SURVEILLANCE GEAR

Beyond searching for signs of cheating, digging through trash, and gathering phone and computer evidence, if you want to proceed to more advanced surveillance, here are some gadgets and methods to help you catch a cheating lover.

GPS MOBILE PHONE

You can purchase a GPS-enabled mobile phone anywhere electronics are sold, along with prepaid minutes. Next, you need to subscribe to an online GPS locator service for a nominal monthly fee. Many telephone companies offer this service as an add-on to their basic package.

Once the phone is fully charged, give it to your partner as a gift to ensure the best reception. Or, you can plant the phone somewhere on their person, in a piece of luggage, or in their vehicle. If you're going the latter route, turn off the ringer and hide the phone under a rear seat. You will lose about 10% reception, but you will be able to perform adequate surveillance. Remove and recharge the phone every few days.

You can track the phone online, by logging onto the website of whatever service you've joined. You only have to enter the number of the mobile phone to immediately access its location. A map will appear on your computer screen, telling you where your partner is at that moment within thirty feet. You can see where the phone has been since you first installed it by checking the location history. You're also able to access maps and directions. You'll know exactly where your partner has been and are one step closer to possibly catching someone who's being unfaithful.

GPS TRACKER

A high-tech GPS tracker is easy to conceal, does not need re-charging, and is considerably more expensive than a GPS-enabled phone. In most jurisdictions, it's only legal to track a vehicle which you own. If you do not co-own your partner or spouse's car, you can install a GPS tracker on your car and lend it to your suspected cheater. Always check with an attorney if you are in doubt about privacy laws regarding the vehicle you want to track.

GPS trackers range in price from $200 to several hundred dollars. Most fit in the palm of your hand, and operate on size-A batteries which last about one month. You can opt for an active GPS tracker which operates in realtime, sending a location every 5 or 10 seconds. You access this information online and pay a monthly fee. Passive GPS trackers cost less and do not require internet fees, but they only provide tracking history, where your vehicle has been and for how long. To access data you retrieve the unit, attach it to your computer and download the information.

ELECTRONIC VIDEO SYSTEM

Video technology is one of the most rapidly changing industries over the past ten years. It's now used for surveillance more than anything else, not the least of which is trying to catch a cheater. Tiny cameras, known as Nanny Cams, are sometimes as small as a penny, others can be hidden inside a writing pen. Cameras can masquerade as a smoke detector, wall clock, desk lamp, radio, necktie, or other covert systems. For as little as a few hundred dollars you can set up a wireless spy-camera in less than an hour.

There's a lot of equipment available, but it's not all top quality. There's nothing more disappointing than purchasing a video system that can barely send a signal across the room. Familiarize yourself with video camera fundamentals before making a purchase. Your local electronics store personnel can offer solid advice, and various online sources provide extensive information about their products.

Basically Nanny Cams are mini TV stations, a camera with a transmitter built inside. The camera transfers video via radio wave to a receiver which converts the signal back to video and displays it on a monitor or sends it to a recording device. The components are: camera/transmitter, receiver, and monitor or recorder. If you want to use more than one camera, you will need an extra component, a switcher, to go back and forth between cameras at set intervals. Learn about the output power of a transmitter, and the frequency at which it transmits. The higher the frequency the better. These systems run off a 9-volt battery and/or electrical power.

Another consideration is whether you're going to record audio. It's perfectly legal to record video images of another person in your home or on your property, if there is no expectation of privacy, say in a bathroom. But it's never legal to intercept their oral communication. If you end up using your spy-cam video in a divorce case, you don't want to risk having it thrown out of court because you also recorded audio. You probably are best off with a video-only camera for spying on a suspected cheater when you're not around, or they're behind closed doors. If you haven't recorded audio, you won't have to worry about an angry cheater suing you for invasion of privacy when you present your evidence.

The cutting edge of spy-cams and surveillance is the PVR, personal video recorder. These are digital camcorders which can be hooked up to record a spy-cam, and can easily be carried covertly in your pocket. Most PVRs

can double as a still camera, tape recorder, or MP3 player, others contain video games. Another new device is the personal-security digital video recorder. It's a stand-alone unit which can be placed in a room and only becomes activated by motion detection. You don't need a VCR or software. For playback, simply plug the unit into the jack on your TV with an ordinary video cable. The unit is about the size of a cigarette pack.

