Cut Back on the Use of Paper Products

Paper products are used all the time in our society, and that means more trees are being cut down to keep up with that demand. The trees live off the carbon dioxide that is in the air we breath. As their numbers are depleted, there will be more carbon dioxide remaining in the oxygen we breathe.

There are many ways in which you can cut back on the use of paper both at home and at work. If you get a ton of junk mail each week it can become a chore to weed through all of it. Go online and sign up to opt out of receiving it that way the amount of paper waste in your home will be reduced by about 1/3 without you having to do much about it.

Find out which of your accounts you can get an online statement for. This way you further reduce the amount of paper that comes your way. Log on each month and find out what you owe as well as checking over your statements. If necessary print what information you do need instead of the entire statement.

You can also pay bills online which will save paper in the areas of checks and envelopes. It only takes a few minutes to set up such accounts and then you can do the process each month. If you don’t want to mess with that each month then have the bills taken directly out of your checking account. The fact that this is so convenient is also a terrific benefit that you will certainly want to take advantage of.

Creating a Landing Page

The next step is probably to create a landing page. Of course if you choose to do your affiliate marketing via an advertising platform such as AdWords or Facebook Ads, then you won't actually need a landing page. That said though, with a landing page, you'll be giving yourself many more options for how you want to sell and you'll be able to be more persuasive as you do it.

A landing page is a page that is entirely dedicated to selling a single product – in this case you affiliate product. Thus all of the text will be designed to promote that product and there will be no links that take your readers away from the page. Often these sites are long and narrow which encourages reading and which makes users scroll down the page. The more your visitors scroll, the more committed they will feel to your product and they won't want to leave without making it worth their while.

You should consider using a red colorscheme for your landing page and particularly for the 'Buy Now' or 'Click Here' buttons. This is effective as the color red increases our heartrate and makes us more likely to make impulsive decisions.

You can build a landing page relatively easily using OptimizePress which works with WordPress. This way, you know your landing page will meet industry standards and will look professional and you save yourself the time involved in building something from scratch. You also need to make sure that you get your landing page text right and that it is effective in encouraging sales.

What's important here is that your text engages the audience right away so they don't leave and that it effectively sells the emotional value of your product. Start with a bold sentence, then use questions to get your audience to reflect on what you're saying and use a narrative structure to make your readers more invested in your script. We love listening to stories and very often we'll read to the end just to find out what happens! At the same time, you can use this structure to ensure that your readers are able to empathize with you and imagine themselves in your shoes.

Use the AIDA structure, which means 'Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action'. Then, make sure that you really push the 'value proposition' of your item, which is essentially the thing that makes your item valuable. In other words, how will this affiliate product make life better for buyers. Will it make them richer? Stronger? Slimmer? Sexier? Then say that! And really sell it so they can imagine how good life will be when they click buy. Finally, seal the deal by adding scarcity and time pressure to get them to act quickly.

Making Quick Sales

Now, there are two main strategies you can use to sell your affiliate products online.

One is to try and make very quick sales by marketing directly to your audience with your referral links. You can do this for instance by using PPC advertising – advertising on Facebook or Google with links that take your audience straight to the page where they can buy the product.

The other option is to try and play the longer game. If you build up an audience and establish yourself as an authority in your niche, then you will give yourself an audience that you can sell to much more effectively in future. This latter method ultimately gives you the option to make more money but it takes longer to get results.

How do you choose which method to use? You don't have to! Just start making sales right away and then build your audience in the meantime.

As mentioned, the best way to make these quick sales is with an advertising campaign using PPC ads. The two big options here are Facebook and Google. On Facebook you can create ads that are targeted to specific audience members based on their age, sex, location, marital status, job description and even hobbies. This way, you can very precisely target only people who are likely to want your product and you will only pay when they click to go to the website.

Google AdWords works in a similar manner, except you target by choosing a search term – something that people will look for. This has the benefit of ensuring that your audience is not just interested in what you're selling, but also probably actively looking for it at that very moment!

When using PPC advertising as an affiliate, bear in mind that a good strategy is to include the actual price right in the title of the advert. This way, people won't click unless they're at least potentially willing to pay that amount.

While you will set the exact amount you spend per click and in total, generally each click will cost you only a few cents or a couple of dollars maximum. This means you can have a relatively low conversion rate and still make big profits!

