Luckily, there is a way to improve your life even during the most chaotic or stressful of times. Studies have shown that mindfulness is a key technique for improving your body, mind, and spirit no matter the situation, even times of chaos.

In short, mindfulness is the act of being in the present, but there is more to it than that. In this book, we will learn what mindfulness is and key techniques for becoming more mindful. As a result, you will learn how to improve your entire essence during these chaotic and challenging times.

Who Should Read This Book?

In the last two chapters, we discuss how meditation can affect mindfulness and offer key tips on how to bring together all of the tools we have learned in the book. Without further ado, let us get started learning about mindfulness and how it can improve your entire essence and well being.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?

Mindfulness is the ability to be completely in the present, as opposed to thinking about the past, future, or any other event that takes us away from the present time. Being mindful includes being aware of where we are, what we are doing, and how we feel. More so, it includes being in touch with ourselves, knowing our limits, and understanding our goals and desires for life.

As humans, it is easy to get swept away by other thoughts and events than the present. This causes us to be the opposite of mindful, wreaking havoc on our physical, mental, and emotional health. For example, stress in the workplace can distract us from appreciating our family, causing problems in the home. Mindfulness can help.

All people are capable of mindfulness, even if it seems hard. Our brains are completely capable of focusing on the present and honing out the distractions of life. With that being said, it can be incredibly difficult to do this, which is why mindfulness practices are so helpful. Practicing mindfulness can teach us and train us to better focus on the present, allowing us to ignore anything else that may be a distraction.

Understanding The Point Of Mindfulness

Before starting your mindfulness journey, it is important to understand what mindfulness can and cannot do for you. If you have unrealistic expectations about mindfulness, it can be incredibly easy to feel like mindfulness is not working and give up on the practice completely.

Many people believe that mindfulness is about attaining some state of bliss. Bliss is often described as some state of perfect happiness that is oblivious to other factors surrounding it. It is important to recognize that mindfulness is not about reaching a state of bliss. This state is impossible to reach because there will always be challenges and difficulties in life that disrupt this so-called state. In other words, bliss does not exist.

With that being said, mindfulness can and should make you feel happier and more content with your overall life, but it is more realistic about it. This allows mindfulness to be geared towards appreciating your life and self better. It helps you see past short-term struggles and appreciate the life you have, even in the bad times.

For this reason, the point of mindfulness is to help you live a better life. Living a better life includes being more content in your situation, responding more compassionately and rationally in difficult situations, and being more compassionate with yourself and others. Mindfulness is not about creating a perfect life, but it is about creating the life you want and are excited to live.

If you understand that this is the point of mindfulness, you can more easily set realistic goals for your mindfulness training. These goals should reflect your current abilities and future wants so you are actively pursuing your ideal life.

It is important to note that mindfulness is not about being in the present all the time. As humans, we would become completely overwhelmed and overloaded if we stayed in the present all day, every day. There are times in our lives when we should think about the past, future, or nothing at all.

Chapter 01 - Introduction

To this day, it amazes me that more people aren’t aware of the HUGE potential that the internet represents when it comes to earning money.

This is not just an option for those lucky, tech-savvy entrepreneurs; this is something that anyone can

start doing with amazing effects. If you know how to use a computer, then you could be earning money online.

Not only that, but you could be earning passive income. That means you could be earning money while you sleep. And those passive income business models don’t need to be complicated to set up by the way. This is something you can start doing in days if not hours.

Some online business models are so shockingly simple that they literally involve doing little more than ‘copying and pasting’ an exciting business model to start making it work for you.

And it’s not just money that you can stand to gain by doing all this. Running a business online gives you a way to make money doing something you love and that you’re truly passionate about. More than that, it will allow you to develop a small amount of fame.

Can you imagine how rewarding it would be to get emails from strangers telling you that your videos or your blog posts changed their lives?

This can be a stepping stone to great things. It can be a way to find yourself on TV some day. It can lead to a publishing contract.

It can help you to create other products that you’ve always dreamed of – imagine the sense of accomplishment that comes from seeing something that you thought of in stores.

And if you already run a business or if you’re someone that works for another company, then you can even use a basic understanding of internet marketing in order to promote that existing organization and grow it to entirely new heights.

If the web can do all that for an individual, imagine how much it could grow your business. Imagine how many new visitors you can drive to your website, how many new customers you could drive to your products and just how little time, effort and money all of it could cost you…

In short, there is no limit to what you can accomplish using internet business and it’s something that everyone should be involved in.

