So which monetization method is right for you?

Chances are, a combination will work best (such as a mix of AdSense ads, affiliate offers and your own offers). However, the only way to know for sure is by rotating your offers and testing to see which ones get the best response.

You’ll need a tracking tool like Google Analytics in order to do this. Then simply place different offers in your blog’s sidebar and track the response. Which ads get the most clicks? And more importantly, which ones put the most money in your pocket?

Tip: Placement matters! Not only should you test different ads, you should also test to see which spots on your blog generate the most revenue. For example, perhaps ads at the top get the most clicks and sales, while ads in the footer hardly get noticed.

Once you’ve determined the winners, then you can feature these revenue-producing ads and links in the best placement locations on your blog.

Now let’s wrap things up…

Step 10: Persistence

The people who succeed the most fail the most. Not because they fail the most, but because they would never give up.

Let's take Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth has 700 homeruns, yet almost 1,400 strike outs. That's how the majority of successful people are. The majority of successful people do fail. They just didn’t give up.

The majority of people won't take step 9. They'll go through steps 1 through 8 and not do a darn thing. The majority of people who took step 9 gave up at step 10, pursuing, persisting, going after their goal.

The people who are going to be the most successful are the ones who are not only going to understand how money works through profit and their mentality and their passion and making decision and using their 4 talents and taking action, but they're going to be the ones who just don't give up. They don't take no for an answer.

They may not have gotten over the wall, but they may have gotten around the wall or under the wall or through the wall, whatever it takes to get where they want to go. They're not going to quit.

If that's you, then you will make it. No matter what obstacles are against you, you will make it.

This is the most important part of Awaken. You can take actions over and over and over, but where the majority of people stop in their tracks and truly fail is when they don't persist.

The true definition of failure has nothing to do with you not getting the results you want. The true definition of failure is never persisting, never going at it again and again and again.

If you have the power of persistence, you will go far in life.

Your body language doesn’t lie to anyone. No matter what you are trying to convey if your body language doesn’t match then people will not respect or listen intently to you.

A great example of a group of people who use body language as a persuasive tool are lawyers. Their closing arguments consist of persuading the jury to side with them and deliver the verdict on their side. If you have ever seen a good lawyer in action you know how passionate they can get. They will gesture with their arms and often slap text books down on a bench to attract attention to a certain point.

By body language we mean how you position your body for example how close do you stand next to someone, do you shake hands with the person and what expression do you have on your face.

Your eyes can give away a lot without you realizing it. Even the way you touch objects or the way you fiddle with your hair or jewelry. All of these things tell other people a lot about you. First impressions count and these are often conveyed by your body language. Plus it is often very difficult to change a first impression once it has been set in someone’s mind.

If you are not getting the results you want from your persuasive efforts then it is time to change things up. One of the first things people recommend is to change your body language.

When you are talking with someone you want to pay attention to what they are doing. If they are talking in a soft voice then you should do the same. If they are not boisterous and outgoing you want to tone things down to match them.

The more someone likes you the easier it will be to get want you want when it comes to persuasion. Not everyone you meet is going to remember everything that you talked about but they will remember how you made them feel. If they were uncomfortable they will remember this the next time they see you. So how do you make people want to meet you again?

This comes down to your body language and your appearance. One of the first things you should do when talking with someone is to make eye contact and shake hands with confidence. If you constantly look away while talking this will come across as avoidance on your part and will not help you get what you are after.

One of the easiest things to do is smile as this relaxes you and everyone around you and puts them at ease. You immediately come across as approachable and friendly.

Dressing for success is important too and this includes wearing the right colors. There is an entire business that deals with helping people choose the right colored clothes. You will be categorized into one of the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.

Wearing the right colors and dressing for success are so important and there is even research which shows what colors you should wear according to the time of day. This is related to the techniques of Fung Shui which uses energy levels.

People who dress in bright colors are immediately more noticeable than those who dress in dark navy blues, grays and blacks. What you wear will leave a lasting impression on those around you, so don’t overlook this important factor.