Content Marketing

Meanwhile, the savvy affiliate marketer should also be working on building their audience and establishing themselves as an authority in their niche. You can do this by running a blog and regularly posting with content that provides real value. This is basically like a 'free taster' to effectively show your audience that you know your stuff. In future, when you then recommend they buy something, they will know to listen to you. Make sure that your posts are unique, comprehensive and thoroughly researched.

At the same time, you also need to work on promoting that blog to get people to go there. There are many effective strategies you can use here. One is SEO – which these days mostly means adding lots of content and writing around your topic. At the same time, you can look into acquiring guest posts, which will mean you're published on another blog in exchange for a link back to your site. You should also post to social media and social bookmarking sites.

E-Mail Marketing

Finally, you should also look at marketing through e-mail, both to promote your blog and to promote your products. Add a sign-up form to your main site and this way you can get people who like your content to listen to your future messages. Again, if you spend some time building trust this way, you will eventually find that you can start bringing in big sales by recommending all manner of affiliate products.

Things To Avoid

As easy as some locations can make it to find potential at-home work opportunities, not everyone out there is exactly reputable. With this in mind, it's important to avoid the scammers by taking a cautious approach to any proposition. To avoid problems with at-home work opportunities, freelance contracts and more, make sure to:

Research companies

Don't sign on to sell products for a company without understanding exactly what those products are and what the company's reputation happens to be. If you're freelancing, look into the employer's reputation. Freelance sites, for example, will often offer feedback ratings. For other business opportunities, check with local chambers of commerce or the Better Business Bureau for background information.

Avoid ads that promise the moon and stars

Many advertisements for at-home workers offer a ton of money for a very little bit of work. Others will try to charge you for the opportunity to work for them. Unless it's a franchise with a buy-in fee, be very wary of anyone who tries to get your cash so you can make money. Also, if work at home jobs sound too good to be true, they probably are. Exercise common sense here and do look into backgrounds.

Use contracts

It can become all too easy for freelancers, for example, to slip on this front. Make sure to get clients under contract, even if it's for a single, very short-term job. This protects not only you, but also the freelance employer.

Opportunities that don't fit personal plans

If you're idea is to work at home most of the time and enjoy a flexible schedule, don't sign on for a home-based sales position that will eat up 80 hours a week. Keep all your goals in mind when exploring the possibilities out there.

Finding employers for many at-home positions isn't as difficult as it might sound. There are a number of resources that can make the task rather easy.

Tips For Landing The Job

While not all work-at-home jobs will require interviewing or proposal creation skills, many will. If you've decided you'd like to work for a company that hires at-home employees or on contract for someone locally, for example, you'll want to brush up your interviewing skills. Should you be planning on Internet-based freelancing, you'll need to know how to present yourself in the best possible light through proposals.

Getting A Handle On Interviewing

If you haven't interviewed for a position before or it's been a long time, there are some tips that can help you put your best foot forward. To make sure you do the best you can in any interview situation:

Dress the part

While it might not be necessary to wear a power suit and pumps for every interview, dress neat, clean and professionally. First impressions do matter.

Do your homework

Be ready to answer a variety of questions both job-related and otherwise. Understand the position, the company and what your role might be before going in the door. Also, it's a good idea to prepare for anything that might be thrown your way. Plan for a one-on-one interview, but don't lose your cool if it turns out to be a panel. Just breathe and be yourself.

Make eye contact

This is essential for sending the right message to potential employers. This can help you gain a reputation of being confident, competent and honest - all things employers look for even in at-home workers.

Have a home setup well under way

While you might not need a home office or a good computer setup before you land a position, having plans in the works can give you the edge of initiative you need.

Relax

Try to be as relaxed and confident as possible during any job interview. This will help you answer questions more thoroughly and can also assist you in making a good impression. Even if the position is your "dream," don't psych yourself out by thinking it will be the end of the world if you don't get it. This will undermine confidence and will likely give you a tense appearance.

Sell yourself

Don't be afraid to bring your qualifications, experiences and strengths to the forefront. Remember, an interview is really a sales situation. Rather than a product or service, you will be trying to sell yourself. Perform the task well and you will land the job.

Be honest

Don't try to make yourself out to be more than you are. Be honest in answering questions. If you don't know something, admit it. Stress that you are willing to and capable of learning anything that's thrown your way.

Be realistic

Make sure you are at least reasonably qualified for a position. If the job demands highly specialized skills and you don't have them, it's probably unrealistic to go after the post.

