views occur.

YouTube also announced the ability for advertisers to target viewers based on their Google search history—in addition to the viewing behaviors it was already targeting.

This means that you can now target viewers who recently searched for a specific product or service, and you can then create different ads for different types of viewers.

If a viewer sees a video-based ad that’s closely related to something they were just searching for, they’re more likely to watch the entire clip, or even click through to your website for more information.

Targeted ads allow you to maximize your marketing dollars and reach deep into your niche, connecting with your audience in a matter of minutes.

YouTube ads are a little different from other types of ads (like Facebook or Google) though. With some of the other platforms, you’re required to pay upfront for your ads.

With YouTube, however, you only pay for a view if the user watches more than 30 seconds of your ad, or takes an action (such as clicking through to your website).

With Google or Facebook ads, you’d pay no matter how much of your ad was seen. With YouTube, you pay only when your ad has triggered a positive response!

Types of YouTube Ads

Before you begin advertising on the YouTube platform, it’s important that you understand the different options available.

Currently, there are seven different types of YouTube ads:

TrueView Instream Ads: These are the most common of all YouTube ads, the main advertising format.

8 out of 10 viewers prefer this sort of ad over the other types. This is mostly because this format gives you the most control over which advertisements they see.

You may see this as a negative, as viewers can choose to skip your ads, but think of it this way: you’re paying only for those viewers who are interested in what you’re offering them.

These ads can be as short as 12 seconds and as long as 6 minutes. A six-minute ad is a fairly long one, so you should probably aim for somewhere in the middle.

There are two basic types of TrueView Ads: skippable and non-skippable.

Let’s look at those in more detail.

Non-skippable Instream Ads: These are a type of TrueView ad that do exactly what the title says. The viewer cannot skip over these ads, but must watch all the way through to get to the content they’re searching for.

Non-skippable ads can play at the beginning or end of the chosen video, or can be placed somewhere in the middle. Ads that pop up in the middle of a video can be annoying, but you’re more likely to keep the viewer’s attention because they’re waiting for the rest of the chosen content to display.

The important thing to remember is that the ad must be watched all the way through, which means you pay every time the ad plays. This would be a good choice for a business with a large marketing budget because you’re not going to be targeting your viewers quite as narrowly as you would with a skippable ad. With a non-skippable ad, you’ll pay every time it pops up.

Note: YouTube recently announced that they had to be under 20 seconds long (rather than the 30 seconds they previously allowed).

There’s also a special subset of Non-skippable Ad: the Bumper Ad. This is a Non-skippable ad that plays at the beginning of a video and must be under 6 seconds long. You are charged for these in the same way you are charged for other Non-skippable ads.

Skippable Instream Ads: Again, this is just what it sounds like. After viewing five seconds of your TrueView ad, the user can opt to skip it and get straight back to their chosen content.

You aren’t charged unless they watch at least 30 seconds of your ad (or if they take action such as clicking on a link in your ad).

Skippable ads can be played at the beginning of a video, during the video, or afterwards. We recommend placing your ads at the beginning or middle of the video because it’s way too easy to just skip an ad at the end by clicking on the next video in the series.

Sponsored Card Ads: These ads display content relevant to the YouTube video being watched, such as products used in the video itself. Viewers will see a teaser for the card for a few seconds, or they can click an icon at the top right corner of their screen to browse through the cards associated with their video.

These ads are available on both desktop and mobile versions of YouTube. Sponsored cards are a very unobtrusive YouTube ad.

Overlay Ads: These are available for desktop or laptop computers. An overlay ad is a transparent ad that appears in the lower 20% of the video. That’s 480 x 70 pixels and viewers can exit the ad at any time they wish.

Overlay ads are not as popular because are prone to with false clicks, and because some viewers find them annoying.

Display Ads: These appear to the right of the video just above the video suggestion list. They can be 300 x 250 or 300 x 60 pixels in size and can run across all areas of YouTube except for the homepage.

If a viewer is interested in what you’re advertising and sees one of your display ads, you should get a click.

