Introduction

Whether you are freelancing now or you aspire to become a freelancer, work-at-home moms now have new opportunities to be able to stay home and still earn a wonderful income in 2018 & beyond

Let’s take a look at why a freelance business really appeals to you and if your serious about it, why you should manage your business in such a way that you are perceived by your prospective current and prospective customers as more than somebody in their bedroom with a PC.

Chapter 1: Do You Want Really Want To Be A WHAM Freelance Contractor?

Do You Resemble These Remarks? You love getting up early in the morning just so you can fight rush hour traffic to be at work on time. You like to go to work and see the same people doing the same thing day in and day out. You love your boss and look forward to his or her demands on you and your time everyday. You don’t mind that you never see your family or children.

You don’t mind that you miss all of their games and events. You like working overtime. You don’t mind that you have not received a raise in three years. You don’t mind that you are making minimum wage and barely making ends meet. You would hate working at home and spending more time with your family. A million dollars is not something you aspire to ever earn.

If the person described above is you, then don’t read any further. If you don’t want to be your own boss and don’t want to tell others how much your time is worth and don’t want to actually get paid for your time, then stop reading.

If you are content living the life you have and don’t wish to take your career into your own hands and shape your own future, then put this book down. Just close it. Throw it in the trash. Line the bird cage with the papers that contain the information on how to make freelancing business a cash flow king.

If, however, a million dollar career is something you are interested in, then find a comfortable chair, grab your favorite beverage, and settle down with a pen and paper so you can take some pertinent notes.

Take the time to read this book about freelancing and how it could mean financial freedom and control over your career with customers that look at you as the consummate professional you are, from the very beginning.

Does freelancing mean you will get rich overnight? No, it takes work and dedication. There are a number of obstacles that you will have to overcome but the rewards will be substantial if you are willing to put in the time and effort. The possibilities are endless.

There are opportunities for any person to break into the lucrative career of freelancing or start making a serious increase in their businesses profits starting now. All you need is diligence, patience, and tenacity to pursue it and make it happen by running it like a ‘REAL’ business starting now. This book will show you how. On the other hand, if you are the person that was described at the beginning of the chapter, get that beverage and curl up with the latest novel by your favorite author. It might be enjoyable reading and that is fine. Just remember, unless you are doing that for a living, it wont make you a dime.

So You Want To Be Your Own Boss

Freelancing allows you to be your own boss. This means you make your own hours. That does not necessarily mean you will work less hours than you did working as an employee. In fact it may mean working more hours in the beginning stages of your business. As the old adage goes, “I’d rather work 60 hours a week for myself and make the same money as working 40 hours a week for somebody else”.

Wear what you want. Does your current job have a dress code? How does sitting in your pajamas all day sound; what about just spending the day wearing your favorite pair of worn out jeans and that T-shirt from that unforgettable 1980’s rock concert.

If you are an independent agent, like a freelancer, then you decide the dress code. But if your prospective or current customers also see you in the same way in their ‘minds eye’, because of the way you have set up and postured your business, those old worn out jeans may end up being all you can afford to wear.

Making your own hours does not mean loafing around all day. And it doesn’t mean taking short cuts in your business management could end up being detrimental to your businesses image. It means having the self discipline to set aside a certain amount of hours that you work each day. But, as the boss, you get to decide what those hours are. That way you can pick up the kids from school, have lunch with the spouse, go to the gym during the day when it’s not so crowded, and never have to make that horrible rush-hour commute. However, in the beginning setting your schedule like that may mean you have to work later hours into the evening to maintain necessary cash flow.

Being a freelancer means that you get to set your own prices for what your time is worth. No more waiting years for a raise that may never come. As you become more proficient and widen your client base you can double and triple your earnings as you see fit.

Have you ever considered living somewhere else but your job and family obligations keep you stuck in the same place. Freelancing gives you the freedom to take your family, if that applies to you, or just yourself and live wherever you want.

As long as you have a phone, a computer and a way to receive mail, you can live at the South Pole or Hawaii and still have a lucrative freelancing career. Your home is your office. You can be sitting in a coffee shop and enjoying a scone with a mocha latte at the same time you are making more money than you ever made working for somebody else.

Tinnitus 101 – What You Need to Know About Tinnitus

If you ever experience ringing in your ears, it might be from a condition called tinnitus. While not a medical condition on its own, tinnitus is a term used to determine if there is another condition of your ears you need to be concerned about. In the coming pages, you will learn about tinnitus and what can be done about it.