Face-to-face interviews can be rather nerve wracking, but there are ways to ace them. The more prepared and relaxed you are, the better you will come across to potential employers. This can give you the edge you need to bump out the competition.

Landing An Online Job

Interviewing or applying for a job in a virtual setting can be a little trickier. While some positions might also include a face-to-face interview, many do not. This means you'll often have to sell yourself based on credentials and written communications alone. There are some tips that can help you perform here. They include:

Prepare proposals with care

Since it's very likely that you'll have to land the job on written materials alone, putting proposals together right will be imperative. Make sure you take the time to update your resume and qualifications, review your proposal and only offer what you can truly deliver. If you're planning on freelancing, keep your bidding prices competitive.

Make yourself available for follow up

Some freelance employers like to interview candidates on the phone or in chat rooms. Make sure you are available to speak when necessary.

Follow through

Once proposals are submitted, it can be a good idea to follow up with a potential employer and make yourself available to answer any questions. If you're bidding through a freelance matching service this might not be possible, but in other arenas it can be a valuable habit to get into.

Interviewing for a full-time position or even a freelance contract can be a little overwhelming. The more prepared you are for what to expect, the better you are likely to do. With a little confidence, you will make good things happen for yourself.

Honing In On Your Subject

One of the most important rules of eBook writing is focusing solely on the subject at hand. If you had purchased an information product about how to avoid a divorce, you would not expect to see a recipe for children's play dough to pop up in the text, now would you? Of course not! The people who will be buying your eBook do not want to waste their time on information that is irrelevant to the topic. They paid their money to read about one thing! They are looking for solutions to their problem or an answer to the question that's been bugging them - and they want these solutions and answers as fast as possible!

You Absolutely Must Be Specific With Your Subject

The more specific the subject is, the easier it is going to be for you to sit down and write about the topics that people are desperate to know more about. A precise topic is also going to lead more people to you when the time comes for you to market your eBook. Your intended audience will find you on the internet by doing a search for a keyword or a keyword phrase which, to them, is relevant to the topic. If someone was searching for information on candle making, for example, they would go to a search engine and type in -

"How to make candles" which is a very specific search term that will bring back the kind of results they are looking for.

If that person typed in the search term "crafts" they might eventually find some instructions on how to make candles, but these instructions would be mixed in with a whole lot of other instructions for soap making, beading, decoupage, tole painting, and a host of others! They chose a search term that is much too broad, and would probably stop their search in disgust after a page or two of results if they had not found what they were looking for.

It's a heady feeling to take an idea that was born in your head and create an information product out of it without the kinds of restrictions and rules that you would have to abide by if you were writing a book for submission to a publishing company. Writing your own products gives you a sense of freedom and creativity like no other I know of.

Quality Is Key

I often feel as someone who has produced many information products as if I better understand how the people who created some of my favorite music must react the first time they hear one of their songs on the radio. The sight of my very first information product, complete with illustrations and a bright, colorful cover almost brought me to tears! To see the results of my work as a finished product, and to know that my words were going to help someone else made me want to get started on another project right away!

But as eBook writers, you and I have a responsibility to our customers. They are going to be paying out their hard earned money in the hopes of getting some answers, so you want them to feel satisfied with what they received for their money.

This means that we have to create a high quality product, or all our work will have been for nothing. Whenever I develop an information product, I want the people who purchase it to feel as if they got some information that they couldn't have obtained anywhere else -information that is different from what they have seen before, and that may well have the potential to alter their lives for the better.

When you make use of public domain material, the chances are quite good that the information your customers will be eagerly reading IS information that they have been una ble to find anywhere else. I'm sure you have heard of the term "wisdom of the ages".

Some of these older public domain books and articles contain timeless information that is still perfectly fresh and useful in today's world. Often, the older the information, the better, as changing times and ways of accomplishing things have managed to allow some of the old fashioned, tried and true ways of life and lore to fall by the wayside.

So, it's sufficient to say that you want your eBook to be thoroughly researched and a valuable resource for anyone who reads it. You might not think it is necessary to research public domain material. Some information product authors do, and some don't. I am one of the ones that does research anything I pull from the depths of public domain, and here's why.

The Power Of Research

I want to make sure that the author of the public domain material I am using had ideas that go along with the general thinking of the public today, or that are not so far off base that instead of being thought of as helpful tips, they are thought of as an oddity, or something nostalgic, as in "from the olden days".\

It's got to seem fresh, even if it is old. There are ways you can put a modern spin on some information, which will "freshen it up" quite a bit, but other information needs to be carefully considered.

