The Twenty Six (26) Golden Rules Of Online Marketing

When you know, respect and live the fundamental truths of life, your journey becomes easier and your load much lighter.

Here are the fundamental truths of online marketing, of life, and of the universe. Okay, maybe they're not so grand as all that –I'll let you decide.

Golden Rule #1: You are responsible for your own success.Daunting, isn't it? When you fully realize that you and you alone are responsible for your success or failure –that you've no one to blame or congratulate but yourself –it can almost take your breath away. However, this can also be the most empowering realization you will ever have because you realize that your destiny is in your own hands. It is up to you to make this the life you choose, not the life you settle for.

Take this a step further and you'll find that you are also responsible for your own happiness as well. You can choose at this very moment to be happy or unhappy, regardless of your circumstances. You can choose to reach out to others or not, you can choose to get up early to work on your business or not –everything is in YOUR hands –it's up to you to take full responsibility for your life and your success.
And if you're saying to yourself, “I already knew this,” then allow me to ask you a question: Have you blamed anyone else in the last 48 hours for your own failure or shortcomings? Have you thought something like, “If only my spouse would ____, then I could _____?” Or “If only my parents had ____, then I could have ____?” It's human nature to want to place the responsibility on others, but it's the mark of someone destined for great success to take full and complete responsibility for their own life.

Golden Rule #2: Do what you're good at and you'll unlock the door to personal and financial success.(And if it's also the thing you love doing, so much the better.) We all have our own talents and aptitudes, and when we follow those instead of trying to be what we're not, we're already halfway to success. When you do what you're good at and what you love, you naturally enjoy more energy and more happiness, which propels you further and faster down the path to success. And the passion you demonstrate for your area of expertise is contagious –your readers and customers will sense it and want very much to be a part of it.

Imagine 2 people entering a niche –one because he knows there's money to be made in it, the other because she loves it. It's rather obvious who is likely to experience more success, isn't it? Personal and financial success are far easier to access when you're doing what comes naturally to you.

Golden Rule #3: If you're not improving, you're falling behind.Staying ahead of your online competitors isn't difficult –you simply need to improve one aspect of your knowledge or business every single day. And it's in this constant improvement that you will find pride, confidence and security. Not to mention the fact that you will become the go-to person in your niche.

Golden Rule #4: Give to receive. No, I'm not necessarily talking about giving away your knowledge or products, although there are times when this can add greatly to your business. Rather, you want to always be on the lookout for ways to add value to people's lives, especially the lives of your customers. Dedicate yourself to solving their problems or making their lives better, and you'll be rewarded many times over. As Zig Ziglar says, give enough people what they want and you'll get what you want.

Golden Rule #5: Be really really good, or possibly even great -but forget perfection. You've heard that money loves speed, and that's especially true on the Internet. So while you want to put out great products, well written emails and so forth, never expect them to be perfect. Get them done and get them out, not sitting on your computer waiting for the day you perfect them.

Golden Rule #6: To succeed you MUST believe in yourself. The belief you can and will succeed always proceeds progress and success. In other words, to achieve it you must first believe it, and that goes double for believing in your own abilities, self-worth, creativity and perseverance.

Golden Rule #7: The fastest way to increase belief in yourself is to make immediate progress. You might not yet believe that you canbuild a multi-million dollar empire on the net, but do you believe you can take the first step in that direction? Then don't hesitate –take that first step and then the next, and with each subsequent step your belief in yourself will continue to grow.

Golden Rule #8: Focus on accentuating your positives. If you're really good at writing content but you don't like the technical side of online marketing, find someone to handle that aspect for you so that you can concentrate on content creation. If you're working in three niches but you only enjoy two of them, sell the third website and just focus on what you love doing. And if you've got a bad habit like spending too much time on forums, replace that habit with something you like equally as well, such as writing emails to your list. When you focus on growing the positive rather than eliminating the negative, you'll make progress much faster.

Generate, Evaluate Test Your Own Product Ideas PLR Ebook

How To Generate, Evaluate& Test Your Own Product ideas

One of the biggest objections to product creation is finding a great idea for a product. Believe it or not, YOU are often your greatest source for profitable product ideas, and you're about to discover how to generate more profitable business ideas than you will ever be able to use.