What year did you begin using WordPress?

"I believe it was late 2009. That's when I started The Happypreneur website."
Did you have a standard website before this, or one hosted on a different platform?

"I was using Blogger. I'd had numerous blogs on there and a couple on a free builder site, can't even remember the name of it."
What were your primary dislikes about it?

"Realized my business was reflecting my "free''philosophy and needed to get serious in the way I presented myself. These sites were very unprofessional. It looked like I was playing at being in business but hadn't really make the commitment. I disliked the inability make the changes to the sites I needed and the lack of functionality."

What were your primary reasons for choosing WordPress?

"It's what the successful entrepreneurs were using or were in the process so switching to. I figured if it was good enough for them... Also, I'd heard it was easy to learn and maintain and the flexibility and functionality were 2nd to none."

Do you use Wordpress primarily for business or personal websites?

"I only have business websites, so for business. If I did have a personal site, it would be WordPress as well."

Overall, what impresses you the most about WordPress?

"The ease of learning how to build and maintain a WordPress . Anyone can do it with good instruction. No tech skills required at all. In my coaching business, I mentor new solopreneurs who are just getting started or have been at it a while and have gotten stuck (usually on technology). I teach them the basic nuts and bolts of how to set up the back end of their businesses so they can get out front where the money is. WordPress makes it easy to teach simple solutions to allow them set everything up quickly and easily so they can go from working in their business to actually doing business. It's the simplicity I love the most about WordPress. It empowers not-techie people like me to have complete control over our business."

Have you ever dealt with WordPress support, support forums, or open source theme developers? What was your experience?

"Some good, some not so good. The support and forums are pretty helpful. The developers of free themes and plugins, not so much. Some are really great at responding to your questions and some don not respond at all."

Did you choose a free WordPress theme, purchase a pre-built theme, or have one developed especially for your website?

"I started out with free themes, but became dissatisfied because I needed more functionality. Some things you just can't change. I wanted more freedom to take control of the little things on my both for functionality and ascetics. I now use Genesis framework and premium themes for WordPress and am able to make my site do whatever I need it to with no need to hire a webmaster to manipulate my theme."

Another option is for you to hire a freelance writer to create the content for you.

Within this overall option you have two additional options;

You work with the freelancer. Perhaps you're not much of a writer, but you do have expertise in the niche. In this case, you can provide a rough draft of your content and let the freelancer polish it to make it more engaging and useful.

You hire a freelancer who's an expert in the niche. That way, you get the best of both worlds. Not only do you get a great writer, but you someone who's qualified to write content for the niche.

Of course there's a third option: you can hire a good writer who's also a good researcher. But again, you'll run into the problem of not being able to share real insider tips and strategies in the niche.

However, one way to get around this is to hire the freelancer to create basic content for you. Then you can enlist the help of experts to create other unique content for you. (You'll learn more about that in just a moment.)

17 Ways To Get More Facebook Fans Personal Use Ebook

Pay per click (PPC, also called CPC or cost per click). This is just like Google AdWords and other pay per click platforms, where you only pay when someone clicks on your ad. Generally, you "bid" on a keyword. The higher your bid, the more favorable your position in the list of ads running along the Facebook sidebar. If someone clicks on your ad, then you pay an amount up to your bid.

Example: If you bid 25 cents to have your ad appear on pages where the keyword appears, then you'll pay up to 25 cents for every click.

CPM (cost per impression). This is the alternative, where you pay a flat rate to have your ad displayed a set number of times (such as 10,000 times) to a targeted audience.

Which is the best option for you?

You're going to want to test it. If you tend to get a lot of clicks, then you might find that the CPM option is more cost-effective for you. If, however, you find that you get fewer clicks but that the traffic is very targeted, than you may find the PPC/CPC option is more cost effective. You'll need to test to see which works for you.

Either way, the key is to create an ad that compels people to click on your ad. This includes;

A relevant, eye-catching photo. Again, make it something that would attract your target market.

