Book Outline Worksheet FICTION
You don’t have to outline your fiction book. Each author has their own process and while many are plotters and do create some type of outline or structure, others are what are called “pantsters.” They write by the seat of their pants.
It’s recommended to give outlining and plotting a try first. It ensures a faster writing process, which means your book will be done and ready to publish much more quickly. And it also ensures there are no gaps in your story. You can look at the outline and make sure everything is organized and lined up to tell your story.
This worksheet presents two different types of outlines. Use the one that works for you and modify it as you see fit.