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is the medical term for phantom ringing you hear in your ears. This means that the noise is not happening in your environment. For instance, no one can hear the ringing but you. Tinnitus is common because it affects about 1 in 5 individuals. Although it affects your ears, it is not a medical condition. It is classified as a symptom resulting from an underlying medical condition. An underlying medical condition is classified as a disease, infection or disorder of some type.
If you have tinnitus, you may suffer from one of two types of the medical symptoms: subjective and objective tinnitus. Subjective tinnitus can only be heard by you. Subjective tinnitus is the form of tinnitus people commonly develop.

It can develop because you had medical problems with your inner, middle or outer ear. In addition to problems hearing, your auditory nerves may also be affected. Your auditory nerves, located in your brain, is responsible for interpreting the nerve signals that you hear into sounds.

Objective tinnitus is phantom noise your physician can hear while they are examining your ears. This is a rare form of the condition. It is often caused by issues with your blood vessel, muscle contractions or a medical condition in your middle ear bone.

The ringing in your ears is bothersome. However, it is not serious and is not fatal.

There is no cure for tinnitus. With treatment and identifying the underlying cause of tinnitus, you may notice improvement in symptoms.

1. Signs and Symptoms

The most obvious symptom of tinnitus is the ringing in your ears. You may not experience ringing in the ears, but a different sound such as buzzing, clicking, humming, roaring and hissing. The noise may occur intermittently.

This means you may hear the ringing in your ears, then it will stop just as suddenly as it started. You may experience throbbing and pain in your ears. The sound is a high-pitched sound that is continuous. Decreased hearing may also occur when you have tinnitus.

You may experience symptoms that are not directly related to the buzzing or ringing in your ears. These symptoms include depression, anxiety, difficulty sleeping and lack of concentration.

2. What Causes Tinnitus?

Researchers cannot find the exact reason why Tinnitus occurs. However, numerous health condition can worsen the ear problem. From what researchers have gathered, inner ear cell damage is the common cause of tinnitus. The delicate, small hairs located in your inner ear sway according to the pressure of the sound waves you hear.

Your ear cells are triggered to release the transmitted electrical signal to your auditory nerve and then to your brain. Your brain is responsible for interpreting the electrical signal as sounds.

Any time the delicate, small hairs in your inner ear become broken or bent, they do not work properly. Instead, they create electrical impulses that are randomly sent to your brain. Your brain is responsible for interpreting these sounds. This is how you hear ringing or buzzing in your ears when no one is ringing a bell.
The most common causes include:

1. Being in an environment with extremely loud noise. A concert, listening to music too loud and heavy equipment can cause tinnitus when you are exposed to loud noise.
2. Hearing loss that occurs because of age. Loss of hearing typically starts when you are 60 years old.
3. Changes in your ear bone. Your ear bone in your middle ear can stiffen and changes the way you hear.
4. Earwax blockage. Earwax blockage occurs because of wax buildup in the ear.

The next leading cause of tinnitus is medications. Certain medications can either cause the condition or make it worse. What happens is the higher the dosage of medication, the worse the ringing in the ears become. The phantom noise tends to disappear when you stop taking the medication.

Some medications are known to cause tinnitus or make it worse. For instance, some antibiotics and antidepressants may cause or worsen tinnitus. Taken in high doses, aspirin cause tinnitus or make tinnitus worse. Quinine medications and water pills, called diuretics, often cause tinnitus. Certain cancer medications like vincristine and mechlorethamine cause ringing in your ears.

Some medical conditions may cause this condition, but it does not occur very often. For example, head or neck injuries can cause damage to your brain and hearing nerves. The damage usually causes tinnitus in only one ear. Acoustic neuroma, a noncancerous tumor in your cranial nerve, can cause ringing in one ear.
Blood vessel disorders are also the cause of tinnitus. However, this link between blood vessel disorders and this condition is rare. Some vessels disorders that cause ringing in your ears include atherosclerosis, high blood pressure and turbulent blood flow.

3. The Risk Factors Associated with Tinnitus

Any person can develop tinnitus in one or both ears. However, certain factors can increase your risk of developing the condition. For instance, exposure to loud noise can increase your chances of developing tinnitus. Cardiovascular problems, such as high blood pressure or atherosclerosis, can increase your risk of developing this condition. Smoking and age can both increase the risk of developing tinnitus. Men typically develop tinnitus at a higher rate than women.

4. Possible Complications

Every medical condition has complications. Tinnitus is no different. These complications can be serious because the affect individuals differently. In fact, it may change your quality of life. Some complications that can occur if you have tinnitus include, but are not limited to memory problems, stress, fatigue, problems sleeping and fatigue. You may feel irritable for no reason.