If you want to record outdoors, walking along the beach, at a restaurant or in a store, consider the ''spy-cam mobile phone,'' which is a dummy phone that has been hollowed out to contain a camera and battery. You need to stash the receiver and recorder in a nearby location while you walk around with the "phone" in your hand. Or, you need a second person to carry the receiver and recorder. You might appear to be carrying a mobile phone, but every time you point it at someone or set it down, you're actually videotaping what's going on around you, even if you're looking in the opposite direction.

Blogging Decisions

What is the blogosphere, really? It's a place where anyone—man, woman, child, or automated feed scraper—can slap up templates or build a site of their own and update it with useful(?) information or tales of their weekly shopping trips to their hearts content. It's both a powerful tool utilized by businesses and websites on a daily (or more often) basis and a running personal diary put up online for all to see. The blogosphere is filled with experts and novices, and people who think they are experts who are really novices. It's a mixed-bag of content and expertise, or lack thereof. It's a community experience that knows no real bounds. Or boundaries.

As such, blogs can be a boon or a bust to your affiliate program. Nevertheless, they are being touted as the fastest, easiest, most simplistic way to promote affiliate products and generate sales. But are they? Let's explore both sides of this issue.

Why Blogging Might be a Bust

Many of the very things that make blogging a 'natural' choice for affiliate promotions are what make blogging the wrong way to effectively market as an affiliate.

First of all, let's take on the very blogosphere itself. It's a crowded place. It is true that the blogosphere is filled with a variety of interests, and holds something for everyone, but in the midst of all that interest, it's increasingly hard to be found. Even the best, most prolific, and most dedicated bloggers take months and years to build a solid following. A blog is absolutely not the place to go for instant traffic.

The community aspect of blogging can be great, but couldn't it also be a bust? All that commenting and free-for-all outside commentary might work against you and discredit you. And you need to think about how valuable that following is. This will largely depend on your spectrum of product offerings. If you have a variety of products that a customer might want to come back for, or an upgradeable product suite, staying in touch with buyers could be a great thing. If your product is more of a one-time-only purchase, there's probably no recouping the time investment you will incur.

Content refreshment is one of the biggest recognized benefits of blogging. You can post quickly and easily everyday and thereby please those search engines and hungry blog-followers with new content. There's no denying that. But you need to think this through—how much can you come up with to say about your products? Can you keep your products upfront on a blog? How many times can you spin it? And most importantly, what happens when your well of topics dries up? Those search engines and readers will be waiting for more, and you'll be grasping for new post ideas.

It's easy to get a blog started and keep it running for a few months, but Big Dog kind of income demands that you construct a more long-term plan. Theoretically a blog is a long-term prospect, but without something new to say, one can only live so long.

We also need to tackle the issue of being able to feature multiple products. This flies right in the face of the discussion we just had in the last chapter, doesn't it?

By doing that, you're dividing your forces and taking the focus away from your top-seeded efforts. You've created a marketplace of confusion, and you've made it hard to figure out what the right—simple—solution is.

We also need to talk about blogs from a structural standpoint. Unless you can build your own blog (and even if you can this is tough...), blogs and templates do not allow for a high level of flexibility. There is a basic structure, and it is very hard to add the buttons and features in the places you need them to be. Consider, too, that sometimes the structure and design you've worked so hard for may be impacted (rearranged) by the length and amount of your postings.

Now it might sound like we're completely anti-blogging for affiliate programs, but that's not exactly the case. Let's wrap this discussion up by looking at how a blog might still be a useful tool.

Website & Content

The obvious choice would be to put that effort into your website and content. You can achieve the same results by simply refreshing the content of your website. You can add to its archives and additional resources sections (without muddying the primary pages we established before), and still give current information and additional value to your customers and to the search engines.

Not only can you add additional content, but you can test and tweak and change the content you have and test it against past versions. As you'll learn, even very small, seemingly insignificant changes can really make a big difference to traffic and conversions. Spend the time you would spend posting on a blog to look for ways that you can tweak or enhance your website.

And don't forget—you've got that master site to build. Instead of devoting time to a minimal-return blog, why not get started on your big catch-all so that you can dominate your niche traffic?