Below you'll discover 7 different ways to generate your own ideas, how to know if your ideas are likely to work, and how to test your idea to see if it really is going to make you money.

First, let's talk about a (not so) surprising revelation –you already HAVE ideas. The fact is, finding ideas isn't the hard part of product creation. Sometimes all you need to do is PAY ATTENTION to what's happening online and all around you, and then write those ideas down when you get them.

So what is the hard part of product creation? No, it's not creating the product. It's the step just after having an idea and just before creating the product, and it's called: Choosing one idea and sticking to it, despite all of the other distractions.

This is of course followed up by continuing to stick with the idea all the way through until completion. I'll bet you that you already know from your first hand experience that perseverance until completion is truly the difficult part of the product creation process. Compared to that, getting an idea can be a piece of cake.

Here's a thought that will take some of the stress out of choosing an idea and then seeing it all the way through to completion: Even a less than stellar idea -seen through to the end -will become an asset and a character builder. Let's say you choose your idea and you run with it. You stick to it all the way from inception to final product creation and product launch. But it doesn't perform the way you hoped and you don't get the sales you anticipated.

You still have an asset you can use for multiple purposes. You can repackage your product with a new cover and new sales letter, and see if it sells better that way. You can use the product as a give away to list build. You can enter your product in giveaways and joint ventures to also build you list. You can use it as a bonus when you sell other products you've created or affiliate products. You can sell resell rights, master resell rights or private label rights to it. You can publish it on Kindle, and so forth.

Incidentally, there are numerous cases where a book did not sell well and the publisher simply changed the title and cover, and it now sold like hotcakes. So it might not be your product at all –it could simply be your product's name or the marketing you're using to sell your product.

And your product is a character builder for you regardless of how well it sells because you've now proven to yourself that youcan choose an idea and stick with it to completion. This skill alone can make you a
very wealthy person.

Don't believe me? Imagine two people: One person skips from idea to idea and rarely ever sees them through to completion. The other person completesone idea after another. Unfortunately, the second person creates 4 products that don't sell very well for every product that sells like gangbusters. After a few years, the first person has 2 or 3 products completed, while the second person has close to hundred products created, 20% of which sold like crazy. Who would you say was more successful?

So how do you generate killer ideas? Here are those seven ways we promised:

1. Solve Problems. If people need money, you show them how to get it. If people need to lose weight, you show them how to be thinner. If people have back pain, you show them how to get rid of it, etc.

2. Answer Questions. Again, you're showing them how to do something. For example, if people are asking how to build a website, run an affiliate program or use a shopping cart, answering their questions can be the basis for a product topic. Sometimes the question might be answered with software. For example, if people want to know how to drive traffic and you've created a plug-in that drives traffic, you have an answer to their question (#2) that solves their problem (#1.)

3. Make a Process Easier. For example, every marketer needs sales letters. If you can develop a software, service or system that makes it easier to get sales letters, you might have a product winner.

4. Improve something. If you've got a method for growing organic vegetables that makes the vegetables bigger, tastier or more plentiful, you've got a product.

5. Do something faster. Maybe you know how make tomatoes grow twice as fast, or youknow how to build a good list faster than anyone, or you have software that cuts the time it takes to perform a task –those are all viable product ideas.

6. Make something cheaper. Can you teach the contents of a $997 course for $27? Or can you show peoplehow to do something cheaper? Maybe you can demonstrate how to grow herbs for a fraction of the store cost –this could make a great product.

7. Find the Hidden Desire or Need. For example, there are tons of products on how to do each aspect of online marketing yourself. But there might very well be a hidden market of upscale buyers who would rather pay someone to develop an online business for them.

How Do You Know Which Product Idea To Choose?

An idea should have every attribute listed here. If it is missing even one of these, then you need to either change your idea or choose something else entirely.

Do you like to do it?If you don't, then you probably won't make a great product from this topic. If you do like it, then you're going to enjoy creating the product and that's going to make your product creation 10 times easier than if you don't like the topic.

Are you good at doing it?If you are, then you're going to be able to convey great info to your buyers because you know what you're talking about.

Work around for the first 2 attributes:There is an exception to liking to do something and being good at it, and it's to find someone who fulfills both of those qualities. Partner with an expert in a topic and let them create the product while you focuson the marketing.