Internet Traffic Now

This is how to get the traffic you need fast!

Traffic is the most important part of marketing online. Traffic is what creates a successful online business. Without it, you're going to be starving in the world of Internet marketing.

Internet marketers are always learning new tricks to build traffic. Many people have been doing this sort of thing for years now and can quickly generate interest by posting videos or other content on the web. Those are the people who are usually competing for you for eyeballs, especially if they are in your market niche. So, first you want to get a good idea of who is ranking at the top of Google using the keywords you've targeted, and then you want to find ways to copy them so that people searching for their content find yours instead.

This can be done with articles, videos, any type of social media. It doesn't take a whole lot of smarts, and it can be very effective because much of the work of attracting attention is already done for you. You just have to hijack that attention back to your site instead.

The first thing you do is go to the Google search engine and insert the keyword you are targeting. Then browse the first five pages of the search results to see who has gotten top ranking. These are the people who you are competing against.

Knowing that, you can start visiting their sites to see if you can find a way to use their popularity to increase your own. The simple way to do that is to go each site and see if they have a blog you can comment on, a discussion forum you can add to, or any other way to get your name in their site, with an appropriate link back to your website, if possible.

The next thing you want to do is create copy that is very similar to what they are using to be successful. You want to use similar keywords and similar topics. You
don't want to outright plagiarize, but you do want to paraphrase and re-market the same content that worked for them.

Next, you want to find out who linked to these sites and content which made them go up in the Google ranking. Again, you use the Google search engine.

This will give you an idea of who has linked to them. Here you are interested in seeing which social marketing sites are helping them to rank better. And then, you go into those sites and add your own bookmark or link there to confuse people into going to your site and also to bring up the ranking on your content too. If you happen to be looking at a YouTube video, you would find the links at the Statistics & Data section given in YouTube for each video, instead of Google. Either way, you want to know who is linking and then try to get yourself listed there too.

You will also want to know who are the people that showed such interest in these competitors. That's your target demographic too. You can do this for the competitor and for the links they go to. All you have to do is visit Alexa.com to get a good insight into the demographics of any site online.

Alexa.com

At Alexa.com you can insert the URL of any site on the Internet and search the traffic rankings by selecting that option. It will come up with the site and a brief description of what that site is about. That already tells you something about what kind of people your competitors and their links are attracting. Maybe it is a technology site or a business site, whichever, you now have that little piece of information stored away as one of the types of people who frequent your competitors' sites.

Under that you will see a breakdown of the traffic by country. This gives you an idea of the national demographic you may be targeting. You may think all sites are geared towards the US market, but that's not so. Once you understood who is coming to visit your competitors' sites, you will have a better understanding of how to build and market your own sites.

One last way to find places that can help you drive traffic to your site with Alexa.com is to use their Top 500 Sites list. It gives you a breakdown of which sites have the most traffic, separated by country of origin. This will allow you to target these sites to add comments, contribute content, and generally try to elbow your way into the limelight. It is located here: https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo .

Quantacast.com

To further your understanding, you will want to visit quantacast.com for more market research on your competitors and their links. This site gives you a much better breakdown of the demographics in very minute detail. So, once you have some good candidates to research further, you add them to market research list you will do on Quantacast.com. All you have to do is type in the URL of the link you are interested in researching, and Quantacast can let you know what the gender, age, ethnicity, income, and college education is for all the people visiting that site. It will also give you the monthly traffic frequency too.

If you are looking for demographics, Quantacast.com is a goldmine of information!

Quantacast also has a very nice feature that allows you to see the other sites the audience that likes the link you are investigating also likes online. This gives you a handy-dandy way to find even more sites to research to see how they are attracting their visitors. Not only that, but you can visit these sites like you did the original site and see if there is any way you can add a comment, a link, or any other interaction that can drive traffic from those sites back to your site. And, don't limit your contributions to these sites to small things, if the return might be high. Think about submitting videos and podcasts too if that's allowed.

Strategies Research

The best way to do market research is to stalk your competitors and see what they're doing. There are a number of different ways you can get that information and then use it to your advantage. It does take work and persistence. However, think how quickly your traffic can grow if you manage to find a site that is quickly building their audience and your content, along with backlinks to your site, is plastered all over their pages. You will quickly zoom up the ladder of visibility and you will see the results of your efforts.

CPA EXPLAINED

The High Value Marketing Offer

If you notice, many of these offers aren't just a single product; they are a packet of products! And, the actual value of each product in the pack is very clearly stated so that the customer understands that this is really a high-dollar value offer, as well as a huge bargain! Some packages can have a real value of a couple hundred dollars or more, but when it comes time to buy, the customer is made aware that they really only have to pay a shipping and handling fee!