Whether you like the idea of having a blog that people read and enjoy, whether you want to make a little money on the side, whether you want to boost your existing organization, or whether you want to grow your own internet empire.

That All Sounds Great! But I Don’t Have the Time or the Knowledge!

Maybe you’ve heard some of this pitch before. Maybe friends have told you how their lives changed when they started earning money online. Maybe you’ve read the blogs of other internet marketing gurus that promote the benefits of earning money on the web.

Maybe you’re just smart enough to see the opportunities there in front of you.

So why haven’t you don’t anything about it yet?

Well, if you’re like a lot of other people, then the answer likely comes down to two factors:

- Time

- And knowledge

You probably don’t know enough about the web or how it operates in order to see the precise opportunities that are there for you.

You probably don’t yet know how to go about setting up a website, let alone filling it with the kind of content that people fall over to read, creating a product to sell from it, or promoting it so that people all around the world are able to discover it (without trying to!).

And perhaps you’re not yet familiar with all the different types of business that you can create online. Perhaps for instance, you didn’t know that you could start making money by selling books that you didn’t even create!

And the other issue is time. You’d love to learn all this stuff, but do you really have the time?

Then there’s the idea of actually running the business day-to-day. If you’re already a busy professional, how can you possibly afford the time to build an additional business on top of the one that already takes up the vast majority of your time?

Especially if you’re also a family man or woman, or even just someone with an active social life!

That’s where this book comes in. In these pages, you’re going to discover everything you need to know to start running a massively successful business in your spare time.

You don’t need to know a single thing about SEO, building a website or even business just yet: you’re going to learn how the web works, how people make their money and how you can get in on the action.

We’re going to focus on the fastest and most effective ways to start making money online. You’re going to discover business models that you can easily implement in a matter of hours or even less.

And you’re going to discover how you can create businesses that run themselves so that you don’t have to.

I’m serious: you can start making thousands of dollars each month from a business that will take you less than a few hours to set up. There’s an element of luck involved sure, but the worst case scenario is that you’ll earn a few hundred a month.

A few hundred a month.

Introduction

Facebook is a massive traffic monster. As of this writing, it has over 1.3 billion, and that's with a capital B, daily active users.

Think about that, over 1.3 billion people using the same website day

after day. On top of this, it continues to grow.

Also, when people are on Facebook, they pretty much stay there, and they view page after page of content. In fact, on a month to month basis, Facebook has slightly over 2 billion monthly active users.

Of all Americans, 79% use Facebook at some level or another.

If this wasn't impressive enough, the next platform that gets the highest percentage of American users is Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. Instagram clocks in at 32% of American usage.

Among US residents, 53% reportedly use Facebook several times a day.

In terms of the world's total population, more than 22% of people on the planet use Facebook with some level of frequency.

The point is, Facebook is a massive traffic monster. You really cannot afford to miss out on Facebook and its marketing potential.

If this wasn't impressive enough, wait, it gets even more mind blowing. Once people log into Facebook, the system basically keeps tight surveillance on them. And the crazy thing is that this is all done with their permission.

When you sign up for Facebook, there is a user license agreement that you must consent to. Unless you read the fine print, you wouldn't become fully aware that once you sign in, every like, comment, share, as well as pages that you liked and even ads that you clicked, will be monitored by Facebook.

It's as if by watching your behavior, Facebook can make educated guesses as to what your interests are and can then show you advertising that fits those interests. Sounds pretty fair, right?

Well, this extends across the board. That's right, every group you join as well as interactions on Messenger are monitored, tracked and targeted by Facebook.

This is not lightweight targeting, mind you. When it comes to fine laser targeting of demographic groups based on individual user behavior, nothing even comes close to Facebook.

As awesome as these traffic statistics, advertising technologies, and promotion potential may be, I've got some bad news to report. Too many businesses still fail to fully leverage Facebook.

This training teaches you the best ways to promote on Facebook. It also gives you step by step instructions, so you can engage in Facebook marketing with a higher than average chance of success.

Chapter 01 - Facebook Marketing – Mistakes to Avoid

There are very common marketing mistakes that even promotion veterans commit on Facebook. It seems like even the very best of us are not immune to these common mistakes.

It's a good idea, if you want to save a

lot of time, effort and money at this point, to become aware of these mistakes.