Articles, Articles and More Articles

All the articles you write, or hire out to a freelance writer to have written, do not need to be posted on your website. In fact, they shouldn't be. Use those primary articles and tutorials on your site, add some new stuff now and again to keep everyone happy, and then submit to article directories. Utilize profile and link capabilities to link back to your website, the authority on Widgets. (You might know this method by other popular names, like "Bum Marketing” or "Article Marketing.")

15 Im Questions Answered MRR Ebook With Video

I Don't Have My Own Product. What Can I Sell?

A good question that comes up on many occasions, even many of my close friends who see me sitting here working away whenever I feel like it. They often ask me, 'How can I start my own business?' The response comes that you need an idea first for your own product. After a quick pondering look towards the sky, they turn back and reply, but I don't have my own products what can I sell?

Well, the simple answer is if you don't have your own product you're going to have a hard time selling anything, online or offline. There's so much raw promotion power that comes with having your own products. Look at it this way, without them, you can't joint venture, you can't have an army of affiliates promoting for you, you can't control the sales process and gain new knowledge through your research, you can't build up your resources for future promotion, in fact, there isn't much good to come out of not having your own product.

So make one. The longer time you spend looking around in your target market, the easier it will be to come up with ideas for your own product. I don't expect to plant this guide in front of a random person who thinks all we do is send e-mails out all day and scam people (which seems to be the usual joke when I mention to someone that I'm in online marketing) and then tell them to create a product out of the blue.

In much the same way, if this was literally your first day in the business I wouldn't expect you to be able to go out and create your own online marketing product. You need to have the knowledge first, even if you're not creating an info product. Once you've found yourself mingling with the crowd and getting down and buying products and talking to people, it's very rare that you can come out of a situation without coming up with a new idea, even out of the simplest of situations.

A good example of this is a conversation I had a couple of weeks ago with a fellow marketer. He'd just written a shed load of reports and wanted to do something a little special with them. Unfortunately he had to go through each one manually and do this by hand. We just could not find a piece of software to do this for him (Sorry, I can't tell you exactly what it is, because it sounded like that would be his next venture). But as you can see, just by living as an online marketer, it's real easy to come up with product ideas that are solutions to problems you might have.

How about revelations? I've had these too, not necessarily with online marketing, but when you're trying to figure out how to do something, and after a long while thinking, it comes to you, you try it out, and it works like a charm. That's valuable information you have there that could easily be sold. Remember that when you come to creating a product, it doesn't have to be a piece of furniture or something that costs hundreds of

dollars to manufacture, it can be something as simple as information contained within your head that people will want to buy, or a piece of software, that also generally has low overheads, as you can pay someone to complete the build and then go off and sell it.

The choices really are endless, and the more ideas you come up with the more ideas those ideas will spawn. It only takes one idea to create a five or six product venture that could last you a whole year. Whatever you do though, don't skip over this. Don't say ah well, I'll just promote other peoples stuff, because you'll find yourself in the same position this time next year going about things like that. It's all about creating products that allow you to build your resources, and starting out not creating your own, is out of the question.

I'm Worried That I Won't Succeed, What Do I Do?

Moving on now to question number six. If you're worried that you won't succeed this time, or that people won't like your work, have no fear because you're not alone, and I believe that this is healthy to an extent. As far as my experience shows me, there are three types of people out there. The first type are those who don't really care. They just want to make some money so they throw any old thing out there as quickly as they can. This is surely unhealthy, and we can't be doing with bad quality products.

Then there are type two, who are indeed bothered about what people want out of a product, what the reactions will be and so on. For this reason they make sure everything is up to scratch and the best they can make it before it's released. As far as I can tell, the majority of good marketers are at this stage. That doesn't mean anyone who isn't doesn't have the ability, but it could well mean they're stuck in a rut, and going nowhere fast, and this is where things get damaging.

Type three, the marketers that want everything to go smoothly, just as the above states, but have a problem getting anything done because either, they've failed before and have a problem coming back from that, or they're worried what people might say to them, which some of the time will be things they really didn't want to hear. For example, a straight up no I'm not interested in your joint venture proposal and on the lighter side of things, and the odd strange customer that decides to send abusive mails. (We all have one no matter how good the product, let me assure you, in which case a cool, polite helpful reply often does the job to fix the situation).

Work As Much or As Little As You Want

Want to get paid more? Then work more. Want to just have a fun, profitable project on the side? Then work less!

