The clothes used by the Eskimos are made from animal skins. The caribou skin is the favorites of many. This is because this skin is lightweight but very warm. They also used skins of the seal, polar bear and the Arctic fox. These clothes were styled in different ways depending on the region. In most cases, the clothes are designed in the form of a hooded jacket, trousers, socks and boots. During the winter the kind of clothes that are used are made of two layers. The inner layer made from fur and the outer layer that has been made of skin. Between the two layers was air that could be used to keep the body warm.