The point is that the perceived value of your product should be very high! It should be an offer that's very difficult to say “no” to. Even though the material that may be delivered to the house may be only a $3 CD, the product value can have a much higher-perceived value due to what information is being sent out to the customer. If they think it's something that will help them make money or is difficult to get anywhere else, your product will have a very high-perceived value.

You can see some nice examples of this type of temptation being offered to the customer by the large dollar values being crossed out; at times, even the total estimated cost of the pack is crossed out. That's one way to be very specific about the perceived value of the product and to set that number in the mind of your customer. Their actual cost, it is later explained, is actually just the cost to ship the product to their home! How can anyone refuse that type of
offer if they even have the smallest amount of interest in the subject being sold?

The Shipping And Handling Fee

So, why not offer the product completely free if the sale isn't made on the front-end? Well, for one thing, you gain the customer's credit card number when they have to pay a shipping and handling fee. This can later be used to generate recurring income because each offer packages some other product or service that is providing recurring income on a monthly basis, such as a free trial, along with all of the other products.

The agreement is that the free trial will automatically be extended into a paid subscription if the service is not canceled within a specific period of days. In some cases, it may be a subscription for products that are shipped automatically and charged automatically to the credit card.

The agreement might be that the credit card will be charged unless the products are shipped back within a specific period of time. Either way, without the credit card, the monthly recurring charge won't happen if the customer has a set of free products and is being requested to offer the credit card number for a new subscription later. It's harder for a customer to cancel a subscription that takes him/her reading the fine print of a contract to know he/she has it, as well as learning how to cancel the subscription, than it is for him/her to say “no” to the subscription offer if it is offered separately later. If you didn't get the credit card number originally through the shipping and handling fee, you'll have far fewer people willing to pull it out for a brand new subscription. So, it's important that the customer pay for shipping and handling if only to get his/her credit card number so you can keep charging him/her for a monthly subscription.

Another reason is that you don't want to lose out on the cost of shipping and handling or on producing the set that you're sending. It may appear that you are giving away things for free, but informational products are relatively cheap to produce. The actual materials cost is low; what people are perceiving to have high value is the information on them. So, you may even make money, depending on how you've structured the shipping and handling fee.

If you are sending out a CD, for instance, it may only cost $3 to manufacture and a few more dollars to ship. If you're saying the shipping and handling fee is $9.95 to anywhere in the world and your product is in English, odds are most of your sales will be in the United States. So, you can make money on those CDs, even if the profit from each is only a dollar or so. At worst, you will cover the cost of manufacturing and shipping the products out.

Recurring Monthly Income

The key to generating a recurring monthly income is the subscription service. Whether you are giving away a free trial to a membership site on a monthly subscription or a set of products that are sent out monthly on a subscription service, you have to let the customer know that they are being signed up for a free trial with the payment of the shipping and handling fee for the free offer. That subscription will automatically be charged to their credit card if they don't cancel the services or do some action within a specific period of time, usually a period of 21 to 30 days. This gets them enrolled in your subscription service right off the bat without having to ask for a credit card again later. And, the nice part about it is that it creates a large amount of recurring monthly income for you.

So, what's so great about recurring monthly income? Well, for one thing, most people are generally lazy and won't bother to cancel a subscription until long after they've stopped using it. The lower the subscription cost, the more they will not want to bother removing it. That's great news for you because a monthly fee is a great way to build up residual income. It may not be a whole lot per person, but once you have hundreds of people signed up for that monthly subscription, even if it's only at $20 each, you can have upwards of $2000 or more coming in for doing practically nothing. You just make sure the products and services you offered for that subscription fee are available.

Now, there will be some people motivated enough to drop out of your program, even if it's for a low monthly fee. So, you will have to constantly increase your member count or have offers to sign up others to keep your recurring monthly income high. The good news is that people will drop out slowly. The first month, most people will have forgotten they signed up for your subscription. If they check their credit card statements, they might find it, and after the second month, consider dropping out. Either way, you will see people dropping out of the program slowly, not at a big drop initially. This means that if you sell 500 subscriptions at $20 a month each, you can pretty much be assured of about $10,000 your first month, or thereabouts!

The Paired Back-End Offers

Each front-end offer is paired to a back-end offer that is another opportunity to up-sell or cross-sell your membership. Even after people have enrolled, you can continue to use that membership enrollment to market other products and services that are not included in the base membership price. This can be done in a variety of ways using the different formats that you will use, like newsletters, product shipments, and so on.