Midroll Ads: These ads play full screen and appear in videos that are more than 15 minutes long. They play just like television commercials, interrupting the video periodically to show an advertisement.

Viewers must watch the ad before the video continues playing so you’ll be paying whenever the ad runs and not when the viewer watches a certain amount of the ad.

These ads can appear on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. Advertisers can insert ad breaks at natural pauses in a longer video for a more streamlined viewing experience.

Most people are used to seeing commercials when watching a video, so this type of ad isn’t as annoying as some of the other types. Since these are non-skippable, you are charged on a CPM basis – that’s Cost-Per-Mille, where “mille” stands for a thousand views.

Foreword

Communication is an important form of getting information across to the other party. However good, quick and effective deliverance is just as important as the attention span of most people today is very short, and this is especially so if the material being communicated is rather boring. Get all the info you need here.

Chapter 01 - Why is Good Communication Important?

Synopsis

Since our minds are crammed with so much of information, there is very little time or space to indulge in frivolous and irrelevant information thus the need to be precise and quick when communicating. With hectic schedules and distractions to contend with, it is often quite hard to take the time to stop and pay attention to what is being communicated.

The Basics

The following are some recommendations on how to ensure the information being communicated is done so in the shortest possible time frame, and yet fully understood by the receiving party:

• Perhaps the most effective way of communicating information and having it understood is to ensure there is constant eye contact with the recipient, throughout the length of the communication session. This should also be done in a precise and quick time frame where the information is presented as concisely as possible.

• Getting the recipient to summarize and repeat, what has been communicated is also another method of ensuring the information is both heard and understood. This is also another way to ensure the content of the information stays the same as it was presented and there are no additions or distortions to the content.

• The language design and phrasing should also be in line with the recipient’s capability and understating levels. Talking to someone who is not savvy in the technical jargon used will not only be a waste of time and effort, but it would also seem pretentious to those around. This type of communication would not effective at all.

Chapter 02 - Understanding Yourself And Your Message

Synopsis

Problems usually arise when information dispersed is not really understood by the individual doing the dispercement exercise. This has a lot of negative connotations to it as the said information content may not be dispersed as it was first designed to represent. Here in lies the problem of good communication that is faced by any level in society, which more often than not, results miscommunication or misinterpretation of the said information.

Understanding

There are three main components of communication, which affects the overall understanding of what is being communicated.

These would include the verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal platforms used.

The following are some tips on how to ensure the information is first thoroughly understood by the presenter before it is presented to others:

• By understanding the content of the message intended to be shared with others the individual presenting the message will ideally utilize either all three of the communications components, or at the very least two components at any given time. This will allow the recipient of the message the opportunity to fully grasp, both the content and its impact meant to be made through the communication session.

• When the content of the message is completely understood by the individual, he or she will be able to design or choose the suitable verbal, paraverbal or nonverbal messaging style that would effectively get the message across to the receiving party. Without this initial understanding factor, the individual would be hard pressed to make the presentation of the message impactful enough to get the desired results.

• Another important effect that is desired from thoroughly understanding the message content before presenting it, is that the consistency in the message itself will be presented in a way that is less confusing and inconsistent according to the perception of the recipient.

Chapter 03 - Learn To Use Terms That Invoke Emotions

Synopsis

For most, the effective impacts desired out of a communicating exercise, comes from the importance of being able to invoke some level of emotion both from the presenter and the listener.

If the communication is well designed, with this important aspect dominantly featured, then the eventual results of the said communication exercise will bring forth the desired effects.

Emotions

Learning how to identify and include terms in the speech pattern and body language will be very useful when trying to focus in invoking some sort of emotion from all involved.

Using appropriate trigger works and phrases is one way of achieving this emotional impact. “Painting” a picture with the choice of words used is the main idea behind the emotion invoking communication technique.

Introduction

Many Eastern practices such as meditation and yoga have become more prominent in the West in recent years. The similarity between these two practices is that they both offer relaxation and enhanced focus. These practices are becoming more popular by the day, and they’re increasingly featuring in movies as they continue to gain stamped acceptance in Europe. This shows that there’s something people in the East understand about relaxation and keeping the mind free from stress that needs to be understood in the West.