This will decrease the likelihood that you will probably commit these same errors.

Starting Off Paid Campaigns with a Bang

Do not start off your paid campaigns with a bang. Start with a free campaign first, build your audience organically, get some consumer intelligence, then you should have the information you need to put together an experimental paid marketing campaign.

Start low and slow. The worst thing you can do is to jump in with a massive budget, and absolutely no clue.

Starting a Paid Campaign with an Immature Page

If your page is very new or there's really not that much engagement yet, you might want to hold off on a paid campaign. You simply don't have enough target audience profiling information to base a successful paid campaign on.

Using Mass Content Posters with Discovery Tools

Many marketers use some sort of one-size-fits-all mass promotions tool for Facebook. They would discover all sorts of Facebook groups and pages, and then they would use this tool to spam those areas.

Don't do that. You're not doing your brand any favors when you do that. All you're really doing is you're spamming.

It’s only a matter of time until you get banned!

Promoting Direct Affiliate Links or Direct Sales Page Links

There's an old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." By the same token, you can get a lot of people on Facebook to click on your links, but don't expect them to convert once they go to that affiliate sales page or your own direct sales page.

Why won’t people buy? After all, they did

click on your ad, right? Answer: they haven't been properly qualified. In many cases, they clicked out of curiosity. Maybe they clicked by mistake.

Whatever the case, you still did not get a sale!

How to Create Amazing Home

HIIT Workouts

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is currently one of the most popular health trends to hit the industry.

The basic idea behind HIIT is simple: you alternate between periods of high intensity, such as sprinting, and periods of lower intensity such as jogging. This is a form of training that allows us to burn more calories and enjoy better health benefits in a shorter space of time compared with many other types of training.

But while HIIT is a great tool for getting into shape, it’s important to recognize that it’s only as useful as the way in which you approach it. There are right and wrong ways to perform HIIT and a lot of people make the mistake of getting so excited with this new type of training that they forget to approach it in a structured and well thought-through manner.

In this guide then, we will be looking in detail at how you can go about making an amazing HIIT home workout that will help you to both build muscle and burn fat. You will see how to transform your body using this incredible form of training and you will learn some incredibly powerful strategies for getting even more from it.

HIIT: The Basics

Before we get into a lot of detail regarding how you can go about enhancing a typical HIIT workout, it first makes sense for us to recap on precisely what HIIT is to begin with, how it works and what makes it such a powerful and useful method for getting into shape.

What does alternating between higher and lower intensity actually do to the body and why is this so transformative for weight loss?

Essentially, when you engage in high intensity exercise, this is classified as anything where your heart rate is exceeding 90% of its maximum. That means you’re working as hard as you can and placing a massive demand on your body’s systems to supply energy.

That in turn means that you’re going too fast for your body to rely on the aerobic system – which is what it uses when you engage in regular ‘steady state’ cardio (cardio training where you jog at a relatively slow pace.

Because you’re going to fast, this means that you need a more efficient form of energy, which means the body has to use the stored glycogen and ATP that is already in your muscles. This can only last so long before you get a build up of metabolites and reach your ‘lactate inflection point’ at which you will be forced to slow down and return to your aerobic system.

What’s so great about this, is that you are now training your efficiency and your body’s ability to exert itself at maximal levels. Moreover, this will change the way your body reacts to regular aerobic exercise subsequently. Specifically, because you will have used up all the glycogen and ATP that’s immediately available to your muscles during the intensive exercise, you will find that your body becomes more efficient at burning calories that it gets from fat for the remainder of the workout. You then jog for as long as it takes to restore your glycogen and to remove the lactate in the blood, and can then return to exercise. This is not only great training for improving athletic performance (it can improve your lactate threshold, which in turn is incredibly useful for increasing your running ability); but it is also incredible for fat burning.

This is partly because you then continue the rest of your day with lower levels of glycogen after you have finished exercising. With these lower levels of glycogen, you’ll then be forced to burn fat even for regular activities such as walking around and climbing stairs. This then causes what is known as the ‘afterburn effect’– which leads to enhanced fat burn for the rest of the day following a HIIT workout.

For these reasons, HIIT is able to help you improve your athletic performance and fitness more than regular cardiovascular exercise and it is also able to help you burn a lot more calories.

Moreover, HIIT is also superior when it comes to convenience (because you can use a range of different exercises) and time – you can get a full HIIT workout in half the time or less compared with a regular cardio workout.