How Not To Be A One-hit Wonder PLR Ebook

How NOT To Be a One-Hit Wonder2

Youdon't want to become one of those many one hit wonders that make a big splash on the Internet and then vanish –but how do you make sure that you're not?

Because it's really easy to say you won't be, but the fact is that no one PLANS to be a one hit wonder; in fact it happens when you DON'T plan.

I'm going to offer some tips here for ensuring that your success is not the flash in the pan variety, but rather the type of success that continues to pay off day in and day out for years to come.

Really what we are talking about is becoming what you might call a “repeat success.” Because isn't that the opposite of being a one hit wonder? There is nothing at all wrong with that initial success –it's repeating that success over and over that gets you the outcome you're seeking. Sort of like being a one hit wonder a hundred or even several hundred times. And when you view it like this, you see that it becomes easier.

The first thing I'm going to recommend will sound too easy, perhaps, but it's extremely important that you try it out for the next 21 days. I say 21 days, because psychologists say it takes that long to make a new habit. Plus, it gives you the proper chance to evaluate the results and see that what I'mtelling you is profound, to say the least.

Okay, are you ready? The first thing you need to do to ensure you have ongoing success is to pick a number from 2 to 5, and then do that many things in your business everyday.

Let's say you are a super busy person with a full time job and a young family, so you don't have much time to devote to your online business. Your number is going to be 2, because you're only going to have time to do 2 things a day. If you're working online full time, your number is 5. Andif you're in between, you can determine the right number for you.

Now then, every evening you're going to make a list of the most important things you need to accomplish the following day in your business. If your number is 2, then write down the 2 things you want to do. If your number is 5, then you'll list the 5 things.

Obviously, you're not going to choose 5 really big things like “build a new website,” “create a new product,” etc. Instead, you'll break down your tasks so that they're manageable and doable in the time allotted. And then you're going to do those things, no matter what. As in, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

Doing the things on your list take priority over your favorite TV shows, eating out, etc. These things are as important as brushing your teeth and sleeping, and once you realize that then you're not arguing with yourself on whether or not to do them, you're simply DOING them.

I told you this would seem too simple –does it? Because this one technique will do more for you than almost anything else. Certainly it will allow you to accomplish more than any self-help seminar you could attend, or any time management tool you could use. The list technique is not new, it's old and it's proven and you know what else? It flat out WORKS. So if you're not already doing it, then I encourage you with all my heart to start using this method now, today, right this very moment.

A word of caution –I see students of Internet Marketing get very excited and say something like, “I am going to do TEN things every day!” But this is a trap. What happens is you get burned out and in less than 21 days you're not doing ANYTING in your business because it just became too overwhelming, too time consuming and too much like WORK. And isn't that what so many of us are trying to escape, the drudgery of WORK?

So don't fall into that trap. If you have lots of hours in your day then choose the number 5, do those 5 things in the morning and early afternoon, and then TAKE THE REST OF THE DAY OFF. That's right –do not allow yourself to get burned out because you will find that your biggest asset in your business is actually your enthusiasm for the business.

Also, do take a day off. Not 2 days, at least not in the beginning, because if you take 2 days off those 2 days often become 3, and then 4, and then you're not doing anything. But you can take one day off and go do something totally unrelated to your online business, and come back refreshed and re-energized the next day.

My second tip for ensuring you have long term success is so simple, and yet few people understand the power of it. Ready? It's to FINISH WHAT YOU START. If you start creating a product, finish it and then promote it. It's not finished until you get it out there and promote it. If you're writing a blog, set a schedule and keep to it. True, your blog will never be “finished,” but if you stop writing then it's as good as an unfinished project.

Look, I probably sound like your father on this one. “Son, you've got to learn to finish what you start.” Why do you suppose your father said that? Frankly, he probably said it because HIS father said it, but there is a terrific amount of wisdom behind that thought.

First of all, if you don't finish what you start then you have wasted your time and energy on that project. Second, you receive nothing in return for your effort –you can't make sales and earn money on a product you didn't finish.

Eleven Tips For Launching A New Anything Online PLR Ebook

Eleven (11) Tips For Launching A New 'Anything' Online2

So you're going to launch a new product/ website/ blog/ service online –how do you make a big splash that gets people on board and taking action? While this isn't meant to be a step-by-step primer, we have put together what we think are the crucial nuts and bolts to any successful launch.