Depression is on the rise across the globe, and suicidal attempts are getting worse by the day. This situation shouldn’t be this way because the modern world is full of fanciful toys. Besides, we have sleeker and faster ways of doing things, thanks to the development of machines and intelligent tools. Various companies are leveraging artificial intelligence to make life easier and more enjoyable. Still, the number of unhappy people in the world is alarming.

According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 264 million people battling depression across the globe. In the US, there are more than 16.2 million adults suffering from a major depressive disorder. At its peak, depression can lead to suicide. So, this unpleasant situation has to be arrested. Thankfully, one of the ways you can avoid this mental disorder is through a practice that costs nothing: mindfulness. This book will focus on the meaning, techniques, and benefits of this practice. Reading the content of this guide guarantees improved mental health, among other benefits.

Chapter 1: Mindfulness 101

This journey will begin by exploring the rudiments of mindfulness. We’ll also discuss the differences between mindfulness and meditation, as well as the types of and factors that enhance mindfulness.

Meaning of Mindfulness

You need to understand what mindfulness is all about to be able to practice it effectively. Generally, mindfulness refers to being aware of your environment and the sensations demanding your attention. For example, when you are living in the moment, you’ll pay attention to the natural arrangement and color of the flowers as you walk through a garden. You’ll also notice the way cars are moving and stopping rather than just see them as objects flying past you while walking on a busy road.

Your mind has a tendency to act like a monkey jumping from one branch of a tree to the other. The Buddha refers to this state of mind as “the monkey mind.” This restlessness is the reason many people find it difficult to stay in the moment. Their minds are full of thoughts about the future and how they can solve the next problem in such a way that they cannot enjoy the current moment.

Such people are always distracted and find it difficult to concentrate on a task.

Many people don’t realize the transient and short nature of life. You cannot afford to live a meaningless and colorless life due to your inability to see the beauty in the basic things of life. For some people, they will never realize the importance of those simple but foundational things in life until their health declines. Staying in the moment and making every moment count is supposed to be our default mode. However, it’s now a lost art that so many people are learning the hard way.

The Differences Between Mindfulness and Meditation

There’s no doubt that mindfulness and meditation share a number of similarities. Nonetheless, they aren’t the same. Mindfulness is broader and simpler than meditation. You cannot meditate everywhere you go, but mindfulness isn’t restricted to any particular location. Before you can meditate, you’ll need to be somewhere you’ll not be distracted. There are also some outfits you’ll need to get the best out of the practice. However, that’s not the case when it comes to mindfulness.

Meditation promotes mindfulness, but you can stay in the moment without practicing meditation. For example, you can simply focus all your energy and attention on a conversation you have with your friend or a member of your family. At that moment, you can decide to switch off your phone or put it away so that you can have a full grasp of what the person is saying. You’re not meditating at that moment. Yet, you are practicing mindfulness because you are making the best of that conversation.

So, every single time you choose to be fully engrossed with an activity you are involved in, you are practicing mindfulness. When you are living in the moment, you’ll enjoy and analyze a football game you are watching in detail. You will not be thinking about how you will perform at an interview at that moment. People that practice mindfulness allows future events to handle themselves.

In other words, they don’t allow the pressure of an upcoming situation to cripple their enjoyment of the current moment. They put their best in whatever they have to handle right now without distractions.

Types of Mindfulness Movement

Remember that the central idea behind mindfulness is staying in the movement, regardless of what you’re doing. Yet, there are some activities that can make you practice mindfulness deliberately. Below are some of them:

Breathing Exercises

Breathing exercises involve deliberately elongating your breath and slowing it down while observing it. This routine enables you to refresh and improve your focus. Breathing exercises feature in seated meditation. However, it only serves as an anchor for the practice. In mindfulness, this exercise helps you to reconnect to your environment.