What's great about AdSense is that there's no obligation whatsoever. It's not like having an employer that's asking you to get a certain amount of clicks per month - It's entirely up to your own personal discretion how much or how little you want to make, how much or how little you want to work.

You set your own hours, your own dates, and your own vacations. Of course, the more you work the more you'll make. The amount of work you want to do is completely up to you.

The Money is More or Less Passive

The money you make is more or less passive income - Meaning that once you put the work in, you'll get paid whether you do more work or not.

It's not 100% passive - If you have your website making $1,000 a month, that amount will gradually go down over the course of a year or two if you don't put any new content up.

But could you take a 3 month vacation to France while continuing to get paid and not putting any work in? Absolutely! In fact, you could easily take a 3 month vacation without taking a hit on your income.

Could you build a business, get a day job and effectively be getting paid double - While putting just a couple of hours a week into maintaining your income? Of course!

The income you'll make from AdSense is about 90% passive. You can leave it for a period of months and you could do almost no work on it and it will keep coming in. It takes just a little bit of work to maintain it at its current level or just a bit more work than that to have it continue to increase.

You Can Do Something You Love - And Get Paid for It

What are your passions or hobbies? If you could get paid for anything, what would it be?

One thing about AdSense is that you can make money promoting just about any kind of website. If your passion is fly fishing, you could easily create a fly fishing website, put AdSense on it and get paid for it.

If your passion is health, you can get paid for that as well. Even if it's something obscure - Like how to raise a Rottweiler, you can get paid for that too.

Just about any topic you're interested in, that others might be interested in as well, you can make money from through Google AdSense. In other words, you can make passive income from your own home doing what you love to do. Any topic that you're passionate about, you can make money from.

Easy Learning Curve

Unlike many other internet businesses, Google AdSense has a very easy to follow learning curve.

A typical business's learning curve could take you up to 6 months -Maybe even longer before you make any money. You have to learn how to sell, how to write marketing copy, how to collect money, how to get traffic, how to merchandise, how to manage, etc.

Fortunately, you won't have to go through such a steep learning curve. With Google AdSense, you can start making money within your very first week.

The learning curve is very easy. Learning how to install Google's code takes about 30 minutes. Getting traffic and getting paid might take you a week to learn. Apart from that, there's very few skills you need to learn.

Then you're off towards making however much you want to make!

This is a ZERO Startup Cost Business!

Most other internet businesses have huge startup costs. A typical internet business would cost $1,000+ to startup - sometimes as much as $10,000 and up. Initial merchandise, merchant accounts, shopping carts, etc all cost a fair amount of money to get started with.

With AdSense, your startup cost is quite literally zero. Web hosting and a domain name do cost money - About $10 each - But even those are optional if you choose to hose your sites on a Blogger or Wordpress site.

For under $50, you can start making money online today. In no other time in history has this been possible. There's literally no reason not to get started today.

Rinse and Repeat

There's no limit to how many times you can rise and repeat the AdSense profit formula. Unlike, say, a chair business where you'd be starting competition with yourself, with Google AdSense you can literally start as many different websites as you want.

If you've started a successful Fly Fishing website making $500 a month, you could just as easily start a website about internet marketing and make another $500 a month.

However many times you choose to rinse and repeat is at your own discretion.

How You Get Paid

Google sends you a check once a month with the total amount of money you've earned from Google AdSense.

If you've been making $10 a day, at the end of the month Google will send you a check for $300.

You don't need to fill out tax forms until you've made a certain amount of money. There's no payment processing system you need to setup. Getting paid is fast, easy and intuitive.

You Can Get Started Now

With many businesses, you have to wait weeks or months before you can start earning your first dollars:

First, you have to incorporate, which could take up to a month. Then you need to get your merchant accounts and payment processors online, which could take another 2-4 weeks. Then you need to get your products ready, which could take weeks. The wait times pile up on and on while you're shelling money out of your own pocket to cover expenses.

With Google AdSense, there's no such wait times. All you need to do is start your website now and start getting some traffic.

The moment you start getting traffic is the moment you start getting paid. This could take as little as one week before you start seeing money come into your bank account!