Here is an example for you to think about. Suppose I decided to do an information product on household tips. I'm moving right along, compiling the home economics information I am finding in the various government publications from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. It's an enjoyable task as the subject interests me, and I am actually learning some things as I work. I run across a paragraph about the care of furniture.

Now, you know that furniture back in those days was pretty much all made of solid wood. Mahogany, rosewood, oak... good, REAL woods, not like our particle board and laminate creations of today! So when I read the sentence about oiling furniture, I pause to reflect on it.

How To Catch A Cheating Lover MRR Ebook With Video

SURVEILLANCE GEAR

Beyond searching for signs of cheating, digging through trash, and gathering phone and computer evidence, if you want to proceed to more advanced surveillance, here are some gadgets and methods to help you catch a cheating lover.

GPS MOBILE PHONE

You can purchase a GPS-enabled mobile phone anywhere electronics are sold, along with prepaid minutes. Next, you need to subscribe to an online GPS locator service for a nominal monthly fee. Many telephone companies offer this service as an add-on to their basic package.

Once the phone is fully charged, give it to your partner as a gift to ensure the best reception. Or, you can plant the phone somewhere on their person, in a piece of luggage, or in their vehicle. If you're going the latter route, turn off the ringer and hide the phone under a rear seat. You will lose about 10% reception, but you will be able to perform adequate surveillance. Remove and recharge the phone every few days.

You can track the phone online, by logging onto the website of whatever service you've joined. You only have to enter the number of the mobile phone to immediately access its location. A map will appear on your computer screen, telling you where your partner is at that moment within thirty feet. You can see where the phone has been since you first installed it by checking the location history. You're also able to access maps and directions. You'll know exactly where your partner has been and are one step closer to possibly catching someone who's being unfaithful.

GPS TRACKER

A high-tech GPS tracker is easy to conceal, does not need re-charging, and is considerably more expensive than a GPS-enabled phone. In most jurisdictions, it's only legal to track a vehicle which you own. If you do not co-own your partner or spouse's car, you can install a GPS tracker on your car and lend it to your suspected cheater. Always check with an attorney if you are in doubt about privacy laws regarding the vehicle you want to track.

GPS trackers range in price from $200 to several hundred dollars. Most fit in the palm of your hand, and operate on size-A batteries which last about one month. You can opt for an active GPS tracker which operates in realtime, sending a location every 5 or 10 seconds. You access this information online and pay a monthly fee. Passive GPS trackers cost less and do not require internet fees, but they only provide tracking history, where your vehicle has been and for how long. To access data you retrieve the unit, attach it to your computer and download the information.

ELECTRONIC VIDEO SYSTEM

Video technology is one of the most rapidly changing industries over the past ten years. It's now used for surveillance more than anything else, not the least of which is trying to catch a cheater. Tiny cameras, known as Nanny Cams, are sometimes as small as a penny, others can be hidden inside a writing pen. Cameras can masquerade as a smoke detector, wall clock, desk lamp, radio, necktie, or other covert systems. For as little as a few hundred dollars you can set up a wireless spy-camera in less than an hour.

There's a lot of equipment available, but it's not all top quality. There's nothing more disappointing than purchasing a video system that can barely send a signal across the room. Familiarize yourself with video camera fundamentals before making a purchase. Your local electronics store personnel can offer solid advice, and various online sources provide extensive information about their products.

Basically Nanny Cams are mini TV stations, a camera with a transmitter built inside. The camera transfers video via radio wave to a receiver which converts the signal back to video and displays it on a monitor or sends it to a recording device. The components are: camera/transmitter, receiver, and monitor or recorder. If you want to use more than one camera, you will need an extra component, a switcher, to go back and forth between cameras at set intervals. Learn about the output power of a transmitter, and the frequency at which it transmits. The higher the frequency the better. These systems run off a 9-volt battery and/or electrical power.

Another consideration is whether you're going to record audio. It's perfectly legal to record video images of another person in your home or on your property, if there is no expectation of privacy, say in a bathroom. But it's never legal to intercept their oral communication. If you end up using your spy-cam video in a divorce case, you don't want to risk having it thrown out of court because you also recorded audio. You probably are best off with a video-only camera for spying on a suspected cheater when you're not around, or they're behind closed doors. If you haven't recorded audio, you won't have to worry about an angry cheater suing you for invasion of privacy when you present your evidence.