This is the power of HIIT, but you’re about to learn how to get even more from it!

How to Craft the Perfect Fat Burning Workout

The first thing we’re going to look at when it comes to crafting the perfect fat burning workout, is the type of exercise you perform.

When you engage in regular steady-state cardio (running for 40 minutes at the same pace for example), you only really have a few different things to choose from. These include:

- Running

- Skipping

- Rowing

- Swimming

- Cycling

And a couple of others. These are relatively low impact exercises that can be continued endlessly for over an hour without too many negative repercussions. That said, even just jogging for that long will have some negative impacts on your health and particularly on your knees.

Conversely, HIIT workouts are ideal because they break the exercise up into smaller, more palatable chunks. This means that you can exercise using more intensive and potentially impactful moves and not fatigue your joints or your muscles too quickly.

For example, you can’t use press ups for a steady state cardio workout. But you can use press ups during a HIIT workout.

Likewise, you can’t use weights for a CV workout but you can use them for a HIIT workout!

If you use a split where you go all-out for 30 seconds and then rest for 1 minute, there’s nothing to stop you using even compound movements like deadlifts and bench press (well, there is a caveat here, which we’ll get to in a moment).

The 7 Step Blueprint To Rewiring Your Mind For Success

Consider the world’s most successful people. Or better yet, consider the people in your own life who you consider to be successful.

What do they have in common?

There are lots of things but a few points that may be coming to mind are:

- Drive, passion and determination
- Charisma, confidence – possibly looks
- Presence and swagger
- Courage and determination
- Creativity and inventiveness
- Positivity

These are the people who come into your workplace, looking fantastic and knocking it out the park every single day. The guys are dressed in fantastic-looking suits that fit them perfectly of course. The women are in pencil skirts with amazing heels that no one else would be able to walk in.

They look immaculate and they charm themselves up the corporate ladder. Maybe you’ve been around their house and seen that it is completely pristine and beautifully decorated. Maybe you’ve introduced them to your friends and they’ve been completely charming and magnetic.

You would hate these people… if only they weren’t so decent and great to be around! Which of course just makes it all the more frustrating…

But instead of being frustrated, you should instead try to be inspired. What is it that they have that you don’t? How can you go about accomplishing the same things for yourself? How can you be ‘one of those people’?

This 7-step blueprint will show you how…

Step 1: Know What You Want

The first step to success is to know exactly what you want. You have to know your passions and your dreams and you need to know what motivates you. It might sound simplistic but it’s something that all too many people are completely unaware of. Ask someone what their dream is and they might tell you ‘to make senior management’. That’s not exactly a very inspiring goal…

But what if you aren’t one of those people who has always had a singular dream? Who has always known exactly what they wanted? What can you do then to accomplish your goals?

To solve this problem, a good strategy is to think in terms of ‘visions’ rather than goals. What is your ‘vision’ for the future? Picture your perfect future and picture what life would be like if you had everything go exactly your way.

There will be some abstract concepts and some tangibles but either way, you can start to break it down into things that you can actually accomplish.

Another tip? Ask yourself when in your life you have been happiest. And what was it about that time that made you so happy?

Step 2: Break it Down Into Small Goals

Next, you need to break down that abstract vision into smaller goals that you can move toward. That means that you stop thinking in the long term and stop thinking about grand visions – instead you think about small steps you can take every day, or that you can take every week, that will help you to get to the point that you need to be at.

For example, if your vision involves being in incredible physical shape, then your daily steps might involve working out for 15 minutes a day, or perhaps eating 1,800 calories a day. If your goal is to be a best-selling novelist, then your small steps will involve writing a page every night.

Instead of daydreaming, it’s time to get realistic and to actually start implementing realistic steps to getting what you want. No more excuses!

Step 3: Keep Your Vision in Mind

While performing these small steps though, you must always keep that overarching vision in mind. This is what will have the emotional hook for you and it’s what is going to give you the impetus to keep going even when you’re tired.

And this is also why it’s so important that your vision be true to who you are – that this is really want you want from life and not what you think you should want – or what other people want for you.

Too often we chase after goals that we associate with ‘success’ only because that is what we have been taught. If your goal is to become CEO for example, then there’s a good chance that this is actually just your idea of what success should look like – rather than what you really want.