5 FIRST DATE DATING TIPS FOR SENIORS

You are contemplating asking her out for your first date. The problem is you don't know whether you can do it. Well, you know you can ask her out, the difficulty is if you can do it the right way. It has been a long time - we are talking decades here, since you asked anyone out. Not only have you changed, but so, too, has dating. It is a whole, new world out there and you are not sure whether you can take it on without flopping miserably.

Such anxieties are natural. You want to make sure you clinch the date. You do not want to be rejected. If you do nothing, however, someone else may ask her out. You will then be left at home going nowhere and not doing what you really want to do. Is this what you want?

In fact, the first thing you need to do is to look closely at what you do want. Be honest. Why are you interested in asking this woman out? The reasons do vary from when you were first dating. They could be any of the following:

Someone to talk to

A friend to go with me to movies, concerts and parties

Companionship

Someone to do my washing, cooking and cleaning

A person to take care of me

Someone to share the rest of my life with

Sex

Whatever your reason, you need to be honest. You also need to realize the first person you ask out may not match your criteria. Like when you were younger, you will have to have a first date more than once to find what and whom you want. You also have to be ready for rejection. Not everyone you ask will want to go out with you. They all have their reasons. Let's just hope it has nothing to do with your current track record. If you suspect this to be true, you need to carefully consider the advice provided below.

One of the obstacles to dating is the change in dating habits. Women have become more liberal as time has sped on. They assume a first date is just that a first date. They no longer feel so obligated to find a partner. In fact, the women you successfully ask out have probably been married already. Depending upon their experience, they may not want to marry again - ever. It is their prerogative.

Another problem is where to go. If you once enjoyed going to nightclubs or single bars, you are unlikely to find any specifically designed with senior dating in mind. If you date likes such things as jazz or folk, you can still locate several of these clubs. These venues are usually quieter. You can actually talk and frequently dine. There are also older dance clubs where you can learn and have a good time dancing.

Finding a place to take your date is part of the challenge. You can go to a library or bookstore. Here, you can catch a lecture or a book signing. Sometimes, these places host book clubs. A discussion of the authors in a group setting can help you break the ice. Conversation can flow more easily if you have something about which the both of you can talk.

If you are still active, take her to a sporting event. Better still, go off and play tennis. Take a brisk walk or hike scenic trails. You may decide to go to an art gallery for an opening or a museum. Why not take her antiquing or to a farmers' market or flea market. This provides you with plenty of things to look at and on which to converse. Perhaps a fair is in town or there is a special lecture.

Always consider what the two of you have in common. Always consider the amount of mobility you two are capable of maintaining. If she is a sedentary, stick with something quiet, with places you can sit down and talk. It could be a lunch or dinner date. It could also be a park or botanical garden with benches scattered in strategic spots.

If you both like sports go golfing, catch a baseball game, go to the track or play tennis. Make the most of the date. Seize the opportunity to make it comfortable and memorable. If you want to see her again, you have to give her a reason why she should do so.

PREPARING FOR ASKING THE QUESTION

One way to prepare yourself for asking her out is to research her. Knowing something about her besides her name will help you determine whether you are compatible. It will indicate common interests. It will also help you to decide whether your needs/wants and her needs and wants have any common ground. Doing your homework may also help you relax when you actually pose the question. You will have more than an idea of who she is and what she likes. This may increase the chances of your venture being successful. You will know what she might want to go to see. This will improve your confidence. It helps you ask her. Be confident, but do not be cocky.

In fact, one of the major problems with many senior men is attitude. They know single senior women outnumber them. As a result, some feel they are doing a woman a favor by asking her out. You are not. Abandon any condescending tones or mannerisms. Some women are divorced because they have had enough of this same attitude. They do not owe their happiness to a man.

Another problem is vanity. Do not lie about your age. What is the point? You should be proud you are still alive and functioning. You have experience and, hopefully, have accumulated wisdom in some form or other. Moreover, the truth of these matters always comes out. When it does, it will throw some doubts on your credibility in other areas. This will decrease your chances of obtaining any more first dates.

In fact, it is important you be honest in your intent and in your words. By now, older women have a built-in lie detector. They are as experienced as you are, and not easily fooled. You need to be direct in your approach. You need to ask the question in a plain and clear manner. You also need to make apparent this is a first date and not a lifetime commitment.