The cutting edge of spy-cams and surveillance is the PVR, personal video recorder. These are digital camcorders which can be hooked up to record a spy-cam, and can easily be carried covertly in your pocket. Most PVRs

can double as a still camera, tape recorder, or MP3 player, others contain video games. Another new device is the personal-security digital video recorder. It's a stand-alone unit which can be placed in a room and only becomes activated by motion detection. You don't need a VCR or software. For playback, simply plug the unit into the jack on your TV with an ordinary video cable. The unit is about the size of a cigarette pack.

If you want to record outdoors, walking along the beach, at a restaurant or in a store, consider the ''spy-cam mobile phone,'' which is a dummy phone that has been hollowed out to contain a camera and battery. You need to stash the receiver and recorder in a nearby location while you walk around with the "phone" in your hand. Or, you need a second person to carry the receiver and recorder. You might appear to be carrying a mobile phone, but every time you point it at someone or set it down, you're actually videotaping what's going on around you, even if you're looking in the opposite direction.

Blogging Decisions

What is the blogosphere, really? It's a place where anyone—man, woman, child, or automated feed scraper—can slap up templates or build a site of their own and update it with useful(?) information or tales of their weekly shopping trips to their hearts content. It's both a powerful tool utilized by businesses and websites on a daily (or more often) basis and a running personal diary put up online for all to see. The blogosphere is filled with experts and novices, and people who think they are experts who are really novices. It's a mixed-bag of content and expertise, or lack thereof. It's a community experience that knows no real bounds. Or boundaries.

As such, blogs can be a boon or a bust to your affiliate program. Nevertheless, they are being touted as the fastest, easiest, most simplistic way to promote affiliate products and generate sales. But are they? Let's explore both sides of this issue.

Why Blogging Might be a Bust

Many of the very things that make blogging a 'natural' choice for affiliate promotions are what make blogging the wrong way to effectively market as an affiliate.

First of all, let's take on the very blogosphere itself. It's a crowded place. It is true that the blogosphere is filled with a variety of interests, and holds something for everyone, but in the midst of all that interest, it's increasingly hard to be found. Even the best, most prolific, and most dedicated bloggers take months and years to build a solid following. A blog is absolutely not the place to go for instant traffic.

The community aspect of blogging can be great, but couldn't it also be a bust? All that commenting and free-for-all outside commentary might work against you and discredit you. And you need to think about how valuable that following is. This will largely depend on your spectrum of product offerings. If you have a variety of products that a customer might want to come back for, or an upgradeable product suite, staying in touch with buyers could be a great thing. If your product is more of a one-time-only purchase, there's probably no recouping the time investment you will incur.

Content refreshment is one of the biggest recognized benefits of blogging. You can post quickly and easily everyday and thereby please those search engines and hungry blog-followers with new content. There's no denying that. But you need to think this through—how much can you come up with to say about your products? Can you keep your products upfront on a blog? How many times can you spin it? And most importantly, what happens when your well of topics dries up? Those search engines and readers will be waiting for more, and you'll be grasping for new post ideas.

It's easy to get a blog started and keep it running for a few months, but Big Dog kind of income demands that you construct a more long-term plan. Theoretically a blog is a long-term prospect, but without something new to say, one can only live so long.

We also need to tackle the issue of being able to feature multiple products. This flies right in the face of the discussion we just had in the last chapter, doesn't it?

By doing that, you're dividing your forces and taking the focus away from your top-seeded efforts. You've created a marketplace of confusion, and you've made it hard to figure out what the right—simple—solution is.

We also need to talk about blogs from a structural standpoint. Unless you can build your own blog (and even if you can this is tough...), blogs and templates do not allow for a high level of flexibility. There is a basic structure, and it is very hard to add the buttons and features in the places you need them to be. Consider, too, that sometimes the structure and design you've worked so hard for may be impacted (rearranged) by the length and amount of your postings.

Now it might sound like we're completely anti-blogging for affiliate programs, but that's not exactly the case. Let's wrap this discussion up by looking at how a blog might still be a useful tool.

Website & Content

The obvious choice would be to put that effort into your website and content. You can achieve the same results by simply refreshing the content of your website. You can add to its archives and additional resources sections (without muddying the primary pages we established before), and still give current information and additional value to your customers and to the search engines.