Mindful Walking

Taking a walk is recommended by physical experts as a beneficial exercise that offers multiple benefits. Still, you can combine mindfulness with it to get more out of the activity. For example,

while walking past a garden, pay more attention to the breeze and the beauty of nature all around you.

Routine Workout with Mindfulness

You can synchronize your breath, tune in your body, and stay in the moment while nourishing your muscles and building strength. This approach is a fantastic way of enjoying the benefits of working out and mindfulness at the same time. It is a combination that you will find beneficial to both your body and mind.

Mindful Stretching

Stretching is an early-morning home routine for many people. It helps to reduce stiffness, release tension, and eliminate negative emotions. You can introduce mindfulness into the activity by observing every movement you make. Pay attention to your body and your breath. You are inadvertently building resilience, focus, and energy, which translate to a better living experience, especially while going through your daily activities.

Factors That Enhances Mindfulness

There’re some things you can do to make it more seamless to stay in the moment. Here are some of them.

Digital Disconnection

Digital devices have many advantages, including a faster accomplishment of certain tasks. Sadly, they have become the greatest source of distraction for many people. This excessive use has also affected the quality of sleep and interpersonal relationships of many individuals. If you want to make every moment count, you need to stay off your digital devices sometimes or totally for some days, if possible.

If you cannot imagine staying one week off social media, you need to act fast. You can deliberately stay off for some days to be in charge again. Whatever makes you lose control over your life has put you at the backdoor. You need to wrest it back and be in charge as fast as possible.

Work-Life Balance

Many people find it challenging to leave their jobs in the office. They often bring uncompleted tasks home, thereby finding it difficult to have time for their loved ones. If you want to stay more in the moment, try to leave your job in your office. When you are at home, let your family have full access to you to create great memories together. It doesn’t matter if you’re working at home.

You still have to ensure that you create an office space and time at home to avoid letting your job demands interfere with your family life. You’ll not be happy to discover that there are some other people that your kids prefer to you.

Stay Closer to Nature

Possessing and cultivating a garden, especially with your family, is one of the most fulfilling activities in the world. It creates a sense of togetherness as you try to achieve a goal as a family. However, if you don’t have one, you can still stay closer to nature by visiting one or going to places with beautiful sceneries. Walk through the location and appreciate the creativity in nature and the exciting colors of various plants and flowers.

Have Hobbies

Instead of wasting time on digital platforms, enjoying a hobby is a better activity. Find something you like to do that can take your mind away from your challenges and other negative emotions whenever you’re doing it. Hobbies also ensure that you’re doing something that improves your self-esteem. You will enjoy this benefit if you choose a hobby that you’re good at doing.

After specifying your target audience, find out if your offer is ondemand or if it is something that people need. If it is, move on to the next step.

So, come up with an effective content strategy and apply it to the content creation process. Share interactive content.

Use high-res images and videos when sharing stories or advertising your brand. Include your business name and logo on all images. Upload inspirational quotes, DIYs, or cheat sheets for more likes and comments. Use meta keywords, meta descriptions, and hashtags for SEO and exposure.

Post as frequently as you desire and know the best times to share posts. This can lead to more people visiting your profile, engaging with your content, and following you back.

GET MORE FOLLOWERS

The next step is to get more followers so you can drive traffic to your site, blog, or store. The best way to achieve that is by marketing your content. You want people to know that you exist, find you on search engines, understand your business, and prefer your product or service over your competitor’s.

Market your content.

Ensure more people interact with your content and take action by using the following tips:

? Complete your profile.

Ensure you have a business account so you can meet your goals. If you don’t have one, go ahead and create it. You will gain access to countless features that will help you to grow and build your brand.

So, ensure you either open a business account or convert your existing account to a business one.

During the signup process, make sure you fill in all the details and pick the right username so you can appear and rank high on search engines. People will find you based on your username so choose one that best describes your business or offer.

If your existing account is incomplete go ahead and edit it. Ensure all the information is there. For example, business name, description, location, and working hours. Keep your information up-to-date.

? Be consistent.