Introduction

Optimism is assuming the best outcome is possible. Pessimism assumes the worst outcome is inevitable. These two different types of people view life entirely differently. However, there is little doubt that optimists are happier, healthier, and generally more successful in all aspects of their lives. A little optimism goes a long way.

Many people believe that one’s past determines one’s level of optimism or pessimism. To a certain extent, that is true. Children raised to think positively are far more likely to remain optimists than children raised with negativism. However, as adults, we always have choices. Whether we spend our time making lemonade out of lemons or complain about the shortage of lemons is always choice. While optimists see possibilities, pessimists see problems.

Pessimism is a mindset that we can change. This will happen when we want more out of life and when we believe we can achieve it. While negative thoughts keep us focused on roadblocks and reasons not to act, optimism and positive thinking open our mind to new opportunities. It fills us with the belief that life can provide us with more. Optimists don’t expect guarantees, but they are willing to risk roadblocks and failure for the chance at success. They see every reason why they should try for happiness.

It is this belief and mindset that determines the quality of their lives, not their ability, luck, or fate.

Optimists never see themselves as victims of circumstances. They understand things can go wrong at any time, but they also know how many good opportunities are possible. So, they learn to deal with obstacles to reach their goals and dreams. For optimists, obstacles are lessons to be learned on the road to success.

Optimists feel in control of their lives, while pessimist are certain that life controls them.

Everyone can become more optimistic, happier, and more successful. All you have to do is expect more out of life and realize that more is possible. Expectations have a way of being self-fulfilling. Those who view the glass as half-full have an excellent chance of enjoying a life of abundance because that is their expectation of life. Pessimists who see the glass as half-empty may spend a lifetime suffering from thirst.

This book attempts to explain the mindset and benefits of optimism, and how to increase positive thinking for a better life. Regardless of your circumstances, you can make positive changes that lead to greater success. The way you think determines how you act. And your actions determine whether you are guided by optimism or negativism.

Chapter 1 - What is Optimism?

We all have a vague idea that optimism is good – seeing the glass as half full and making lemonade from lemons. Optimists see success as their right. It’s there if they are willing to work for it. Many people, however, believe it’s some innate ability we are born with. Either you have it, or you don’t. Nothing could be further from the truth. While optimism can be partially genetic (if you were raised in an optimistic family, the odds are you will have that trait), it can also be learned.

Optimism is a mindset that believes in the possibility of a good outcome. Equally as important, it understands that there are hurdles along the way. Life is filled with the unexpected. No one gets everything he or she wants, and optimists don’t expect it. However, they build the type of resilience that encourages them to keep trying. Optimists are not guided by failure. There may be many rainy days, but eventually, the sun will always come out. If that glass of water gets spilled, it can always get refilled. That’s how an optimist approaches life. He or she may stumble but will always get back up.

Research has found that being optimistic will enhance your quality of living and your health when compared to pessimists. It encourages flexible thinking, creativity, and greater problem-solving capability. All of that decreases stress and ensures a healthier body.

Let’s take a look at how optimists behave when compared to pessimist, because there is a significant difference.

1. Optimists know that they are responsible for their own life, with all of its ups and downs. They don’t depend on others to feel good, successful, or attractive. They are the masters of their own fate.

To be clear, it is not necessary for an optimist to be overly successful or attractive. An optimist can be an unassuming person, living a simple life, and extremely content with everything he or she has. To him or her, that is success.

2. Optimists associate with other optimists. The people you associate with impact your life in many ways. It has been said that we are the sum of the five people whom we associate with the most. Optimists choose their friends wisely.

Pessimists will, unfortunately, drag you down with their negative thinking. It’s almost inevitable. Some people can complain about anything – the world in general, the job, a meal at a restaurant, a movie … the list doesn’t end. This attitude invariable rubs off on others and is best avoided if you are an optimist. And if success is your goal, know that the number one trait of successful people is positive thinking. A positive outlook is the sure way to get through hard times.

Boost Your Website Traffic MRR Ebook

Introduction

Over the last several decades, the real world has moved online, and so has the money. Whether it's for a commercial website, personal blog, turning a profit through online advertising, or finding a way to improve the exposure for your business, today's currency of success heavily relies on being able to cultivate more traffic to your website.

While the world may be getting smaller, the Internet is quickly getting much larger, and it seems that everybody wants a piece of the pie.

The good news is that a majority of visitors to the millions of websites, get funneled through the rather narrow search engines to the various sites. This leaves the market far from saturated regarding a division of resources. Therefore, there are still plenty of ways that you can successfully direct more people to your website.