Not only can you add additional content, but you can test and tweak and change the content you have and test it against past versions. As you'll learn, even very small, seemingly insignificant changes can really make a big difference to traffic and conversions. Spend the time you would spend posting on a blog to look for ways that you can tweak or enhance your website.

And don't forget—you've got that master site to build. Instead of devoting time to a minimal-return blog, why not get started on your big catch-all so that you can dominate your niche traffic?

Articles, Articles and More Articles

All the articles you write, or hire out to a freelance writer to have written, do not need to be posted on your website. In fact, they shouldn't be. Use those primary articles and tutorials on your site, add some new stuff now and again to keep everyone happy, and then submit to article directories. Utilize profile and link capabilities to link back to your website, the authority on Widgets. (You might know this method by other popular names, like "Bum Marketing” or "Article Marketing.")

15 Im Questions Answered MRR Ebook With Video

I Don't Have My Own Product. What Can I Sell?

A good question that comes up on many occasions, even many of my close friends who see me sitting here working away whenever I feel like it. They often ask me, 'How can I start my own business?' The response comes that you need an idea first for your own product. After a quick pondering look towards the sky, they turn back and reply, but I don't have my own products what can I sell?

Well, the simple answer is if you don't have your own product you're going to have a hard time selling anything, online or offline. There's so much raw promotion power that comes with having your own products. Look at it this way, without them, you can't joint venture, you can't have an army of affiliates promoting for you, you can't control the sales process and gain new knowledge through your research, you can't build up your resources for future promotion, in fact, there isn't much good to come out of not having your own product.

So make one. The longer time you spend looking around in your target market, the easier it will be to come up with ideas for your own product. I don't expect to plant this guide in front of a random person who thinks all we do is send e-mails out all day and scam people (which seems to be the usual joke when I mention to someone that I'm in online marketing) and then tell them to create a product out of the blue.

In much the same way, if this was literally your first day in the business I wouldn't expect you to be able to go out and create your own online marketing product. You need to have the knowledge first, even if you're not creating an info product. Once you've found yourself mingling with the crowd and getting down and buying products and talking to people, it's very rare that you can come out of a situation without coming up with a new idea, even out of the simplest of situations.

A good example of this is a conversation I had a couple of weeks ago with a fellow marketer. He'd just written a shed load of reports and wanted to do something a little special with them. Unfortunately he had to go through each one manually and do this by hand. We just could not find a piece of software to do this for him (Sorry, I can't tell you exactly what it is, because it sounded like that would be his next venture). But as you can see, just by living as an online marketer, it's real easy to come up with product ideas that are solutions to problems you might have.

How about revelations? I've had these too, not necessarily with online marketing, but when you're trying to figure out how to do something, and after a long while thinking, it comes to you, you try it out, and it works like a charm. That's valuable information you have there that could easily be sold. Remember that when you come to creating a product, it doesn't have to be a piece of furniture or something that costs hundreds of

dollars to manufacture, it can be something as simple as information contained within your head that people will want to buy, or a piece of software, that also generally has low overheads, as you can pay someone to complete the build and then go off and sell it.

The choices really are endless, and the more ideas you come up with the more ideas those ideas will spawn. It only takes one idea to create a five or six product venture that could last you a whole year. Whatever you do though, don't skip over this. Don't say ah well, I'll just promote other peoples stuff, because you'll find yourself in the same position this time next year going about things like that. It's all about creating products that allow you to build your resources, and starting out not creating your own, is out of the question.

I'm Worried That I Won't Succeed, What Do I Do?

Moving on now to question number six. If you're worried that you won't succeed this time, or that people won't like your work, have no fear because you're not alone, and I believe that this is healthy to an extent. As far as my experience shows me, there are three types of people out there. The first type are those who don't really care. They just want to make some money so they throw any old thing out there as quickly as they can. This is surely unhealthy, and we can't be doing with bad quality products.

Then there are type two, who are indeed bothered about what people want out of a product, what the reactions will be and so on. For this reason they make sure everything is up to scratch and the best they can make it before it's released. As far as I can tell, the majority of good marketers are at this stage. That doesn't mean anyone who isn't doesn't have the ability, but it could well mean they're stuck in a rut, and going nowhere fast, and this is where things get damaging.