Think once again about the people in your life and from the media who are truly successful. These people are truly passionate about what they do. These people wake up every morning excited to work toward their goal. And it’s because of that that they never tire, that they never run out of energy. Think about Obama, about Arnold Schwarzenegger, about Dwayne Johnson, about Usain Bolt… have you ever seen these people looking tired and disinterested? Can you imagine them getting home and slumping on the couch because they’re too tired and too disheartened to work?

No one wants to get older but unfortunately, until they discover an elixir of youth, it’s unavoidable.

But just because you must get older, no one said you had to do it quickly. And no one said you couldn’t age well and keep your youthful good looks, energy and health!

Many of us assume that getting old automatically must mean getting covered in wrinkles, losing our ability to walk around and eventually developing incontinence and dementia. As it happens though, none of these things are inevitable and most of them are only partially related to age!

And you can see this too just by looking around! While some people seem to be struggling to stand up straight and remember their name at age 65, others are still playing sports and writing books well into their 80s and 90s. Is the difference entirely genetic? Not at all! In fact, there are numerous lifestyle changes that can make all the difference to the way you feel as you age and many of the problems that are associated with old age can be avoided entirely.

So yeah, Aging is still inevitable. But the way you age is almost entirely up to you!

The difference comes down to your knowledge and your ability to apply that knowledge to make the most of your own body and health. YOU have the choice and the sooner you act, the more effectively you can stave off the most unappealing aspects of getting older.

Yes, that’s right, this isn’t just a book for ‘old people’. It’s for young people too. In fact, it’s more aimed at young people because you are the ones who have the time to ensure you get the very most out of your body and mind as you get older.

But How Do You Slow Aging?

Anyone can claim that Aging is something you have control over. The hard part is backing that claim up with some hard evidence.

How can you really slow down your Aging? And how can your decisions end up putting your body in ‘fast forward’ mode?

Here are some examples…

Mobility

A lot of people will tell you that your knees have a finite amount of time before they start to tire out. The same goes for your back. But more and more, we’re discovering that’s not true. The ‘functional strength’ crowd are making it very apparent that you can keep on training into old age and that in fact, things like running should give you more longevity.

The problem is just the way we’re training. And our lack of activity generally.

The way it goes for many people is that they stay very fit and healthy when they’re younger because they run around, play sports and generally engage in activity. Once they’re middle aged though, they slow down and they start sitting at the computer all day long. Their metabolism slows down yes but most of the changes they see in their body are really a result of being constantly stressed and constantly static. This results in muscle imbalances caused by maintaining the same posture for so long and it results in injury when they do get active. Don’t use your back long enough and it’s sure to go when you try and lift that suitcase!

This injury then leads to ‘corrective’ posture and biomechanics. You have a bad knee or back, so you put more weight on the other leg/you hunch over. This in turn means that you exacerbate the muscle imbalances that you already had. And the longer this goes on, the more of a hunch and a limp you can start to acquire and the more pain you can expect to experience. The solution is not to be less active but to be more active – while making sure to use the correct technique.

Energy

Meanwhile, staying active can also boost your energy levels and help you to start feeling better. That means the tiredness and sluggishness that we feel as we get older again isn’t inevitable.

When you combine the right exercise regime with the right diet, you can increase not only your heart strength and circulation but also the efficiency of your mitochondria. Mitochondria are the small ‘energy factories’ of your cells. They exist to help you convert glucose into useable energy (ATP) and their number and strength is one of the big determining factors that influences your energy output and the way you feel.

In fact, differences in mitochondria have been suggested to be one of the main differentiating factors between the energy levels of young children and those of older individuals. Its why kids seem to be able to run around and around in circles for hours screaming, without ever tiring out.

Nutrition

Nutrition is also responsible for a large proportion of the problems you’ll struggle with as you get older. Contrary to popular belief, many of the health issues associated with old age are cumulative and result from years of poor nutrition. A lack of nutrients can lead to problems with vision, problems with hormone production, problems with bone density and much more. Thus, by eating the right diet, you can stave off numerous conditions and stay healthier and stronger into older age.

Toxins, Cell Damage and Heart Problems

Many of the health complaints associated with old age can also be combated with the right lifestyle. Sure, it’s always possible to be unlucky and to suffer from cancer with no cause’ as such. But this is much less likely if you can protect yourself with the very best, healthy lifestyle choices. For example, heart disease is one of the leading killers in men by far but it is very much possible to reduce the risk of this problem by getting plenty of exercise and sticking to a diet designed to keep your blood pressure and cholesterol at the most desirable levels.