Consistency helps you to grow your brand and ensure people easily identify your posts. So, give your brand a unique voice, stick to your primary colors, and avoid copying the competition. Learn from them but be as unique as you can be.

? Use proper hashtags.

Hashtags help you to command attention and allow people to easily find your posts. Use industry-specific hashtags to attract the right people. For example, if your business’s primary aim is to offer sales and marketing services to clients, use relevant hashtags. For instance, #marketingservices, #sales, #increaserevenue, and so forth. People follow hashtags and including them on your posts ensures your content appears on search engines. Use AutoHash or Display Purpose to gain access to quality hashtags for your posts.

With the onset of many online business opportunities, which offer a chance for people to enjoy earning a living from the comforts of their own homes, more and more have become curious about what social media really is about, and how it can help their online business careers. First and foremost, social media can mean two things. For one, it can be a tool that is used for people to communicate and share certain things with their friends and love ones; and, it can be used as an internet marketing strategy that takes advantage of the influence of social networking sites like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, MySpace, and many more.

When you get started with an online business, which is operated through your own web page, one of the things that you will need to attain in order to succeed is to drive a huge volume of traffic to it on a regular basis. Internet traffic simply means the number of people visiting your web portal; and, one of the best ways to do that is through the use of social media marketing. One example of taking advantage of a social networking site to promote your website is by placing a link to it, directly on your Facebook account to be seen by others. Thus, if you have already done that, then you have already taken advantage of social media marketing.

One of the reasons why successful online marketers make use of social media to promote their online businesses is the fact that such websites are highly visited by millions of people on a regular basis. With Facebook alone, it actually has over 500 million registered users in a global scale. Thus, there is no question that a certain percentage of it belongs to your target market.

Going back to that example, you are actually just taking advantage of one site; therefore, if you add the numbers of other powerful social media sites mentioned on top, then you may be able to have thousands of people visiting your site on a daily basis.

Social media is indeed one of the most powerful online marketing strategies that you can make use of, in order to gain more traffic to your site. Aside from that, do not forget that most of these websites were not initially created for business purposes, but as a way to bridge gaps between people who are located far from each other. Thus, you need to build relationships first, as well as entertain questions from interested individuals from time to time.

Different Types of Social Media

If you are about to jumpstart your online business career with the creation of your own website, you should know that there are many online marketing strategies that you need to make use of, in order to gain success in it. One of which is social media marketing, and one of the things that you need to do to take advantage of it is to know its different types.

In general, there are two different types of social media namely off-site and on-site. By knowing the different types of social media marketing, you will be able to know the proper steps that you need to take in taking advantage of this online marketing technique. Aside from that, you will also understand better, why such steps are taken for the benefit of your own website.

Off-site social media marketing simply means the use of other websites, particularly social networking sites, in order to drive more traffic to your own website. Such websites would be the likes of YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, among others. Since these websites are being used by thousands, if not millions of users worldwide, they are great to take advantage of to drive more traffic to your site. Driving traffic to your site is actually one of the most important things that you need to achieve, in order to gain more profits from the products or services that you offer through it. With more people visiting your site, you will have more opportunities of exposing your products, and increase the chances of gaining profits from it.

Keep in mind that there are certain steps that you need to take in order to take full advantage of such websites. Aside from setting up an account properly in each of the websites you will make use of, you also need to come up with ways in order to have more people follow your posts, and the links that you would be placing on your account, which lead to the main site that you are conducting your online business on.

The second type of social media marketing as mentioned on top is On-site. Although you can already possibly gain more volume of traffic through your off-site social media marketing efforts, you need to make use of on-site solutions, in order to make sure that people stay long enough in your own website to check out what you have to offer to them. This would mean that you have to improve the kind of content that you have for your site, make use of certain techniques to gain your own brand identity, drive organic traffic from search engine, and such.

In a nutshell, these two types of social media marketing work hand in hand in gaining you more profits in your business. Thus, it is best that you make use of them both, so that you will be able to attain the success that you have been longing for.