Type three, the marketers that want everything to go smoothly, just as the above states, but have a problem getting anything done because either, they've failed before and have a problem coming back from that, or they're worried what people might say to them, which some of the time will be things they really didn't want to hear. For example, a straight up no I'm not interested in your joint venture proposal and on the lighter side of things, and the odd strange customer that decides to send abusive mails. (We all have one no matter how good the product, let me assure you, in which case a cool, polite helpful reply often does the job to fix the situation).

Work As Much or As Little As You Want

Want to get paid more? Then work more. Want to just have a fun, profitable project on the side? Then work less!

What's great about AdSense is that there's no obligation whatsoever. It's not like having an employer that's asking you to get a certain amount of clicks per month - It's entirely up to your own personal discretion how much or how little you want to make, how much or how little you want to work.

You set your own hours, your own dates, and your own vacations. Of course, the more you work the more you'll make. The amount of work you want to do is completely up to you.

The Money is More or Less Passive

The money you make is more or less passive income - Meaning that once you put the work in, you'll get paid whether you do more work or not.

It's not 100% passive - If you have your website making $1,000 a month, that amount will gradually go down over the course of a year or two if you don't put any new content up.

But could you take a 3 month vacation to France while continuing to get paid and not putting any work in? Absolutely! In fact, you could easily take a 3 month vacation without taking a hit on your income.

Could you build a business, get a day job and effectively be getting paid double - While putting just a couple of hours a week into maintaining your income? Of course!

The income you'll make from AdSense is about 90% passive. You can leave it for a period of months and you could do almost no work on it and it will keep coming in. It takes just a little bit of work to maintain it at its current level or just a bit more work than that to have it continue to increase.

You Can Do Something You Love - And Get Paid for It

What are your passions or hobbies? If you could get paid for anything, what would it be?

One thing about AdSense is that you can make money promoting just about any kind of website. If your passion is fly fishing, you could easily create a fly fishing website, put AdSense on it and get paid for it.

If your passion is health, you can get paid for that as well. Even if it's something obscure - Like how to raise a Rottweiler, you can get paid for that too.

Just about any topic you're interested in, that others might be interested in as well, you can make money from through Google AdSense. In other words, you can make passive income from your own home doing what you love to do. Any topic that you're passionate about, you can make money from.

Easy Learning Curve

Unlike many other internet businesses, Google AdSense has a very easy to follow learning curve.

A typical business's learning curve could take you up to 6 months -Maybe even longer before you make any money. You have to learn how to sell, how to write marketing copy, how to collect money, how to get traffic, how to merchandise, how to manage, etc.

Fortunately, you won't have to go through such a steep learning curve. With Google AdSense, you can start making money within your very first week.

The learning curve is very easy. Learning how to install Google's code takes about 30 minutes. Getting traffic and getting paid might take you a week to learn. Apart from that, there's very few skills you need to learn.

Then you're off towards making however much you want to make!

This is a ZERO Startup Cost Business!

Most other internet businesses have huge startup costs. A typical internet business would cost $1,000+ to startup - sometimes as much as $10,000 and up. Initial merchandise, merchant accounts, shopping carts, etc all cost a fair amount of money to get started with.

With AdSense, your startup cost is quite literally zero. Web hosting and a domain name do cost money - About $10 each - But even those are optional if you choose to hose your sites on a Blogger or Wordpress site.

For under $50, you can start making money online today. In no other time in history has this been possible. There's literally no reason not to get started today.

Rinse and Repeat

There's no limit to how many times you can rise and repeat the AdSense profit formula. Unlike, say, a chair business where you'd be starting competition with yourself, with Google AdSense you can literally start as many different websites as you want.

If you've started a successful Fly Fishing website making $500 a month, you could just as easily start a website about internet marketing and make another $500 a month.

However many times you choose to rinse and repeat is at your own discretion.

How You Get Paid

Google sends you a check once a month with the total amount of money you've earned from Google AdSense.

If you've been making $10 a day, at the end of the month Google will send you a check for $300.

You don't need to fill out tax forms until you've made a certain amount of money. There's no payment processing system you need to setup. Getting paid is fast, easy and intuitive.

You Can Get Started Now

With many businesses, you have to wait weeks or months before you can start earning your first dollars:

First, you have to incorporate, which could take up to a month. Then you need to get your merchant accounts and payment processors online, which could take another 2-4 weeks. Then you need to get your products ready, which could take weeks. The wait times pile up on and on while you're shelling money out of your own pocket to cover expenses.

With Google AdSense, there's no such wait times. All you need to do is start your website now and start getting some traffic.