Brain

The same rules apply to your brain as to the rest of your body. In other words, if you keep your nutrition up and keep using your brain it will stay nimble.

We’ll get into all of this and a lot more in greater detail in the subsequent chapters but hopefully this is enough of an explanation to make a believer of you. The point is, you do have control over the way you age and if you take the right precautions then you can stay healthy, mobile and able well into older age.

This book is going to act as your road map and your blueprint to help you do exactly that. Follow these tips and you’ll be able to fortify your body against the invading forces of old age!

Chapter 2: Fine Tuning Your Mental

Clarity daily

So where to start? How about with the mind, seeing as the mind leads and the body follows? If you can keep your brain sharp and your mind nimble, then you will be able to enjoy life in at least some capacity and maintain your dignity. What’s more though, is that a healthy mind will help to automatically give you a stronger and healthier body. Your mind controls your movements after all, and this is the key to maintaining good biomechanics and muscle control.

So, let’s look at the issues that you might struggle with in this department as you age and how you can keep those problems at bay…

Cognitive Decline with Old Age

The thing we most often associate with age-related cognitive decline is forgetfulness. When you reach a certain age, you start to forget where you left your keys a little more regularly and eventually you start to forget the names of your family. Just call everyone ‘Frank’, it’s easier.

Some degree of memory loss is normal with age and is referred to as ‘age related cognitive decline’. However, in some cases it might take the more serious form of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The latter is caused by amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, which are caused by a buildup of protein fragments attaching to the cells.

This can lead to confusion and severe memory loss, which we know as dementia or Alzheimer’s. In some cases, confusion and memory loss are exacerbated by damage to the brain caused by a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Minimalist Living: When Less is More

In this day and age, many of us are under the impression that ‘more is more’. Western society has led us to believe that the secret to happiness is to have more stuff and even to feel inadequate when comparing what we have to what our neighbors have, or what people on television have.

So what is the answer? To get more and more ‘stuff’ and constantly feel like that next purchase is going to be what changes everything? Or perhaps to try and ‘let go’ of that need for stuff and to find ourselves feeling more at ease as a result?

As you might have guess from the title of this short report, the answer lies with the latter. But the key is how you go about achieving this mindset. How do you stop yourself from constantly wanting the ‘next big thing’ and how precisely does this make you a happier person? Let’s take a look…

Are You Stuck in a Loop?

What many of us don’t realize is that we’re stuck in a kind of loop or a ‘vicious cycle’ that may be preventing us from ever being completely happy. The reason for this, is that we are so fixated on material possessions, that we’re willing to sacrifice all of the other things we need to be happy.

Think about it: if you’re like many people, then there’s a good chance that you currently feel over worked, stressed, exhausted and perhaps that you don’t spend enough time with your family, or enough time doing the things that you really enjoy. You get home late after working until 7pm and then you have to cook, eat, get washed and tidy the house all before bed time. It doesn’t leave much space for spending time with your family, or for pursuing hobbies and things that interest you.

Which is why, when you see that flashy new suit or dress, or that stunning new car… you feel tempted to buy it. You need a ‘win’. You need something to feel good. And so you go ahead and you make the purchase.

But that often means that you had to pay on credit card, which might mean that you’re now in debt. Or perhaps it means that you had to take out a small loan even. That then creates more stress and so the only way to make it go away is to work harder.

How Did This Happen?

What doesn’t help is that many of us equate success with career success. A successful person is someone who has a flash car, who wears nice suits, who has a Rolex and who is in a position of power and importance in their workplace. Nevermind whether they’re actually happy.

Advertising reinforces this view. Models on the covers of magazines look beautiful thanks to all of the expensive health products they use. To smell like Jonny Depp (and thus find love), you need to spend $50 on cologne. And to feel like you’ve accomplished anything in life, you need a TV that’s at least 34” wide. Nevermind if you actually get time to watch it.

Without meaning to sound like a conspiracy theorist, this is a status quo that greatly benefits the government and that benefits any capitalist economy. The more you feel dissatisfied with what you have, the more you work and the more you spend. That means you’re channeling more money into the economy.

It also doesn’t help that everyone else subscribes to pretty much the same view. Take a look at your neighbor and you’ll likely find that they’ve bought into the same notion. They too probably have a massive flat screen TV, nice car and important sounding job. Their home is probably filled with expensive trinkets from their travels. Nevermind if they only get to travel for one week out of 52!

