Use photos and/or URLs below the names of your testimonies.

Not only does it make your testimonials more believable (since mere text and names can be easily faked by just about anyone), the URLs make it possible for your prospects to possibly crosscheck with them.

Also, photos add a hidden message whereby you took some effort to get these people to endorse you and your product/service. So make an effort to get not only the URLs but also photos where possible.

If possible, add audio or video.

This would also add the “believability” factor to your testimonials. Also, it’s easier for your customers to relate their happy experiences from benefiting from your product or service through their own personal touch i.e. voice or video.

Present the testimonials in a nice yellow?shade box.

Light Yellow has been proven to be the ideal color for testimonials in boxes. Alternatively, you can go for “gray” shade depending on your sales copy’s color scheme.

If you have a lot of testimonials, pepper them throughout your sales copy.

You can delegate the testimonials around the your sales copy in a convenient?reading format, with the best testimonial placed right below your sub headline. The other testimonials can be peppered in ones, twos or threes below every component or before another sub headline in the body of the sales copy.

If you have few testimonials, save them for below mid section.

If you have too few testimonials to pepper them throughout your sales copy, you will do well to save all or most of the testimonials in the below mid section where you prove your credibility by letting others “doing the talk” for you.

You may still want to save the best 1 or 2 testimonials and place them somewhere below the sub headline, to encourage your prospects to read on.

Make sure your testimonials are results-oriented.

In short, your testimonials shouldn’t be about “Wow John! You’re great!” (If your name is really John, of course). It should be about what your product or service done to benefit the testimony.

Chapter 9 – How to Decorate a Teenager’s Room When You Have Budget Constraints

If you are the parent of a teenager, sooner or later the subject of redecorating what has been a child’s room will come up.

A teenager’s room is different from a child’s room in that it should be treated more like an adult space. But, it should have a slightly fun flair to it also. It is best if you involve your teenager in coming up with a theme that will help to express who they are (and not what you want).

Also, when redecorating your teenager’s room, let them choose the colors, but provide them with some guidance. So why not let them have a look on the internet and see what they can find?

When redecorating a teen’s room, remember that they are very sensitive to color, and they are much more free with their sense of adventure. Why not go for using a bolder color on the wall behind the bed, and in this way you have a great focal point. Plus, it will save on you having to decorate the whole room. Also, it means that you can include a color in the room that they really like and want, but which will not overpower the room completely.

Another way to redecorate your teen’s room when on a tight budget is to change the window covering. Instead of curtains, why not get them blinds instead? Because they come in so many different designs, colors and materials, there is likely to be something that they will like.

Why not get hold of a small table and turn this up into a cool make up vanity by painting it to match your teenager daughter’s bedroom decor?

Also you could get some colorful bed linens to bring all the elements of the decorating you have done together. You could even purchase extra sheets, which can be made into curtains and lampshades that will match the rest of the decor.

If you can not afford to replace a worn out carpet in your teen’s bedroom, then opt to have it taken up, and go for low maintenance painted floors with some throw rugs. Also, why not include some large cushions which they can use when their friends come round? It will provide them with a much more relaxing and friendly atmosphere for them and a place where they can get away from it all. Rather than replacing a perfectly good bed, instead, just get a more adult like headboard for it instead.

Plus, by rearranging your teen’s furniture in their room, you will be able to give it a whole new dramatic look. Many successful teen room makeovers can quickly and easily be accomplished just by changing the layout of a room. Also, by introducing new accessories and lighting to their room, it can help to change the look of a teen’s room dramatically.

If you want to make a teen’s room look a little funkier, then pick up some fringe or beading from a clearance table at the local craft store. You can then glue this around the bottom edge of the lampshade and the hems of curtains to provide a new look. You could even glue it around the edges of shelves.

Why not keep those free CD’s that such people as AOL put in to magazines etc., and turn them over on to the reverse side and glue them to the frame of a mirror or to cover a closet door. Another great way is to glue them in an overlapping fashion and use them as a faux frame for your teen’s posters. So, as you can see, there are many ways in which a teen’s bedroom can be redecorated and will not end up costing the parents an arm or a leg.

Warning: Don't Start Another Blog Until You've Read This...

Is Blogging To The Bank 3.0 Just Another Hype Fest On Blogging For Money, Or Are We On the Verge Of Gigantic Pay checks With a New Blogger's Blueprint?

Have You Ever Tried To Make Serious Cash From Blogging? If You're Like 95% Of Us, You've Either Failed Miserably Or Never Even Tried To Blog For Big Bucks...So Is This REALLY Legit, or is Rob Trying To Rob Us?