The moment you start getting traffic is the moment you start getting paid. This could take as little as one week before you start seeing money come into your bank account!

5 FIRST DATE DATING TIPS FOR SENIORS

You are contemplating asking her out for your first date. The problem is you don't know whether you can do it. Well, you know you can ask her out, the difficulty is if you can do it the right way. It has been a long time - we are talking decades here, since you asked anyone out. Not only have you changed, but so, too, has dating. It is a whole, new world out there and you are not sure whether you can take it on without flopping miserably.

Such anxieties are natural. You want to make sure you clinch the date. You do not want to be rejected. If you do nothing, however, someone else may ask her out. You will then be left at home going nowhere and not doing what you really want to do. Is this what you want?

In fact, the first thing you need to do is to look closely at what you do want. Be honest. Why are you interested in asking this woman out? The reasons do vary from when you were first dating. They could be any of the following:

Someone to talk to

A friend to go with me to movies, concerts and parties

Companionship

Someone to do my washing, cooking and cleaning

A person to take care of me

Someone to share the rest of my life with

Sex

Whatever your reason, you need to be honest. You also need to realize the first person you ask out may not match your criteria. Like when you were younger, you will have to have a first date more than once to find what and whom you want. You also have to be ready for rejection. Not everyone you ask will want to go out with you. They all have their reasons. Let's just hope it has nothing to do with your current track record. If you suspect this to be true, you need to carefully consider the advice provided below.

One of the obstacles to dating is the change in dating habits. Women have become more liberal as time has sped on. They assume a first date is just that a first date. They no longer feel so obligated to find a partner. In fact, the women you successfully ask out have probably been married already. Depending upon their experience, they may not want to marry again - ever. It is their prerogative.

Another problem is where to go. If you once enjoyed going to nightclubs or single bars, you are unlikely to find any specifically designed with senior dating in mind. If you date likes such things as jazz or folk, you can still locate several of these clubs. These venues are usually quieter. You can actually talk and frequently dine. There are also older dance clubs where you can learn and have a good time dancing.

Finding a place to take your date is part of the challenge. You can go to a library or bookstore. Here, you can catch a lecture or a book signing. Sometimes, these places host book clubs. A discussion of the authors in a group setting can help you break the ice. Conversation can flow more easily if you have something about which the both of you can talk.

If you are still active, take her to a sporting event. Better still, go off and play tennis. Take a brisk walk or hike scenic trails. You may decide to go to an art gallery for an opening or a museum. Why not take her antiquing or to a farmers' market or flea market. This provides you with plenty of things to look at and on which to converse. Perhaps a fair is in town or there is a special lecture.

Always consider what the two of you have in common. Always consider the amount of mobility you two are capable of maintaining. If she is a sedentary, stick with something quiet, with places you can sit down and talk. It could be a lunch or dinner date. It could also be a park or botanical garden with benches scattered in strategic spots.

If you both like sports go golfing, catch a baseball game, go to the track or play tennis. Make the most of the date. Seize the opportunity to make it comfortable and memorable. If you want to see her again, you have to give her a reason why she should do so.

PREPARING FOR ASKING THE QUESTION

One way to prepare yourself for asking her out is to research her. Knowing something about her besides her name will help you determine whether you are compatible. It will indicate common interests. It will also help you to decide whether your needs/wants and her needs and wants have any common ground. Doing your homework may also help you relax when you actually pose the question. You will have more than an idea of who she is and what she likes. This may increase the chances of your venture being successful. You will know what she might want to go to see. This will improve your confidence. It helps you ask her. Be confident, but do not be cocky.

In fact, one of the major problems with many senior men is attitude. They know single senior women outnumber them. As a result, some feel they are doing a woman a favor by asking her out. You are not. Abandon any condescending tones or mannerisms. Some women are divorced because they have had enough of this same attitude. They do not owe their happiness to a man.

Another problem is vanity. Do not lie about your age. What is the point? You should be proud you are still alive and functioning. You have experience and, hopefully, have accumulated wisdom in some form or other. Moreover, the truth of these matters always comes out. When it does, it will throw some doubts on your credibility in other areas. This will decrease your chances of obtaining any more first dates.

In fact, it is important you be honest in your intent and in your words. By now, older women have a built-in lie detector. They are as experienced as you are, and not easily fooled. You need to be direct in your approach. You need to ask the question in a plain and clear manner. You also need to make apparent this is a first date and not a lifetime commitment.