Unfortunately, with everything good, there has to be something terrible. Most of the ways that you can drive traffic to your site as evident as they may be are only entirely understood by those people who have dedicated themselves to understanding Search Engine Optimization, (SEO) and digital marketing strategies, merely because they are more driven to do so.

Consequently, a job that is so simple anyone can perform it with the basic understanding of how to operate a computer ends up being done by specialized digital marketing firms that increase the operational costs for small businesses like yours.

Chapter 1 – Content, SEO, and Analytics

When it comes to driving traffic to your website, your first efforts have to come from your own backyard. The first and most important rule for building an excellent foundation for driving more traffic to your site is creating unique content.

As a small business owner, you need to learn to fully appreciate the vast array of tools that are at your disposal for you to use to make your site a fantastic experience for visitors.

The first rule in content creation is that you need to diversify your content among as many of the media formats as possible. This includes textual, audio-visual, exclusively aural, and so on. Every business will require a specific skill-set to survive and ultimately succeed.

However, most people just shrug these skills off as an everyday occurrence. This is why those people who are more willing to acknowledge their gifts will always receive more attention, more publicity, and ultimately more business through their higher web traffic numbers.

So, the first thing that you will need to do to start increasing your web traffic will be to isolate the specific skills that qualify you to succeed in your chosen profession. This could be your salesmanship, creative business modeling, financial acumen, investment skills, or strong research skills. Most small business websites that make it big, don't do it because they are loaded with business jargon, but because they can extract the qualities of great businesses into various articles and anecdotes, that the general public can relate to and can learn from.

This means that in addition to having your usual web content and products listed on your website, you need to have a blog as well. Your blog will serve as an exciting and informative target for your audience. Having greater public visibility will naturally lead to an increase in web traffic.

Creating Content

When you begin to create the content for your site, you want to identify the styles of content that will benefit you the most. Determine whether the information you are trying to convey will be better discussed in a short video, or will it be better to create a podcast or textual article.

Having a more significant variation in the styles of your content will allow the visitors to your site to scratch different itches depending on their mood at the time. By using various media to convey your information you can satiate your visitor's need to learn through video, audio, or literary outlets all at once. When it comes to the frequency of posted content, you want to make sure that you do so on a regular basis. Nothing turns away an existing visitor base quicker than a stagnant website.

People are only willing to invest their time in a site that continues to develop and grow, rather than wasting their time on a site that seems to be dying out and heading towards the cyber graveyard.

Web Analytics

Beyond the kinds of content that you need to create, you also need to keep your eye on your website analytics. This is usually provided in-house through portals like WordPress, or through Google analytics for general internet sites. If you don’t already have it, head to Google analytics to complete an easy sign-up process. Boost

Once you've signed up for the service, you should begin receiving analytical data on the dashboard within a week. The analytics that you receive will allow you to identify the favorite pieces among your hosted content quickly and to determine whether or not a new video or article received public approval, which is determined by the amount of time spent, on average, on that particular piece of content by your audience.

If they sat through an appropriate amount of time to view the content in its entirety, then you can rest easy because you've done your job. However, if they move on after just 30 seconds, you may need to revisit your judgment regarding the topic or style of the content.

Keeping an eye on the analytics of your website, and tweaking your content accordingly will allow you to understand the tastes of your regular audience members better. This will help you to cater to your visitors appropriately so that you can work to nurture your growing visitor base.

CPA Beginnings

Right now, about 80% of internet advertising falls into traditional categories such as PPC. This means that so far only about 20% of advertisers have started some sort of CPA program, but these numbers are quickly changing. That's because CPA is rapidly becoming the most effective way for publishers and advertisers alike to make money, especially in this difficult economic period. Drastic conditions require new and innovative strategies for tackling the consumer market.

Why Are CPA Networks Booming?

CPA network offers provide advantages to both the publisher and the advertiser in a tough economy. Many consumers aren't willing to buy things as easily as before, and so pay-per-sale offers are harder to convert for publishers. However, a consumer might be more willing to hand out information that an affiliate advertiser can used to market to them later, and that provides some value to the advertiser, too. So publishers find a CPA offer is easier to convert into income in a recession and an advertiser finds that he can still build a great contact list and get visitors more involved in his products and services by using a CPA offer.

Let's take a quick look at a traditional online marketing strategy using PPC offers, to understand why CPA networks can be perceived as having a higher value. When an advertiser decides to implement a PPC campaign, they target a bunch of keywords that a search engine like Google will use to serve up a bunch of ads to people who search for those particular terms. Those visitors then go to a site where the ad is being published, click on the link, and go to the advertiser’s offer. However, the advertiser doesn't know who has clicked, has gathered no information on that potential buyer, and can only hope that the click converts to a sale. Even if it doesn't, the advertiser will still have to pay for the clicks and many advertisers simply want a little more for their money.