This is partly down to simple human nature. ‘Social comparison theory’ states that we look to others in order to more accurately evaluate ourselves. In other words, you feel successful based not on how much money you have but on how much more money you have compared with your neighbor. And with the models wearing the Rolexes on TV…

Studies show that if you compare yourself to someone who has less than you, then you will be happier. If you compare yourself to someone who has more, then you will become dissatisfied. The irony is that it doesn’t matter how much you actually have, as long as you come out well during the the comparison!

It’s All an Illusion – Time to Break Free

Stop and ask yourself if this is really what you originally wanted. You might be feeling great that you’ve reached a position of responsibility in your job and that you’re now able to afford expensive clothes… but was that ever your ambition to begin with? Or did the pressures of living force you into that position?

Is being the head of a stapler company really that exciting an achievement?

More likely, you probably started out wanting to be a rock star (to make music), wanting to create computer games, wanting to be an athlete (to play sports), or wanting to travel and see the world.

Introduction

If you want to increase your sales and expand your outreach, you need to position yourself as an authority in your market.

An authority can:

Persuade visitors into becoming lifelong customers.
Easily convert traffic into buyers.
Maximize their income quickly.
Expand into new markets easily.
Build a brand and audience in any market.

The first step in your journey to positioning yourself as an authority in your niche is to ask yourself two important questions:

Who are you?
What do you have to offer?

Seems like two rather easy questions, right?

Yet answering them carefully and thoughtfully will go the distance in helping you find the best entry point into your niche so you can truly connect with your target audience.

Because ultimately, all people are about is “what is in it for them?”

They need to know how you plan to help them, what you bring to the table and how you will solve their problems.

Authority marketing is about positioning your business in a way that you become the logical choice when someone is making the decision who to turn to for help, advice, products or services.

Your goal is to become the go-to person in your niche, or at the very least, one of the first names that come to mind when someone thinks about who to turn to for help with specific topics.

Note that I didn’t say “specific markets or niches”, I said topic.

That’s because it’s always best to position yourself so that people identify you as an authority on a very specific topic or category rather than the market as a whole.

For example, rather than trying to establish yourself as the authority of all things related to blogging, positioning yourself as someone who is known for teaching people how to drive traffic to blogs, allows you to connect to a specific audience.

This will make your marketing campaigns far more effective and targeted than when casting a wider net.

Of course you can always expand your focus later on so you can reach additional markets and cater to a larger crowd, but when just starting out, it will be a lot easier to position yourself as an authority if you focus on one specific segment of your market, rather than the market as a whole.

Trust me, it’ll cut down on a lot of research, trial and error and testing as well because you’ll be able to spend the majority of your time researching that one specific segment of a market and learning everything you need to know about it.

So, begin by taking some time to decide what area of your niche you’ll venture into. Then you’ll be able to study that segment of the market thoroughly, create a plan of action and execute quickly.

In the following report, I’ll share some of my best tips and strategies to gaining the upper hand in your market by positioning yourself as an authority.

Let’s begin!

Know Your Audience

Sounds obvious, right?

You need to know WHO you your audience really is and HOW you can help them.

In fact, knowing your audience is one of the most important things you can do when trying to establish yourself as an authority in your market.

This goes beyond just creating a quick overview of your average customer. Instead, spend time on the same websites, in the same circles and on the same platforms that they do.

Get to know the top, burning questions in your market. Find out what makes people tick, what they are responsive to, and what their triggers are. This will go the distance in later helping you create laser-targeted, effective marketing campaigns that will resonate with your core audience.

Always put yourself in your customers’ shoes. They don’t care about your personal goals – they care only about themselves and their needs - and above all else, how you will help them solve a problem.

Read that again: you’re the only one who truly cares about your business growth. Everyone else just cares about how your business can personally help them.

This means that your focus should always be on identifying key areas in your market where people are struggling.

Then you can use that information in many different areas of your business, such as: coming up with customized products and services that fill that need, developing a USP (Unique Selling Proposition) that offers a promise to solve that problem and creating marketing campaigns that trigger your audience into taking action.

Thorough market research is the key to success when it comes to gaining the advantage of becoming an authority.

Those who overlook the importance of truly understanding their audience even before they create a business plan or launch a marketing campaign will quickly discover just how difficult it is to gain traction.