1. Know what you want. You can launch just about anything with a little creativity. But the first question you should be asking yourself is not what to launch, but what you want to get out of a launch. Do you want sales? Do you want to build a list? Positioning? Speaking engagements? Attracting partners and affiliates? By knowing what you want, you'll be much more successful in figuring out how to get it.

2. Forget hype. Create an event.People are over run with hype and hoopla and the latest and greatest everything, which is why you don't want to add to the noise. Instead, you want to cut through all the
hype and turn your launch into an EVENT.

Think about it –despite how busy we all are, we still love holidays and birthdays and graduations and so forth. Why? Because they are events –they're things to look forward to and celebrate. That's why when you turn your marketing into an event, you'll completely bypass all the other marketing that's happening and you'll stand head and shoulders above the other distractions competing for your prospects' attention.

3. Create urgency.Whatever it is that you want people to do –buy your product, get a freebie for subscribing, join your membership, whatever –give them a deadline or use an element of scarcity. For example, if people purchase during your launch period (typically 2-7 days) then they get a special deal or extra bonuses or a lower price. Or your offer is only available during the event –after that it goes away permanently.

It's because you're running this special event that you can add in the scarcity element. Otherwise it's difficult to do it ethically –for example, those scripts that say the price will increase by midnight of the day the visitor hits the page are not only unethical –they may even be illegal.

And because of the scarcity –the bonuses going away or the price increasing or the actual product no longer being available –you'll find there is a surge in sales in the hours before the deadline. Scarcity really is a powerful motivator.

4. Introduce something in the middle of your event to spike sales.Let's say you're doing a five day event. On day 1 sales will be high because people are primed to buy. But by day 3 sales will have fallen off dramatically. That's why you need something to add excitement and make more sales. It might be an additional big bonus, or it could be a payment plan. Whatever it is, introduce it shortly before the halfway point. You should see a sales spike in the hours immediately after your announcement and again on the last day of the event in the final hours before it closes.

5. Your sales letter is not what you think. Sure, on the day of your big launch you've got a sales letter ready to sell your product or sell whatever action you want them to take. But that's only the END of your sales letter. Really your entire sales letter begins with your first marketing message and continues all the way through the pre-launch phase.

What you're doing throughout your entire prelaunch phase is introducing yourself to your prospects, letting them know that you suffered from the same problem they have and you've found solutions. You're telling your story, and as you tell your story you also share tidbits of really excellent information that they can use right away.

You're actually accomplishing two things at the same time –you're establishing trust by telling your own personal story, and you're establishing credibility by sharing some of your best stuff with them for free. Mind you, you're not giving away the farm or telling them everything you know. Rather, you're telling them what they need to do to accomplish their goal or solve their problem. You're just not telling them how to do it, because that is covered in the product.

This way, when you get to the actual product launch day, you've got people who don't even need to read your letter in order to purchase your product –they're ready to buy. And those who do need a sales letter to make the decision are already warmed up and very interested –you just need to push them over the fence.

6. Begin your launch just as you would begin a sales letter–with a big headline. You need something to capture people's attention and get them excited. And each phase of your pre-launch should have another headline, whether it's a written message or a video. Always be capturing attention and creating curiosity all the way through the process.

Remember, this is an EVENT, so treat it like an event. Rather than using hype, attract people with what's actually happening and what's really taking place. Your launch can change people's lives –if not then maybe you should rethink it. And because it can change lives, you need to clearly convey that message to your prospects. And the best way to do that is by using an attention grabbing headline each time that sets the tone, and then following up with really great information.

7. Have a great offer. This goes for anything and it's especially relevant for launches. Just because you're going to all the trouble of creating an event doesn't mean you don't also need a great offer, because you do. I don't care if you're a wiz at prelaunches and launches, if your offer stinks then you're not going to make sales.

So what's a great offer? It's something where the customers thinks, “Wow, I can't believe I'm getting so much value for so little money.” That doesn't necessarily mean that your offer is cheap –it could be $1000. But it does mean that you are offering far more in value than the price you are charging. For example, if you're showing someone how to set up a business that pays them $1000 a week, then $1000 for that information is nothing, it's peanuts. Or if you're showing them how to solve a problem that's been driving them crazy for days or weeks or even years, and you're dong it for only $47 while they've spent hundreds trying to solve it, then it's a great offer.