Add to that the frustration of click fraud and campaigns that run over-budget with few ways to determine how much they actually impacted sales, and you can see why some advertisers are beginning to opt for CPA offers that cost them less money and will, at the very least, generate a lead if not a sale.

However, it's not just the advertisers who are getting additional benefits from CPA network offers. Publishers are finding that the offers are much easier to implement and the payouts can be higher than a traditional PPC campaign. At rates of $1 to $50 for an offer that generates a valid lead, and with conversion rates of 20%, the take for a publisher can be higher with much less stress and worry. That's because publishers do not have to create landing pages for a CPA offer if they don't want to; additionally, they don't have to research keywords, grab traffic to their site first, and then send them on to the affiliate. Instead, they can go directly to where the biggest traffic sources are online and post a link there directly to the CPA network offer they are promoting. In many cases, the legwork to get a CPA offer up and running is minimal, when compared to a PPC campaign.

How Do I Apply?

Applying to a CPA network can be very different from applying for other traditional programs because there is a greater degree of verification within the network both for advertisers and publishers alike. Don't expect to be accepted automatically just because you fill in the application form, because this is just the just the beginning of the process rather than the end. You will be investigated much more carefully than with a PPC affiliate type program. They will make sure you are the person you say you are, even going as far as to check ownership of websites and contact information you gave on the application form to ensure everything matches. Be as accurate as possible when applying to CPA networks as they are very selective about who they accept.

The CPA network employs people who know how to spot deception in an application by cross-checking one piece of information with another. For instance, if you give one name on the application form but the owner of the website in the WhoIs record is someone else, they may decide you're not being honest with them. Also, if you give out a phone number or email address that you never respond to it will be an automatic red flag that will kill your application, so be prepared to answer the phone and/or email promptly to speed up the approval process.

Cross-Checks And Double-Checks

Now that you understand the process a bit more, let’s review the items you need to make sure are consistent and accurate on your application form.

- Your Website(s) – You don't necessarily have to own a website with a CPA network to be accepted, but it does help. Make sure you are listed as the owner of the site, as they will verify this is a match.

- Your Country of Origin – They will check your IP address to make sure it is coming from the country of origin you are claiming you reside within. If you outsource the application process, make sure it is to someone within the same country where you live. Otherwise, it will look very questionable, and have no doubt that they will reject you based on that alone.

- Your Contact Information – Throwaway email addresses are an automatic reject. Unlike traditional affiliate programs, you can expect to receive a call from an affiliate manager of the CPA network using the phone number you provided. Be available to take the call, as they do not call twice, and they will reject your application if you don't answer. They will also check the area code to make sure it goes to the state of residency you claim on the application form. Make sure it matches.

- Incomplete Applications – Don't uncheck boxes that they've checked, like a box typically saying “incentives” for your advertising method. It's their hint that's what they want you to use.

The Single Most Important Question

Expect to be questioned on how you intend to promote or drive traffic to the affiliate offers, if you are signing up to be a publisher. This is the single most important question and your answer will greatly impact whether your application is accepted or not. If you don't have a clear idea, it will only prove to the affiliate manager that you are not a valuable affiliate partner to include in their network. Make sure you have a good answer for this question.

Introduction

There seems to be an unwritten rule that some people will succeed no matter how little they try and that others will fail regardless of how hard they try. The truth of the matter is that we all live in an existential framework where we are all presented with opportunities to pursue our purpose in life. Despite the seemingly insurmountable odds that are stacked against a considerable number of people, few people have accomplished their goals. Interestingly enough, many of the people that have achieved success, don't necessarily come from a privileged background, but they have one thing in common. They are able to embrace the opportunities available to them, and through hard work, they were ultimately able to become successful. They have found a way to live purpose-driven lives. When you look at the data available on

the lives of people who have found success, you will find that because of their determination to find success, they were able to form a solid support system and have a sophisticate and wellresearched toolkit that they use to confront the challenges they face on their journey.

People who are determined don't find success by accident; instead, they have trained themselves always to think and troubleshoot before they undertake any projects and pursuing specific causes. Their toolkit contains many valuable resources, including resourceful people and mentors, ways to cope with uncertainty and negativity, positive visualization techniques, goal setting strategies, and alternative courses of action when they run into roadblocks and face challenges.