If you've been listening in on all the conversations in the marketing forums, all the talk on social networks, or even just seen some of the products that have been released in the past 12 months, you'll probably know that blogging is one of the hottest activities on the internet right now, not just for marketers but pretty much everyone with something to say.

But it's one thing throwing a blog out there and getting a few readers, yet a completely different ball game trying to get paid anything more than a few pennies per week for doing so.

That's what made me confront Rob Benwell, about his new guide called Blogging To The Bank 3.0 to see what all the fuss is about and whether this is something worth paying attention to. After all, we all know how much potential lies in a successful blog (think hundreds of thousands of dollars per year), but can a guide like this really show us how to go from blog obscurity (or non-existence) to a money churning blogging machine in easy to follow steps?

At the moment, I'm a little sceptical about blogs and making money from them so I forced Rob to hand me a copy of his guide so I could take an insider look at what exactly you'll be getting if you do decide to buy this book.

Only then will you be able to make a balanced decision based on the facts, not the usual hype that you're likely to be bombarded with for the next few weeks or months. So let's get down to it.

First of all, let's take a look at what you actually get when inside the download area...

CHAPTER FOUR - CHILD ABUSE

Although statistics of child abuse related deaths will vary from agency to agency due to non-reporting of the abuse and inconsistent documented incidents, resulting in inaccurate data and clear identification of child deaths linked to child abuse.

It continues to be a wide spread problem through out economic, social, racial, ethnic and religious boundaries with a case being reported approximately every ten seconds or three million reported cases every year, with girls being sexually abused three times more often than boys.

Children are hurt or abused by a parent, guardian, relative, family friend, babysitter, or other childcare provider who are familiar and most often trusted by the child.

More than three children die everyday, as a direct result of child abuse stemming from their own homes. Of these deaths, more than three-quarters of child victims were under the age of five and thirty eight percent were under the age of one.

Many forms of abuse most often occur with some regularity and even increase in severity and frequency over a period time. Over ninety percent of children under the age of twelve who are sexually abused know their attacker, and one of every seven victims of reported sexual abuse are under the age of six.

Children four years old and younger die from child abuse and neglect more often than from accidental falls, drowning, chocking on food, suffocation, fires in the home, or motor vehicle accidents.

Victims of child abuse often grow up repeating their learned violent behavior and have a greater risk of abusing their own children and continuing the cycle of abuse.

It may not be as easy to become a “dot com” millionaire today as it was before the internet business bubble burst, but moneymaking opportunities are still everywhere. Even hobbyist webmasters have discovered that with a little bit of effort, they can transform traffic they already have into cash.

They don’t sell the traffic. They point the traffic in direction of products that will appeal to their visitors and reap a commission on sales made to those they refer. These affiliate marketing opportunities allow anyone with a visited website the potential to make money.

There are, of course, professional internet marketers who work from an affiliate model. They scour the net for the best opportunities, hottest products and highest commissions. They use their marketing talents and a variety of well-honed techniques to send potential buyers to products for which they will recoup a commission. It is an interesting way to make a living, and anyone with the right disposition willing to learn the trade can make it work.

However, affiliate programs are a real opportunity for the less advanced, too. A simple blog about a favorite hobby may eventually attract a substantial readership. If the blogger, even though he or she has no real strong interest in trying to earn a living online, finds and refers those visitors to a good product, he or she will profit. If the product is chosen wisely, the visitor is rewarded, as well. It is a win-win proposition.

Becoming and affiliate isn’t difficult. Many companies operate their own affiliate programs and one can often find the link at the bottom of product advertisements. Others prefer to investigate and join affiliate sites such as Clickbank, where they have the opportunity to choose a variety of products to promote--many of which offer commissions in excess of fifty percent of the gross purchase price.

Hobbyist affiliate marketers are unlikely to make a fortune, but they can make a few extra bucks while still enjoying their online efforts. Many who experiment with affiliate sales develop a heightened interest in internet marketing and may, over time, actually blossom into professional-grade marketers who are able to earn a full-time income online.

All one needs to get started is someone to refer--the more the merrier. If you have a traffic flow interested in a particular subject matter, you can direct them to a product for which you receive a referral commission and can profit while introducing them to something of interest. You won’t make much if you are only sending an occasional stray guest to the affiliate program, but you can earn more as your readership increases.

Whether you are a skilled webmaster or a beginner with a small blog that just so happens to attract a consistent readership, you can use the proven system of affiliate marketing to your advantage.