Example: If your site is about dogs, then post a picture of a dog. But not just any dog. Post an extraordinarily cute dog. Or be different and post an extraordinarily ugly dog.

A call to action so that people click through.

Example: "Enter the free contest now!" or "Click like now to stop animal cruelty."

Tip: YES! Of course you can take your good ads and test them over at Google AdWords. And likewise, you can take the ads that work well on Google AdWords and test to see if they work on Facebook, too.

A Little Meal Preparation Goes a Long Way

Once you have planned out some of your meals and the ingredients, an excellent idea is to do a little meal preparation in advance. Here are some basic tips;

Try batch cooking, even if it is just your main ingredient from your three ingredient or less meal. Batch cooking your chicken, for example, even if it is just the marinade portion, will save you tons of time. For example, you could buy your chicken in bulk, slice it into cutlets, and marinate in a freezer bag and freeze for later use. In this way, your three ingredient or less meal will have the main staple ready, set, to go.

Try buying in bulk. Sometimes buying in bulk can save you even more money. If you know what types of lean beef and skinless chicken meals your family enjoys, try buying organically, whole foods and in bulk. In this way, you will reap the rewards of eating healthy, cooking quickly, and saving money all at the same time.

Prepare different rubs and spices ahead of time. If you have a basic set of recipes for your three ingredient or less meals, then you can go ahead and prepare some marinades and rubs ahead of time. This will save you tons of time in the kitchen. Imagine pulling out a small package of chicken breasts, rubbing some pre-made marinade on them and throwing together just one more ingredient to have a really flavorful, spicy, simple, easy, and nutritious meal that saved you money.

Preparing whole foods may seem a little bit more work; however, you can wash and cut whole fruits and vegetables and enjoy them as you go along your week. A fresh fruit salad is easy to grab and go for breakfast. Chopped broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower are super easy to use as a stir-fry, in a salad, or with a dip as you are waiting for the real deal dinner to cook.

Whole foods do not have to be difficult foods. If you are cleaning up from one meal, it is very easy to throw a few potatoes in a pot and boil them for tomorrow night’s meal. You could toss carrots and celery along with onion and cauliflower in a pot of boiling chicken broth to simmer for another evening’s soup meal. When you plan ahead, and keep the momentum going, the possibilities are endless.

Once you incorporate meal preparation and meal planning alongside your knowledge of whole food preparation, your three ingredient meal options are endless.

How To Get Your Product To 1 In The Clickbank Marketplace Personal Use Ebook

Out of that, 1% to 2% will actually buy the product through their OWN affiliate link. That means between 200 and 400 people right out of the gate pumping your gravity up to between 200 and 400.

And that's BEFORE they even start promoting it themselves.

The next day, it's number 1 at Clickbank and the fact that it's a top selling product just perpetuates the false notion that it's going to be easy to sell.

What people don't realize is that this artificial gravity was generated through the above process.

One person...the affiliate manager...made all those sales by getting people to buy through THEIR affiliate links.

No, he didn't come right out and say "please buy a copy" but he knew damn well that a certain percentage would.

From that point on, its own momentum will keep this thing going until affiliates get tired of promoting it when they see that it's not so damn easy to sell.

Most of that 300 plus gravity is ONE sale per affiliate. As they drop off, one at a time, others take their place and then THEY sell maybe one or two copies per period.

I'd say that out of a gravity of 300, maybe 3% of that number, or 9 affiliates, are actually making consistent sales...if that many.

Yeah, it's a racket...and a damn good one.

Not unethical, but as you can see, gravity doesn't tell the whole story of how good a product at Clickbank REALLY sells.

Another thing the team will do, in promoting this, is rotate their own Clickbank IDs in the promotional scheme. Some of these teams have as many 100 different accounts. Heck, I have 8 alone and I'm just a little squirt when it comes to the Clickbank game.

Anyway, there you have it. Now you know how stupidly easy it is to get YOUR product to the top of the Clickbank marketplace.