With this determination, you can't afford to scroll through life without having a clear understanding of your potential, goals, and personal strengths. If you want to be able to discover and understand your purpose, you have to set aside time to think about the things that make you genuinely happy. This becomes your path of passion and the moment you discover it; you need to pursue it to the very end.

Chapter 1 – What is Purpose?

One of the driving forces that have encouraged recent research into personal development and social behavior is purpose. As more people begin to become gradually aware of who they are, they feel the need to discover more about their existence and their life's purpose. The best approach to adopt when delving into and discussing the concept of purpose is to know what purpose is and how it is different from goals.

Purpose refers to a cognitive process that defines your goals in life and provides you with personal meaning. It is, in essence, a central self-organizing aim that stimulates goals, manages behavior, and give you the reality of existence.

Purpose directs your decisions and goals by guiding the use of your finite personal resources. Instead of governing your behavior, purpose offers you direction, not dissimilar to a compass that guides a navigator. Following your purpose is purely optional, but there are significant benefits for doing so. Living in accordance with your purpose makes you a selfsustaining force and an aggressive agent in goal pursuit and goal attainment. Therefore, purpose is critical for helping us to organize our lives and develop persistence that resonates across time and context.

The Difference Between Purpose and Goals

Even though they are mentioned continuously together in conversational context and research, purpose and goals are not synonymous.

Goals are more precise in their impact on proximal behaviors. They focus on a more specific endpoint and serve to guide our behavior either toward or away from the endpoint.

Purpose, on the other hand, is a broader component that influences behavior and stimulates the goals. Purpose doesn't point you toward a designated outcome, but instead, it motivates

you to be goal oriented. Unlike goals, which have terminal results, purpose and values merely provide you with the general direction of life.

Another way to look at purpose is to view it as the goal manager. Those who have a purpose in their lives are better able to move seamlessly from goal to goal and even have the capacity to manage multiple goals at once.

On the other hand, those who don’t have a purpose in life may be successful in achieving a single goal, but immediately afterward they find it extremely challenging to identify their next target. Therefore, goals act as the center point and are produced and inspired by your purpose in life.

The Dimensions of Purpose

Purpose is found on a three-dimensional continuum consisting of strength, scope, and awareness. Scope refers to the extent to which your purpose affects your life. For example, a goal that influences all your actions, thoughts, and emotions is said to have a broad scope.

A purpose with a narrow scope is more organized but doesn't impact a greater range of behaviors in comparison with a purpose with a full reach.

Strength, in regards to purpose, is the tendency for the purpose to influence your actions, thoughts, and emotions on the domains relevant to its scope. A definite purpose powerfully influences appropriate behaviors to your purpose. Combined with scope, strength dictates the extent to which your purpose will affect your health, longevity, and well-being.

For instance, a purpose that is characterized by great power and a broader scope will have a more pronounced effect on your life. Additionally, a strong and broad purpose brings resilience to obstacles and barriers that you may face during your journey. Awareness reflects the extent that a person is knowledgeable and can articulate their purpose. Both scope and strength strongly influence it. Consider the analogy of gravity for a moment. On earth, the force of gravity is broader in scope but weak in its impact.

As we live our lives, we don't pay attention to the gravitational forces that are keeping our feet firmly planted. However, if we were to be taken to Jupiter, which has twice as much gravitational force, our awareness of the force of gravity would increase substantially.

Behaviors consistent with purpose can be activated to provide motivation for action. When you are aware of a purpose, it will require you less effort to pursue it than if you were completely unaware.

The Pursuit of Multiple Purposes

It isn't that unusual for someone to have multiple life purposes. However, having many purposes can only be beneficial to a certain point, after which such purposes only serve to reduce the resource allocation.

For instance, if you pursue a single purpose, you might become discouraged if the challenges and obstacles you face become too substantial to surmount. On the other hand, if you have multiple purposes, which are independent of each other, then the moment you encounter an obstacle or face a challenge in one purpose, you automatically shift your attention and focus to the other purpose.

This shifting between life purposes can enhance your pursuit of purposeful living and might even increase your chances of obtaining positive results.

Multiple purposes, however, may result in your constantly switching from one purpose to another, which can greatly hinder your progress. For a sensible and sustainable approach, you need a manageable number of life purposes to which you can allocate the adequate resources to and focus on so that you can reap the tangible benefits.

Critical Elements of Purpose

For you to live a purposeful life, some elements are essential. You must display consistent behavior. This serves as the motivating force that will help you overcome obstacles, maintain your focus, and seek alternative means irrespective of the changing environmental conditions. People that live a purposeful life are more consistent in their behaviors in both their public and private lives.