In fact, without knowing your audience, you’re venturing into a market blindfolded with little chance of success.

On the flip side, putting time and effort into researching your market and connecting with your core audience early on, will make all the difference in your ability to create in-demand products and services that are a no-brainer for your customer base.

You’ll be able to stand out from the crowd, position yourself as an expert and easily convince people to give your brand and business a chance.

And your marketing campaigns will be far more successful and ultimately, cost you less in terms of time spent tweaking and split-testing campaigns. Because you’ll know what makes people tick.

Introduction

Committing to a regular exercise regimen is often easier said than done. It takes discipline, focus and time – and if you’re planning to join a gym, it can cost you an arm and a leg every single month.

But does it have to?

The truth is, you don’t have to spend a fortune on gym memberships or fitness classes. With the tips and strategies featured inside of this special report, you’ll be able to achieve the exact same results at home at a low-to-no cost!

Regular exercise, particularly as you get older, is an important component to living your best, most active and healthiest life.

Even if you suffer from limited mobility, your body needs to move and your muscles need to stretch in order to feel at your best.

Further, your brain will benefit from the activity and increased blood supply as will your overall mental health. You’ll be healthier and more energetic with a regular exercise program, even one done entirely from home.

In fact, incorporating regular fitness into your daily life is often easier when you focus on a home exercise routine. Since you don’t have to leave the house in order to complete your daily fitness goals, there will be fewer distractions and even less excuses! ;)

Are you ready to get started?

Here’s how you can set up a scheduled home workout program in your own home gym without spending thousands of dollars. In fact, we’ve found nine different pieces of equipment you can get for next to nothing, that will serve you just the same as those expensive machines at the gym.

Let’s begin!

Use The Power of Resistance

Resistance Bands. Anyone – at any fitness level – can use resistance bands to improve their workout. They don’t put the same sort of stress on your joints that weights or kettlebells do, while still providing a challenging workout.

They’re also great for targeting smaller muscles you don’t ordinarily pay much attention to, like the smaller muscles in your hips that stabilize your quads.

Resistance bands are basically giant rubber bands that give you tension, making your muscles work against one another to strengthen them. They’re small and lightweight, easy to pack and carry around, and come in a variety of styles (looped, non-looped, with or without handles).

They’re also really inexpensive – you can usually pick up a set for around twenty dollars, depending on the brand and where you shop. You can buy resistance bands on Amazon, of course, but also at retailers like Kohls, Target, and Walmart.

With resistance training, the key is to do multiple reps with a rest between, then repeat the set about three times. You’re not trying to bulk up – you’re strengthening muscles and tendons that might not get a good workout otherwise.

You can hook a band to a stationary object, like a stair railing, or simply use your body to anchor it (such as standing on the band). You should be working out three to five times a week for about half an hour. Don’t expect massive results with resistance bands – the goal is to strengthen the muscles and tendons, not to bulk up.

Here are a couple of easy exercises for you to try at home:

Bicep Curl – Stand up with both feet on the resistance band. Your feet should be spread to shoulder width. Hold one end of the band in each hand with your arms straight out to the front, palms facing forward. Slowly curl your hands up towards your shoulders, bending your elbows and squeezing your biceps muscles.

Keep your elbows tight to the sides of your body so your biceps do the work. Then slowly lower your hands back down to the starting position. This is one repetition.

Try to keep your reps rhythmic and slow so your biceps feel the tension at all times. Do twelve to fifteen reps and repeat three times.

Single-Arm Triceps Extension – Stand with one foot slightly in front of the other and foot further back. Loop a resistance band beneath your back foot and take hold of the other end in front of your body with the opposite hand.

Reach back over your shoulder with the other hand and grab the free end of the loop (you may need someone to hand it to you). Hold this behind your head by your neck.

Your elbow should be pointed towards the ceiling. This is your starting position. Slowly extend your upper hand towards the ceiling until your elbow is straight. Then lower it back to the starting position.

This is one repetition. Do twelve to fifteen reps on one arm, then repeat with the other arm. Repeat entire set three times.

Weight Training

If you’d like to work out with weights like dumbbells or barbells from the comfort of your own home, you don’t have to spend a fortune to get the equipment you need.

You can even purchase a good used set of weights for about half the price of a new one, and since free weights are easily stored, you won’t have to worry about having to make room for a full weight bench.