Chapter 4: Get Off The Couch And Get Outside

Synopsis

If you’re plunked down on a sofa or chair right now, encircled by 4 walls and a ceiling, you’re not solo. In fact, this is the #1 anti-activity — seated disease. It’s the top reason more and more of us have no passion. Our progressively homebound, car-bound, office-bound, computer-bound life-style takes up a lot of our lives.

Do Something Different

This isn’t what our bodies or brains were built for. For the huge majority of humankind’s history, we spent our days doing outside forcible labor. Our sedentary life-style is a fresh arrival —but we’ve surely accepted it!

Convenience might be good, but lack of daily action isn’t. Sedentary living has been associated to every major health disorder of our times: as well as lack of passion.

Get outside! Switch off the television, push the ottoman away from the couch, lace your shoes and get outdoors for at least half-hour a day, plus a couple of hours every weekend.

Sure, we understand, you don’t have to go outside to get a great workout.

But simply looking at flowers alleviates depression and sparks creativity.

There’s no research to affirm it, but it makes intuitive sense that time spent outside adds to good health, higher relaxation, more fitness, or more passion. After all, whether you’re walking, gardening, biking, or simply getting the mail, being outside inherently means becoming more active than being indoors. It’s not on any medical group’s prescribed recommendations, but we say, make ‘more time outside’ among your top passion -improvement goals.

Here are thoughts to help you accomplish just that:

Get on outside clothes the minute you come home from work. For many of us, work-clothing is inside clothes. Make it a ritual: arrive home, right away switch into a tee shirt and shorts, and begin the 2nd part of your day anew.

Hold crucial gear by the door. Outside shoes, dark glasses, a brimmed hat, sun block, and bug repellent all are crucial summer outside gear. Have them all prepared in the same place by your back entrance.

Match eating time with outside time. Dinner took twenty minutes? Then walk for twenty minutes outside right away after eating.

Garden in little batches. Most of us lay aside gardening jobs for the weekend. The result: many hours of difficult work, the last few not really fun. Alternatively, garden in 30-minute spurts all week long.

This will get you outside more often, and you’ll never get bored or fatigued as of the brevity of the job. Best of all, come the weekend, your yard and garden will require only a little work, leaving you more time for play!

Adopt more nature walks. If you’ve adopted walking as part of your regimen, fantastic!

Put together a toy box. What do you love doing outside? Whether it’s golfing, rehearsing your fishing fly casting, doing watercolors, shooting basketballs, playing badminton, playing with your dog, have your gear in a bin near your back entrance, ready for instant use.

Chapter 5: Get Creative

Synopsis

There’s a huge myth in our civilization: that passion may solely be spontaneous. You either like your job or you do not. You either like working out or detest it. You’re interested in reading books or you find them awful. That passion can’t be coerced or produced.

I take issue. Passion may be produced. Even for things you do not presently like.

By fine-tuning the activities and pastimes you engage in, you may discover a passion for anything. All it takes is a little patience and an open brain.

Changing It

The advantage is that you wind up loving the things you have to do anyways. Working out, learning, reading, working and nearly any pursuit might be made into a passion.

And if you understand how to do it, existent passions may be turned from gently interesting to energizing. The skill of discovering your passion is like turning up the dial for the quantity of color you have in life. Here are a few ways to find your passion:

Curiosity is the cornerstone of passion. Cast off your present intellects and start from the view that you're almost totally ignorant on the subject. Then seek novelty to boost your interest.

Make it a contest - supply yourself rules, objectives and strategical restraints. The more originative thinking required, the greater.

Put together a particular goal along with a deadline. This might infuse routine actions with a sense of direction and purpose. Publishing a report goes from being only another job, to an originative challenge that promotes you.

Find hidden chances for self-expression. This might mean inventing a style for folding up clothes. Switching the format you compose code in or altering the style of your presentment. View every activity as an act of expression and originality.

Cut down distractions and get rid of noise. The more you center on an activity the better you might notice interesting qualities about it. The only really boring activity is the one you can’t pay attention to.

Discover ways to utilize skills you already have in a fresh endeavor. An artistic individual could draw images to help himself study. An athletic individual may be able to utilize her strength and endurance as a speaker.

If an action is too hard for you to become enthusiastic about it, slow up. Worry less about outcomes and more about experimenting till you develop skill.

Energy is catching. If you spend time with somebody who exudes passion about a matter, some of it will rub off on you. Seek out individuals who have the energy you want and get them to distinguish their motivation. Frequently it will point you to key data you had no idea might be so interesting.

For awful tasks, make them harder. For frustrating jobs, make them simpler. This might be done by altering the speed or restraints you require to complete a job.

Boring jobs might be made more interesting by adjusting a time-limit. Frustrative assignments might be made simpler by allowing yourself an awful first-draft rather than perfection.

Confidence is essential for passion, but arrogance might destroy it. Build a humble self-assurance where you trust in your abilities to handle the strange, but you likewise have a great respect for it.

Banners

There are a few options available as to how to capitalize on the use of banner ads. The banner ads can be used as pay per click or flat rate payments styles.

This would mean the banner ad gets the viewing public’s attention when they click on the sites that have the ads featured or when directly click on the banner.

Of course making the ad as attention grabbing as possible within the first few second is crucial to ensuring the viewer takes the trouble to continue giving it their undivided attention till the end of the ad

Chapter 4: SEO

Synopsis

SEO stands for ‘Search Engine Optimization” which is basically the art of getting your website onto the first page of the search engines such as the big “G” (Google), Bing and Yahoo.

SEO

The SEO technicalities change from time to time, but there are still many basic SEO techniques for getting your website favored by Search Engines which I am about to reveal.

The first of all is in-site optimization. Basically, it involves tweaking your website and blog posts in such a way that its easy for Google “Spiders” to crawl your website and index it so that people can find your website easily.

For example, you should always include keyword phrases into the titles of your blog posts as this will help you articles get found by people who search for these phrases in the search engines.

Also, it is helpful to include keyword phrases and keywords in the first sentence of the first paragraph and bold or italicize them. This is often favored as well.

However, exercise caution when using keywords as excessive keywords will come off as “spam” by Google spiders and your website will be punished, so only use it when necessary.

The key is to find a good balance between SEO optimization and user readability. You don’t want to sound like a robot in all your blog posts as this will turn people off.

Next is backlinking. The more links your website gets from outside authority websites, the higher your page will rank in Google. As a general rule of thumb, it is better to get more quality backlinks (e.g more reputable websites of similar niches) than many links from smaller websites - A move that is often frowned upon as may come off as “link farming”.

You can also link between blog posts within your website to boost SEO points but this does not contribute nearly as much as outsider links.

Recently, a new trend has emerged in SEO which is social interaction. Which means, people must actively interact on your website, whether if it’s through sharing, tweeting or commenting on your blog posts. This is favored by search engines and will greatly boost page ranking for those that make their websites interaction friendly.

Chapter 5: Paid Traffic

Synopsis

One of the fastest ways to get traffic is to pay for traffic. That’s right. If you set yourself a healthy marketing budget, you stand to grow your business exponentially.

Buying Traffic

You’ll have to set up an adwords account with Google and your website must comply with the stringent guidelines set my Google. Recently, Google has banned many adwords accounts for not adhering to their guidelines and are focusing their advertising business to more bigger companies.

In any case, if you decide that you want to adverstise on Google and that your website is credible enough, go for it.

If not, there’s also Facebook advertising which is similar to Google adwords where you can start your own advertising campaign and set your own budget.

Another form of paid advertising is by paying other web masters to advertise your links on banners on their high traffic websites. This usually informs some form of agreement with the webmaster such as a monthly fee or a one off payment for a permanent link.

The amount for payment on such sites will ultimately depend on how much traffic that website receives and also you’ll have to consider how relevant that website is to yours so that you won’t be paying for unqualified traffic.

Paid traffic can be a fast way to get leads fast at an affordable price and should be considered once you have a solid business sales funnel set up.

Chapter 6: Google Adwords

Synopsis

As mentioned earlier, you can leverage on Google’s advertising platform Google Adwords to get your website on the front page of Google almost instantly.

Google

One common form of Google advertising is known as Pay Per Click or PPC. Basically, Google advertises your text ad at the side bar or on top of the searches as a sponsored ad and you pay Google each time someone clicks on your ad.

Clicks could range from 10 cents a click to even 1 dollar per click, depending on the competitiveness of the keyword. Therefore, steer away from competitive keywords such as “make money online” or “buy insurance” if you wish to have your ad appear in front of Google.

The key is to target keywords or phrases with low advertising volume but yet high search volume.
